Worked great for me at first, but now it's an unplayable mess. The screen gets choppy then completely freezes within the first minute.

I'm putting this down to launch day demand, but if after a few days it continues like this, then i will consider it a fail for me and won't be able to continue using it.

PS - I've got 2 Android controllers and they both work great. I've also tried with the Switch Pro controller and that works great too. I think any Bluetooth controller that has all the buttons you need is basically just going to work, which is awesome.

Edit - the Switch controller joystick axis don't go all the way. Some characters are walking with the joysticks pressed all the way to the edge when they should be running. There needs to be a controller calibration menu implemented to fix this.

We've just had and are still going through an economy destroying pandemic.

If the new consoles even get released at £499.99 they are going to sell very slowly.

Xbox specifically needs to be £399.99 to stand a chance of gaining traction from Sony.

Any more than that and alot of gamers aren't going to bother.

@Bmartin001 Can't beat 1080p 60fps/120fps gaming in ultra.

4k doesn't truly offer that experience faultlessly on any machine at the moment.

So I'm sticking with my 1080p TV

It surely can't help Apple sales that's for sure.

If the price is right, will buy for Xmas.

Not too bothered about a halo delay as long as GamePass is offering strong entertainment.

Players have to remember the draw distance is large from what we've seen too which was not possible on previous gens.

Better some textures and add some nice lighting and you've got a nice looking Halo game.

It doesn't blow the graphics out the water, it doesn't need to.

Why buy it when you get it with GamePass?

I'll be playing 1080p like most people since it is still the most used TV set up.

Would be nice if they could bump up the graphic settings for us 1080p players.

The textures and facial animations look last gen.

All they've done is increase the view distance and bumped the res and fps up.

Having said that, Halo gameplay looks great.

It's fair to say GamePass stole the show.

It's really hard to pass up on a console that offers so much value for money.

Buy the console and you are good to go with over a hundred games.

You literally don't need to buy another game ever.

Having said that, everybody is most excited about graphics and what the new hardware is capable of.

Halo graphics were not mind blowing.

I'm sure the game will be fun and the were some great games shown, but for a reveal event, you want graphics.

Nothing but graphics.

I just hope it's standard for 1080p 60fps ultra mode to be an option.

I don't care for 4k 60fps performance mode because of graphical downgrade.

Nor 4k 30fps due to the fps downgrade.

1080p is plenty enough resolution for a great picture and better graphics / fps.

@Richnj Gold and GamePass are already bundled in the Ultimate subscription.

Sony are paying to use MS cloud services this gen, i think MS have made a brilliant business move.

Sony are basically paying for people's Gold memberships.

Impossible to play all games.

Need to choose carefully what you want to play before downloading.

I haven't owned a console since my daughter was born a couple of years ago.

Now she's not a baby anymore I'm going to get either the PS5 or XB1 X.

This is what will make me buy an XB1 X over the PS5.

It's really good value for money.

Especially if games in general are going to cost more.

Game Pass is all you need to be able to have a good gaming session.

There's probably a 'sales criteria' definition.

Eg for every person that downloads the game and plays for more than 5 hours, that counts as a sale and the developers get 0.01% of the subs fee.

It's probably alot more sophisticated than that, but you get the idea.
