@LtSarge is it €15 or €12? I'm in the US so I've been trying to find the cost and only thing I saw was €12. Not a huge difference, but it does add up.

@tinCAT-zero That's the joke. Horizon, Spider-Man, Ghost of Tsushima are the same game with a different setting, but functionally very similar and none do it as well as Zelda for my money, though I really enjoyed Spider-Man.

I own all the systems and a decent enough PC, I have no horse in this race, but Sony folks love running into other sites and starting fires. There's plenty of games to play on all the systems, but the reason I buy a PlayStation is for MLB, which isn't exclusive anymore.

Talk about the games in Xbox's showcase and saying you didn't think they looked good, but they're all available via Game Pass, so I don't have to make a large initial investment to even try it. I've put hundreds of hours into games I would never consider buying/playing before Game Pass, it's revolutionary. I need to find 1 game I really like every 4 months to make it a value with the cost of games rising, and I generally find a few a month I really like.

At the end of the day, if people are enjoying the games they're playing, what's it to you? For my money, the PS5 is not a next gen console based on the type of output it's giving. Can't play launch titles at 4K/30FPS is a very scary thing. Assassin's Creed is running at 4K/60FPS on the Series X. What types of concessions will they have to make for games in a couple years? They'll need to release a "Pro" version by 2022. No one has actually SEEN a working PS5 or the OS or anything. There's SO MANY red flags for the system right now, I'm not touching it. You're welcome to buy it and play God of War Ragnarok to your heart's content, won't make me enjoy Hellblade 2 less.

Sony is resting on it's laurels so far with the entire PS5 and certain people in this comments thread show there is a brand loyalty to them which some follow like a cult. The great leader tells no lies and does no wrong. They haven't done a player-friendly thing in years. Sony has no profitable business other than the PlayStation division, and it's starting to show how much they need it to survive as a company.

@KelticDevil Seems Demon's Souls will also be on PC and Forbes says it will also be on other consoles, but I don't believe the last part.

They did not do anything in that presentation to change my mind from the PS5 is just a PS4 Pro with a new hard drive.

I do not understand how Sony can put out a new system that can't run games in 60FPS unless it's 1080p and justify selling it to people.

@MAC26 Hoping the game 2K is working on is similar. While I'm at it, I'll ESPN NFL 2K5, NCAA Football games, and All-Pro Football to my list. And MVP Baseball 2005.

@pip_muzz Just finished Quantum Break last night, what a treat.

All the Prince of Persia games, Mirror's Edge, the Fable titles, Stubbs the Zombie, the original Xbox gen Mortal Kombat games (at least Armageddon) and Lord of the Rings games, Max Payne 1&2, etc etc etc.

And I came here to vote for Colors. Feels bad.

It's literally the reason I'm buying an Xbox Series X first. I need my 4K Blinx, SW: KOTOR, and Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, as well as those pretty pretty new textures for FF13. And Red Dead 1 looks like a full remaster on it. To play RDR1 on the PS4/5, I had to get PSNow and stream it, which ran HORRIBLY and looked like garbage. I'm a collector, so I have a lot of these games and I...still need to play them because I'm also an idiot.

De Blob 2 is v good and Armed and Dangerous is a hidden gem for the original Xbox. Glad to see it will reach a new audience.

I'm hoping for xCloud via the browser, similar to Stadia, but I don't know if that's really "Game Pass" related but to for any specific game? Guess we'll see.

As someone who does not have a One X, the Series X is my first venture into true 4K gaming. I have a PS4 Pro but that's mostly faux 4K.

I also have been going around buying up original Xbox and 360 games on the backwards compat list, excited to see how they look in 4K.

And here I thought I was sitting on a gold mine to sell my physical copy.

I will continue my boycott of the game that looks like poo.

Demon's Souls on the PS5 has already stated you can either play it 4K/30FPS or take a resolution hit to play it 60FPS and the system isn't even out yet, which is a terrible look.

Initially, I thought they said it would also play the current backwards compat original Xbox and 360 games. Any word on those, as a weirdo who has been buying up cheaper games for the older systems to play with that sweet sweet XB1X enhancement.
