As someone who has bought every modern MK game 2 to 3 years after release when the "Komplete" version is $15.... Fool me once, shame on you, fool me 6 times (including Injustice), shame on me.

Adding a WoW sub to Game Pass's benefits would be very nice even without it coming to consoles. Worth mentioning the game is in a better place now than it has been in a very long time.

Lord, these idiots don't know how to run a business at all. The prices jumping to $70 have already shown a negative impact on sales, so their thought is, "What if we raise prices more!" Embarrassing.

This could be a good opportunity to try having multiple writers give their thoughts on a game. I've seen other publications so this for the big releases and find it works well. Which isn't to say your thoughts aren't valid, it's good to have contradictions, but I'm gonna just assume you're not the only writer at Hookshot playing Indy.

I haven't tried it in the Fire Stick but I've had a few fire sticks in my life and they have never performed particularly well, even when using Netflix or whatnot. Just a cheap, underpowered device.

My launch original Xbox was DOA, so that was fun, but my 360, woof. My Xbox One S and Series X have been incredibly reliable devices thus far. I have a couple original Xboxes around still nowadays that still work well though.

At the beginning, Halo. Got a 360 to stay on that zone but played mostly the Wii and PS3 that gen. Bought a One S to get a 4K Blu-ray player after getting a 4K TV, then found out about the backwards compatibility and stuck with it thus far.

Botany Manor and Another Crab's Treasure are two I've been looking forward to.

Latency is the most important part for me because that can make games unplayable.

Company I work for has been full remote since 2020, has sold multiple office buildings, has had growth year-over-year, and makes significantly more money than Rockstar but I guess they don't own their office space and are paying for it so why not force the people in when there's layoffs industry-wide and they have no bargaining power.

People just want to find something to complain about

I don't think making a single-player shooter "in today's market" is a bad idea, as can be shown from numerous successes in that space. But making one that is boring is never a good idea.

Perhaps news on ActiBlizz games coming to Game Pass. Or a bundle with WoW and Game Pass 🤔

I bought my Xbox One S to play 4K blu-rays because my PS4 Pro didn't. Then I remembered how much I preferred the controller, then Game Pass happened, and the backwards compatibility and now I'm an Xbox guy.

@AlwaysPlaying we've lost something like 30 games this year alone that aren't even old platforms, the servers were just shut down. It's a mess 😩

Skipped school for Halo 2, myself

Just played through the free update in 23 (using the Game Pass trial) and was pining for the days when I could take Malta through all the qualifiers and all the way to a World Cup win. It's truly a shame all these national teams are missing, as well as the qualifying stages. I would gladly pay full price for a game of just that.

To use their own game, the NBA 2K is partly designed to make more money after the user purchases it. Depending on how you play it, it is loaded with microtransactions. If you up the user base, you have more chances to get that money. The Show has seen this to be the case.

Other games without these microtransactions, of course it doesn't make sense.
