Re: Xbox To Host Gamescom 2022 Livestream Later This Month

Bleachedsmiles

@themightyant No the 12 month window each year needs to be set from June to June…otherwise what’s the point of selling the event as ‘everything we show going forward is coming out in a year’. It needs to be this every year now to hope to add surprise AAA releases to that.
Games always get delayed, but you’d think they’re finally learning. Xbox are going to have so many games they’ll soon be able to afford to sit on them (like Nintendo do) and ensure they don’t have any big gaps going forward. I mean you’d think cod is going to sort out their big holiday release alone. So hopefully the games will be at a point now where the ones they do announce releasing within that June-June window are all already at the polishing stage.
It will be pretty embarrassing if next June everything they show we don’t know about yet, or games like hell blade and avowed etc are shown to be coming out before June 24 …and still can’t get across the finish line

Re: Xbox To Host Gamescom 2022 Livestream Later This Month

Bleachedsmiles

@elpardo1984 And then what we get is the same plot as every other year…it’s a boring read- games now delayed to next year.

I reckon most of us think Xbox must have something from their studios coming out next year…more than likely the second half of the year. More than likely hellblade 2. I’d love to see more of it now…but, weighing it up, I’d much rather Xbox have an awesome ‘e3’ each and every year with surprise announcements that aren’t cg trailers of games that won’t even come out this gen…I’m over the whole smoke and mirrors than has become Xbox’s MO.
This Junes show was really flat because we had seen and known of most of the titles. Waited already too long for most of them.
There were very few surprises…no AAA first party surprise announcements.
The only pay off Junes show gets is if they stick with it…don’t show anything that’s coming out beyond that window they’ve already revealed.
Next June then is stacked with us seeing gameplay for the first time, and learning of games for the first time…all under the banner that they’re releasing within the next 12 months.
Next years gamescom then also adds more value than this years because we get to see more of these new games that are still completely fresh to us…rather than games that have been shown for years already. Builds on the hype a lot more effectively. Keeps the games in the narrative till release.

But it only works if they keep with that cycle.

Re: Xbox To Host Gamescom 2022 Livestream Later This Month

Bleachedsmiles

We really don’t want any major surprises now. We want them to keep to the commitment of what ever they show going forward is released within 12 months…otherwise June was pointless.
Next June is when we want the major surprises…with the bonus of knowing we will no longer have to wait years to play these games.

Re: Talking Point: Is It Time For Xbox To Introduce A New Dashboard?

Bleachedsmiles

UI layout is fine for me. There’s so much going on I really can’t see how blades would benefit that rather than making things need a couple of Additional moves to get to.

What I would like them to do is fix any and all broken apps and links within the UI. I’ve lost count of the amount of times I’ve clicked on something and it’s opened something else. Or on rewards page I’ve pressed to go back and it’s reopened bing or something.

Re: Talking Point: How Would You Compare The New PS Plus To Xbox Game Pass?

Bleachedsmiles

I’m subbed to both gamepass and ps extra.

Extra has a treasure trove of games there if you’re new to the PlayStation eco system. Most games have been carried over from PsNow.
The next gen offerings are pretty limited on extra. You’ve Returnal, Spider-Man miles morales, demon souls remake, and the directors cuts of death stranding and Ghosts of Tsushima, for first party offerings.

It’s a decent start. And the addition of stray releasing day 1 was welcomed.

It’s not all sunshine and roses though…

It’s nowhere near as intuitive as gamepass… in fact it’s pretty messy and confusing.
The first tab on the ps5 dashboard is the PlayStation plus extra tab. You click on it and there are 3 sub menus…
Latest - shows latest games…but also seems mainly used to try and sell you premium
Benefits - again, mainly used to try and sell you premium
Collections - this is where you can go through the different genres. This also has the ‘classics catalogue’ which is locked behind premium.
Games - which lumps together PlayStation extra and PlayStation premium games…meaning if you’re only on extra (like I am) you won’t be able to play some of these.

You need to be upgraded to premium to be able to stream games…so things like stay ect have to be downloaded first before you try if on extra.

I think extras first month, where they needed to have a huge content dump, was always going to be its strongest. It’s already apparent not as many games are going to get placed on it throughout a month as gamepass gets. And when you hear stories of gamepass paying so many millions for the likes of guardians of the galaxy etc…it’s hard to see how extra and premium are going to compete getting the newer AAA third party releases.
I think one day they’ll be forced to add day 1 first party releases.
I think it’s going to be interesting to see how extra and premium end up effecting the quality of plus going forward too. Right now it’s having a pretty strong month funnily enough.

I personally prefer gamepass. On a technical level it’s just more accessible, less confusing to what you do and don’t have access to. Offers streaming. Offers more content…and offers it more often.
But also they have the golden ticket of being able to offer AAA day 1 releases. Though we’ve endured the wait for them to properly capitalise on that promise, I don’t doubt they will, Sony are going to find it really hard to compete with gamepass

Re: Xbox Game Pass Will Reach 100M Members Thanks To ActiBlizz & Cloud Gaming, Claims Pachter

Bleachedsmiles

@UltimateOtaku91 They’ve been pretty clear since the dawn of gamepass that this is the plan. If they could get gamepass on Nintendo and PlayStation they would…they can’t, so Xbox console has to exist for now. But once they have gamepass as an app on every tv, have it on every console, have it everywhere Netflix is today…I’d be very surprised if there’s still a dedicated console. I do look forward to seeing where the Xbox fanboys migrate to though…Sony or Nintendo…if one of them is not a 3rd party publisher by that point and the new console on the block is a Tencent one

Anyway, what did you think ‘Netflix of games’ meant?

Re: Hands On: Turbo Golf Racing - Good Fun In Short Bursts With Xbox Game Pass

Bleachedsmiles

@Markatron Paying for early access isn’t great - games like anacrusis are unplayable…and we’re charged real life money for that.
But…then with early access you could at least argue there’s a chance of quality there, a chance of pay off. You look at a game like grounded and you can see how early access has benefitted it. I still don’t believe it should be part of a subscription service. A subscription service should offer finished, playable, games. But at least I can see an argument of future value there for gamepass because of it.

But then on you get games like Disney dream light that was on Wednesday reported to be coming to gamepass early access. This is a f2p game…that we are being charged for to play early. And all the article commented on was how it looked nice.

I’m not going to be surprised as this becomes more and more common.
It’s just almost funny that it took so long for Xbox to let us play f2p games without the online paywall (the last platform to do so)…yet then start sticking them in a different subscription and the question isn’t even thought of being raised.

…and yet, if Disney dream light wasn’t coming to gamepass as early access…but was still a f2p game charging players the opportunity to play it early…I wonder if pure Xbox would have raised eyebrows…or if purexbox would have still just reported on it having decent graphics?

Re: Split/Second Dev: The Game Doesn't Need A Remaster, It's Still Great On Xbox

Bleachedsmiles

@Gloki_junior I wish someone with connections to Xbox would ask them what the reason behind PGR not being backward compatible. I can only assume it’s a licensing issue and they won’t support it because they know they can’t put it on the store and make money from it. Which is annoying as I’d love to be able to just pop my disc in. Same with Blur. We’ll probably never see new additions to either.

Re: Hands On: Turbo Golf Racing - Good Fun In Short Bursts With Xbox Game Pass

I imagine the comparison of Rocket league to this will do more harm than good for its success. Rocket league is so much more than bashing into a ball. And really comes into its own as a team game.
I’ve not played this yet but from what I’m getting from it it doesn’t seem to carry that same depth in skill levels, nor those extra branches of gameplay that team play offers.

Maybe they should think about releasing this as f2p cross gen as soon as possible

And also, maybe Xbox can stop the bs that is adding early access/game preview/f2p games to a subscription they’re charging us for. This is becoming more and more common. And, other than myself, I never see anyone care much about it… yet all benefitted from them finally (out of need to win back good will) releasing f2p games from the Xbox live gold paywall… only to now start adding them to another subscription…and be praised for it more than anything. Crazy.

Re: Pick One: What's Your Favourite 'Free' Game On Xbox Right Now?

Bleachedsmiles

Easily rocket league. Spent an unhealthy amount of time playing rocket league since it first hit psplus back in 2015. Paid several years worth psplus for the main reason of being able to play it online before it went f2p.
It’s my favourite most played game of last gen by quite some margin.

Rocket league is so good it survives the worse community I’ve ever known.

Re: Microsoft Defends Activision Blizzard Deal With Eyebrow-Raising Statement

@NEStalgia The way I see it… the wiiU wasn’t a success not due to the games, and their being no demand for them…but due to the hardware, and the way it was marketed. The fact that they rereleased so many wiiU games on the switch…shows there was demand for the games.

If anything I’d suggest Nintendo exclusives sell well despite of the hardware…not because of it. The switch had weak hardware. Limited performance. And well documented faulty joycons.
Again, nobody is buying the switch for the few AAA multi platform games on it - Witcher 3 on switch never sold as well as it did on ps4. yet there’s how many millions more switch consoles sold over ps4s and Xbox’s?
This tells me the fact that the switch is also handheld isn’t enough of an attraction to play these AAA multiplat games on it.
Instead it’s Nintendo games that always sell the best. This should tell us what the main thing is people are using the switch for…and show the importance exclusives have been to Nintendo. People aren’t buying the switch to not play Nintendo games on it.
I think you also underestimate the appeal of Nintendo ip. I mean, they’ve literally built a mario theme park. Merchandise is everywhere.

The switch is the biggest selling console of last gen. Is still selling more than this gens consoles today. The most popular game in the world is still Fortnite right? Do you think fortnite is being played more today on switch than on ps4?

Tbh, the focus on ‘well exclusives didn’t sell wiiU so there for exclusives no longer sell consoles’ makes such little sense when you’re too eager to ignore nintendos failing to get the wiiU recognised in the market as a stand alone console…and that you have no idea how many wiiUs sold because off the back of Nintendo exclusives being on it…compared to how many because of its hardware alone…that I’ve honestly no idea what point you’re trying to make with it?

‘Exclusives sell hardware’ is not only still relevant now but also crosses over more so to ‘exclusives sell subscriptions’ - as the concept of ‘gaming platforms’ change.
But ‘exclusives sell hardware’ doesn’t translate to ‘multi platform 3rd party games worthless’. Cod fifa Fortnite etc are going to sell hardware. But aren’t going to have you choose one platform over the other…unless that platform offers something the other doesn’t.
Sony the other day tried to stop the activision deal going through. Why? They already know they’re likely still going to be getting call of duty. What they will
Lose though is the marketing for it…and everything that has come with that marketing deal…not only the advertising perception that cod is exclusive, but the actual exclusive extras cod has on PlayStation. Getting maps early. Getting game modes exclusive for a year etc…it all sways casual gamers to opt to play cod on PlayStation over Xbox.
Same with Fortnite..what’s gamepass currently doing to try and get Fortnite players invested in gamepass? Exclusive perks. Same with league of legends…exclusive perks to gamepass of an already hugely popular game.
Exclusives are so important…even if the concept of exclusives changes… from out and out exclusives, to timed exclusivity, to exclusive additional extras like skins and perks. Exclusivity keeps getting invested in because it brings in customers. This seems pretty obvious to me.

Re: Calico Gets Review Bombed On Xbox, Dev Calls For 'Better Moderation'

Bleachedsmiles

@JayJ heh that’s pretty interesting…you’re fine pointing flaws in my thinking…yet I’m ‘gaslighting’ when I point out flaws in yours? Things sudden make more sense now.

My ‘concept of a valid review’…I dunno man, I know what I expect to get from reviews…when I read a review on here it’s not a novel outlandish expectation that the reviewers played more than 30mins of the game and is capable of giving a critical opinion on it. I reckon we live in different worlds.

And I’ve no idea why you still think reviews with some validity would mean no option for feedback in general…I’ve never suggested such.

Re: Calico Gets Review Bombed On Xbox, Dev Calls For 'Better Moderation'

Bleachedsmiles

@JayJ tbh what you write makes very little sense.

For one…how are you to know if a game lasts 100’s of hours if the reviewer has only invested 30mins in it? In your preferred scenario you, as a casual gamer, then ends up buying a game that isn’t at all suited to your needs.

Why do you have this weird point of view that those that complete a game must be a fanatic about that game? So there for their opinion can’t be trusted…yet the kid who hit the start screen and messed around for a few minutes can tell you it’s a 10/10 and have you spend your money?

It’s all very odd.

But yes, gaming is supposed to be about entertainment and enjoyment. Your time is precious. The point of reviews are to be informative so you don’t waste that time. And you gain the most enjoyment out of a game that’s right for you.

Re: Microsoft Defends Activision Blizzard Deal With Eyebrow-Raising Statement

Bleachedsmiles

@NEStalgia I don’t really understand what argument you’re trying to make? See you can focus on the wiiU all you like as being a failure…I still find it hard to believe that exclusive games did sell more units of that console than having a second screen did. Plenty bought a switch for Zelda. Plenty bought a switch for Animal crossing.
Plenty bought a switch for mario kart.
I find it hard to believe the fact that the switch is a handheld sold more units than Nintendo games did.

I bought an NES for mario bros
I bought a mega drive for sonic
I bought an N64 for mario 64
It was golden eye that convinced my mate to get one.
GTA 3 lead me to get a ps2
Dead or Alive 4 an Xbox
Gears of war an Xbox 360
Infamous a ps4
Quantum break an Xbox one
Gamepass and the promise of 1st party exclusives an Xbox series x
And the promise of Sonys future first party support a ps5.

The games may change but I personally don’t know anyone who’s ever bought a console without a game in mind they want to play on it. And I don’t know anyone who’s not had exclusives sway them to initially choose one over another.
I think you may have taken things too literally and think I’ve looked into the mind of everyone on the planet and out right claim that every single one of them bought consoles throughout their lives because of the exclusive games on them. I’m not suggesting this. But I find it hard to believe exclusives haven’t sold more units of hardware throughout every generation than simply the hardware itself.

Consoles are generally a committed investment. That try and get you locked into their eco system. It could be argued that exclusives are less important once there… if you’re spending hundreds and invested that time you’re more likely to stay with them.
Subscription services are indeed asking for your investment on a monthly bases…so content becomes key. And exclusives become even more important because they want you staying subscribed beyond that first/second/third month…they want to keep you not have you drop in and out. And the best way to keep you is by offering what the other subscription services do not.

The barrier of entry for gamepass isn’t a £450 console. That’s the point.

As for fifa or cod…the day that’s exclusive to a subscription platform is the day you’ll see subs rise on the platform it’s on. Cod hits gamepass day 1 you’re crazy if you think that’s not going to bring the numbers of subs up…why do you think they invested so much for it? Long as the only subscription service cod is on is gamepass they really don’t care you can play it on Xbox or PlayStation. This doesn’t make it being exclusive to gamepass any less meaningful… not when it saves you £70.

Re: Calico Gets Review Bombed On Xbox, Dev Calls For 'Better Moderation'

Bleachedsmiles

@JayJ See you’ve just highlighted one of the main problems…confusing reviews and feedback. Majority of ‘reviews’ on Xbox consist of feedback… “This game is broke” “graphics suck” “this game crashed”. My ‘imposed’ requirements (suggestion) of having people who have completed the game be able to leave reviews would give a chance to offer more in-depth opinions on the actual game…with the added value that you know they’ve not just spent 10 minutes on it.
A feedback section would be separate.

Also, people generally possess an ability to form more of an opinion than ‘this is good’ after they’ve completed a game. Most can function enough thought to put into words why they thought it was good - what they liked about it.
Most people also don’t come away from every game they complete with the mindset “this is a 10/10”:.. maybe you do? But there’s plenty of games I’ve completed that would fall into the 7/8/9 bracket. Just because I complete a game doesn’t mean I’m a blind fanatic to that game and can’t recognise what I liked and what I didn’t like. What a very odd thing to suggest.

Last game I completed was As Dusk falls. Played to completion. Enjoyed my time with it. It’s a solid 7 for me…because, though I enjoyed it, I can recognise its faults. Recognise what I would have liked it to do better. You’re telling me you’ve never had the ability to do this with any game you’ve completed? They’ve all been 10’s??!

A review of a game that’s only played for 30mins holds more value to you than reading one off somebody who’s played the game to completion? Bet countless gaming sites wished that held true for all of us.

Re: Back 4 Blood 'Children Of The Worm' Expansion Brings New Story Campaign To Xbox

@Markatron Agree with a lot of what you wrote. It definitely lacks the charm and personality of L4D. And that carries over throughout the games characters and environments.

I wouldn’t say it’s a bad game though. There’s still fun to be had. And it’s certainly above others of this kind… the likes of evolved, extinction etc
The card system had some potential.

Hopefully Redfall was find that L4D magic and build on it in a more inspired and unique way.

Re: Microsoft Defends Activision Blizzard Deal With Eyebrow-Raising Statement

Bleachedsmiles

@NEStalgia This assumes those that did buy the WiiU bought it for what reason if not Nintendo games? To play third party on it?

Just because the wiiU didn’t sell well doesn’t mean that it didn’t sell off the back of Nintendo games being on it.
Are you suggesting that the wiiU numbers would have been the same if those Nintendo games were also on Xbox and PlayStation?

The switch has also been a largely adopted secondary console. It has the distinction of being a handheld too…but without the Nintendo games would it really have sold as well? Are the best selling games on it 3rd party ports that are also on the other consoles? Outside of indies do multi platform games ever sell better on the switch than they do on the other platforms?
I don’t believe so. Generally there’s always a Nintendo game in the top ten.

Features of course help console sales. But they’ve never pushed hardware sells the way the games do. There’s been so many consoles over the decades with more features, more power etc than what was currently on the market, that haven’t had the games and failed because of it.

Exclusives are more important now than ever. Exclusives are hugely invested in and used to sell every subscription service currently fighting for your money - prime has its own exclusives, Netflix has its own exclusives. Apple, now tv, paramount, Hulu…etc why? They all offer different features…prime offers the ability to get fast free shipping - that’s quite a selling point. They’re still investing billions in exclusive content.
Gaming will be no different. Starfield is exclusive for a reason…that reason is gamepass.

The day gamepass goes on PlayStation, and PlayStation doesn’t have its first party on Xbox… I know I’ll personally sell my Xbox series x…even though I love the features it offers over the ps5 I don’t value those features to be worth £450

Likewise, I don’t value the ps5s features alone to be worth £450…I invested in a ps5 for the promise of the first party games. I’m sure I’m not alone in that?

Re: Elden Ring Apparently 'Took Over YouTube' During The Launch Window

Bleachedsmiles

Love this game. I reckon it will be my GOTY for sure. There’s so many layers to the game. Currently 67hours in still discovering new things. It reminds me just as much of playing breath of the wild as it does Demon souls. The freedom you have now makes it so much more accessible.

I’ve currently no Wi-Fi so I’ve been playing this offline from the start - which is a first for me with ‘soul’ games. It’s actually added quite a bit to the sense of discovery and surprises…that are often spoilt by various messages leading you by the hand.

I’ve definitely struggled though. And have turned to YouTube for some of the more obscure stuff I’ve encountered.

Re: Microsoft Defends Activision Blizzard Deal With Eyebrow-Raising Statement

Bleachedsmiles

@NEStalgia I gotta disagree…Nintendo games always sell the hardware first in my opinion. If it was simply down to a thirst for handhelds the 3DS wouldn’t have sold so much more than the vita. And the vita 2 would have come to market by now.

I think the wiiU had a specific problem for the wiiU - it was marketed so badly that people still today think it’s an add-on for the wii …rather than a full standalone console. The units it actually did sell were more than likely off the back of the exclusive Nintendo games it had…rather than for the hardware capabilities itself.

Nintendo haven’t cared about competing in terms of power since the GameCube. In fact throughout most generations it’s rarely been the ‘most powerful’ console that has sold the best.

Re: Soapbox: Forza Horizon Is Spinning Its Wheels, So Let's Bring Back The Best Racer On Xbox

Bleachedsmiles

@Lanmanna The story, animation, character models, writing for radio DJs, are all more prominent now than they were in 1/2/3…particularly the first two.
They’re all the weakest part of the game for me.

The environment is gorgeous. The cars are gorgeous. But playground games have very little to do with the cars. What is all them are the character models (which, like I said, are more prominent part of the game). And the animation that goes with them.

I never said I’ve lost faith in their ability to make a new fable because of character models alone. There’s plenty of an uphill battle for playground games - they have no experience in making a 3rd person western rpg. The character models, animations, writing, they have shown me they’re capable of so far…is just adding to already existing concerns on if they’re right for the job.

I get character models weren’t their focus in a racing game…but when it’s all I have to go off…put it this way, I wouldn’t be surprised if the world looks nice in fable but the character models looks ropey.

Re: Microsoft Defends Activision Blizzard Deal With Eyebrow-Raising Statement

Bleachedsmiles

@UltimateOtaku91 This comment rarely holds much water. I’ve seen it a few times.
It never ever takes into account how many people use the switch as a secondary console… in which case they’re likely playing games like cod, fifa, madden ect else where.

It also insinuates that COD isn’t a hardware seller…when it has been for generation and still is today. It doesn’t take into account that the casual audience, that makes up the majority of a consoles install base, buy into what they know…and what their friends are playing. One of the few games they buy is cod. So having that day 1 on gamepass is a pretty big deal…that could only be rivalled by having fifa day 1 on a subscription service I reckon. And I guess gamepass effectively has that too to some extent.

What the switch has proved is that exclusives sell hardware.

Re: Microsoft Defends Activision Blizzard Deal With Eyebrow-Raising Statement

Bleachedsmiles

This has all been so good to read and a true insight into the gaming landscape today.
Hot off the heels of Phil Spencer saying how much he’s looking forward to God of War…and all the swooning that gathered from the Spencer faithful cheering the ‘console wars dead’… we got to see PlayStations desperate attempt to try and block them getting Activision…and now we get to see Xbox play it down as they’re desperate to get Activision, showing us once again…for all Phil Spencer’s promoting other platforms games that are out the month he’s failed, yet again, to give his own platforms something first party to play…xbox really are desperate to be competitive this gen.

I mean most knew the moves with all the acquisitions Xbox aren’t content with being last place this gen…the want gamepass adopted by everyone, and understand you actually need AAA for that. But it is nice to get a glimpse behind Phil Spencer’s public facing smile, and see that behind the scenes he’s not content with just being a cuck.

For all the eye rolling hand holding let’s be friends stuff… that’s great, you want to believe that progresses gaming and benefits gamers then good luck to ya.
Console wars for me benefits gamers…and this is going to breed more competitiveness…which means they’re going to fight over my money…and try harder ensuring quality products.

Re: Soapbox: Forza Horizon Is Spinning Its Wheels, So Let's Bring Back The Best Racer On Xbox

Bleachedsmiles

It’s so annoying that PGR 3/4 aren’t backwards compatible with the series consoles… amazing games. Racing games must be a minefield when it comes to licensing… I’d love to be able to play Blur again too. But wouldn’t licensing only be an issue if they sold the games again on the store? Is licensing really an issue if they just gave us the ability to play the discs we already own?

Re: Soapbox: Forza Horizon Is Spinning Its Wheels, So Let's Bring Back The Best Racer On Xbox

Bleachedsmiles

@Grumblevolcano Yeah I feel exactly the same - fh5/4 are prettier than the previous Forza horizons…but haven’t been as engaging for me mostly because of the extra live service push that clutters the menus, effect the sense of progression. The constant wheel spins Interrupting gameplay…the constant credits being thrown around like I’m some gambling crackhead.
The poorly written forced in story and radio stations…forcing in uninspired quests to open new sites for festivals whilst radio stations overact enthusiasm about how amazing this mystery driver is…as you ruin someone’s fence.

I also don’t particularly enjoy online now…where once you get to a race you really need to have upgraded and tuned every class of car to have a chance of a fair game. Everything else in the game is dumbed down for ‘accessibility’…and then you join an online race and you realise you should have actually been making use of customising your car…even though the game spends so much of its time throwing cars at you, teaching you you never need to look at tunings etc.
Fh 1/2/3 I spent ages in tuning. It was a big part of the game for me. FH4/5 not so much.

FH feels like it should be a mobile game at times. And for all it’s good looks, it’s hard not to see that the animation and character designs are pretty damn basic… which, tbh, doesn’t have me as enthused as others that playground games are working on a fable…not when you add poor writing and lack of experience (in 3rd person rpgs)into the mix.

Re: Talking Point: How Often Do You Use Your Xbox To Watch TV In 2022?

Bleachedsmiles

More now than ever…as for some reason I can’t get Disney+ on my tv and DAZN no longer works on it… I’m sure there’s some sort of ploy going on to stop apps working on ‘smart tvs’ once they get a few years old.

Funnily enough…never watched Netflix on Xbox

Edit* since I wrote this I’ve now got a message on my NowTV app saying that it’s no longer going to be supporting my 6 year old 4k LG tv either come September…so looks like I’ll be watching tv via Xbox even more.
They definitely prematurely stop the use of apps to convince you to get new tvs. I’m convinced of it.

Re: Halo Infinite Received 'Significant' Open World Changes During Development

Bleachedsmiles

Basically they twiddled their thumbs for too long. Why oh why would anyone suggest halo have crafting? …unless it was to repair a ship - a way to shoehorn in fetch quests.

End of the day these guys had the luxury of a HUGE budget to play with…a delay of a full year… and still had to cut down on scope, and ended up delivering a still unfinished product.

I really enjoyed halos open world parts. Best part of the game for me. I loved the mobility the hook gave. I think the AI is still some of the best in gaming. As is the gun play.

But…343 have shown it’s time for someone else to have a crack at halo now. Xbox have plenty of studios that could do so much more with that licence…it’s time
