@pip_muzz It's worth trying if you ever have the opportunity. I have the exact same issue with all 3D glasses, but the only issue I've ever had with PSVR headset and glasses is getting the whole thing setup and then realising I have a smear on my glasses and needing to take it off again to clean them!

I love my PSVR and think that some console competition from Xbox might potentially convince more devs to get involved. Only if sold well of course...

@pip_muzz Have you tried any of the recent VR headsets? I ask, as I wear glasses and play PSVR with them on all the time. I don't find it uncomfortable at all.

This game is simply brilliant. I have it on PS4 and highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't played it. It combines fabulously tight 2D action gaming with a wicked sense of humour.

I love an arcade sports game but this looks underwhelming. Not keen on the choice of characters either.

On a side note, I have noticed that Pure Xbox and NintendoLife both mention when games are also coming to other machines, while Push Square only ever mentions that a game is releasing on PS4/PS5. I find the latter approach a bit annoying.

My experience of the current Xbox app only extends as far as the store elements, which are frankly bizarre. Hopefully they sort that in the new app.

Shame Riptide is leaving so soon after Hydro Thunder. Thankfully that one is super cheap all the time, so I'll pick it up. Haven't got very far in Everspace, so sorry to see that leave. Ah well.

I would love for them to re-release this game. No changes necessary, just make it available.

I was playing Spider-Man on PS4 Pro the other day and I did think to myself that I don't really need graphics a whole lot better than these, but if I could get rid of the damn loading screens I'd be a happier man!

Have Crimson Skies on my Xbone and it still plays really well. Great game.

Sad to see Hydro Thunder go. Will have to but that at some point. Own enough copies or KOF98 for that one not to hurt too much.

At this point it would seem pretty poor if a dev can't at the very least offer a 60Hz option at a lower than max resolution, even if the game display at higher res/lower FPS by default.

I have been wondering whether more and more games will offer graphical settings in the next generation. It seems to make sense for there to be options like...

1080/120 vs 4K/60 or 1080/60 vs 4K30

I voted KOTOR as a game of that style could benefit from some modernised mechanics. The Burnout games were mostly perfect as they were, the only real advantage of a remaster would be having them on a new system.

I voted for Bully. Skate 3 is a fantastic game but I still play it on Xbone and I don't see how it really needs remastering at all, as it holds up perfectly well now as it is.

Yakuza Kiwami on Xbox One, Astro Bot on PS4, R-Type Dimensions on Switch, Choplifter on Master System and Quackshot on Mega Drive.

I get the impression that this series needed a break. It would be good if the 'different' game was something more akin to WWE All Stars on 360/PS3. I am not interested in wrestling itself, but do enjoy a good silly arcade wrestling game, especially if it features wrestlers from when I was a kid (Hulk Hogan, Ultimate Warrior, Roddy Piper, Big Boss Man, Jake the Snake, Andre the Giant etc).

@Bmartin001 I was playing Rocky on the Gamecube last week. Still great fun. The number of bottles flying into the ring in the first story mode fight is hilarious!

This has happened to me a few times in the past but I noticed it was pretty bad last night with at least half a dozen tiles black.

I wish they would keep UI's simple. The latest Xbox one is too ADHD for my liking, I don't need 5,000 things thrown at me from different directions, I want tabs/pages for games, media and settings and everything to be simple, clear and fast. I wish I could configure my Xbone to default to the All Games and Apps page (and the Groups section at that). The Home screen is just a mess.

The Switch one would be about perfect for me if they just added some form of folders.

I have always wondered why games that aren't technically demanding don't ever run above 1080P on Xbox One S, given the fact that it can output 4K video. I wondered if it was somehow blocked, but this confirms that it is not. Interesting.

@gingataisen Is it really though? I'm not questioning the idea that people will buy an Xbox to play Halo, but I mean a game that makes millions and millions of people decide to choose Xbox over PS. The fact that it will also be available on Xbox One and the devs said they're "building it so it plays and looks fantastic" on Xbone and will have "enhancements" on the new Xbox, makes me doubt that it will be a complete system seller. They need more than just Halo to make the Series X a huge success I reckon.

I saw quite a good one about a DOOM Eternal arcade machine on Arcade Heroes.

Yeah, this game may run in 4K/120 but it's pretty ugly all the same. I love the Ecco games but this hasn't got me convinced.

In the end it is all about the games. Microsoft has done well to buy up some talented studios, they will need some truly top tier exclusives and one absolute system seller would really help.

As someone who owns games consoles that are 35 years old, I worry about controllers and handhelds that have non-removable batteries in them. I have always been happy that my Xbox One controller uses rechargeable AA batteries as I always have a second pair charged up ready (beats having to plug my PS4 controller in).
