@theduckofdeath I understand what you are saying, but heres something to think about.

I live in China and over here almost EVERYONE games, young and old, consoles are not really a thing. But what is is PC/Phones and Tablets, yes you will every now and then see a switch on the subway, but it's very rare. It's not that anyone over here is against consoles, it's just that no one really uses a TV anymore...

My thoughts are maybe Microsoft will turn all their games into 1 year exclusives on the xbox/pc and then go to Playstation. If this happens, they can buy even more studios for gamepass without getting tons of backlash.

I have a feeling what Microsoft wants to do is create their own applestore/steam with their gamepass/xbox namebrand. But to be able to actually compete with these two powerhouses, they will need lots and lots of developers under their control.

Consoles will not be around forever, honestly, I think there may be one more generation left after this. The future is digitial and those digital games will be able to played anywhere and on anything.

PC/Tablet/Phone/VR/TV/new type of tech

Consoles, sad to say it, will not make a whole lot of sense years down the road as they are locked mostly to just TV's.

I have played through all of the Elder Scrolls games I-V and I have yet to finish Starfield, im 20ish hours into it.

But。。。Skyrim, not only did I watch the trailer like a million times with my little brothers (3 and 5 at the time of the trailer release) but I Skyrim just has such a great feel to it, the music, the setting, the power everything about it. I love Starfield, it might end up becoming my second or third favorite Bethesda game, its super super good. Just wont dethrone Skyrim for me.

2. Daggerfall
3. Morrowind
4. Arena
5. Oblivion

I have not played any of the fallout games or any of the other elder scroll games. But out of the main Elder Scroll games all of them are amazing in their own ways, so even though Oblivion is last, that does not mean that I did not enjoy it immensely. After im 100ish hours into Starfield ill see where it ranks.

So we are getting "The Metal Gear Solid Collection Vol I" which includes

  • Metal Gear Solid
  • Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance Version
  • Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence Version

I assume Vol 2 Will have

  • Metal Gear Solid 4
  • Metal Gear Solid 5
  • Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker (maybe)

I find it interesting that for this remake Konami is calling it Delta and not 3. Maybe they plan on over the next 15 years or so remaking all 5 and maybe even Peace Walker games. If they did this they could essentially drop the numbers and just title them and then release them according to their timelines and maybe properly finish 5.
