From here on out things might get really ugly. If for whatever reason M$ cannot get this deal to go through there will be really bad blood going forward between M$ and Sony.

Redfall looks amazing.. I have never played minecraft before but minecraft legends graphics sure do look clean

14 games from that i want to play... but need to narrow it down to like 5

That one game released in 2023 that sold a lot and won a lot of awards, will be the game of the year for 2023. You know the game most of this board bought and praised that got super high reviews.

It will be fun for a lot of people, but im sure this board will find something to complain about.

So far 12 games I wanna play this year not to mention a few from 2022 i still haven't completed

Cleared Danganronpa last summer, such a fantastic game. Working on 2 but then Persona 5 hit, hahha.

For some odd reason I thought this was coming in November, if it comes out around April or May that would be amazing and a huge surprise for me, hahaha.

Ummm, I dont know anything about this game, but I beat Wind Waker, the pictures above dont look anything like Wind Waker, nor does the art style... Am I missing something?

Nothing can follow the steps of Mario Kart. Not gonna lie, thats the first game I would get if I had a Switch, looks soooooo fun

I know this board likes to complain but i personally love my series S. Here is how I grade it.

Games = A
First party games = C (great quality, but sooo few at two years in)
Third party games = A (so many awesome 3rd party games that never came to other xbox games in the past)
Hardware = A
This is hands down the best built xbox, with backward compatibility, upscaling old games, and can use cross-gen controllers and peripherals.
Future = A
This time, Xbox has so much coming down the line I wont ever be able to play even a quarter of what I want too.

@NEStalgia yeah I’m well aware, hahaha. I’m playing Persona 5 for the first time and love it a lot. I also don’t have a lot of time to game, hahah so I guess we’ll see what happens.

Why is Crisis Core on Xbox but nothing else is? FFVIIR is prolly never coming so why even bother with crisis core port? Does Crisis core have any chance at selling higher than other titles by SE?

What makes zero sense at all is the pixel remaster skipping Xbox digital store all together when it’s coming to EVERYTHING else. PC, Mobile, Sony, Nintendo. Why are other games like tactics ogre battle being outright skipped but coming to everything else? The relationship with SE seems to have changed over the past year and it’s only with Xbox, nothing else. At the same time SE has gotten a lot lot closer to Sony. If anything Sony prolly asked SE to keep most of their games off Xbox platforms and ride on them 100%

The only logical conclusion is Sony. Square-Enid had no problem releasing scores of games, mainline final fantasy and their spin off’s on the Xbox digital store….. it was only until after the Activision-Blizzard buyout announcement that Sony and Square-Enid seemed to get a lot closer. I mean SE isn’t even releasing FF1~6 remasters on Xbox digital store which is extremely odd since they had no problem releasing 7-15

Wait…. goldeneye is now 2023? Why is it taking so long when the game has been finished for 20+ years ?

wanna know why this grown man is crying all the time? Warzone 2 just had 25 million players in 5 days. All this man cares about are all the microtransactions that might shift from PS to Xbox when this deal goes through.

Sonic 3D games always have lots of ambition, cool ideas and game mechanics but they always fall far short of polish. This is what has always separated Sonic from, Mario.

I love my Series S and so do many others. If they can make a game scalable on the PC then could they not to some extent make a scale-downed version of their game? Most games come out on PC nowadays too.

Because they know community content will be more consistent, better in quality, and a higher output than their own efforts

Sony reportedly met with European antitrust regulators to discuss Microsoft's proposed acquisition of Activision Blizzard, according to sources familiar with the matter who spoke with Dealreporter and was reported by Seeking Alpha.

The sources claim PlayStation CEO Jim Ryan met with the European Commission on September 8 to voice his concerns over the deal.

Ryan previously stated Microsoft promised to keep Call of Duty on PlayStation for a further three years beyond the current agreement between Sony and Activision Blizzard. The promise for a further three years according to Ryan is "inadequate on many levels."

The report also stated Google also has its worried over the acquisition and voiced its concerns with the regulators.

Microsoft today filed the Activision Blizzard deal with the European Commission. A provisional deadline of November 8 was set by the regulators to either approve the deal or to choose a more in-depth investigation.

The goal of the investigation by regulators is to decide if the acquisition will reduce competition in the video game market.

The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) in the UK following its initial investigation announced its plans to "explore this deal in an in-depth Phase 2 investigation to reach a decision that works in the interests of UK gamers and businesses."

Part of the problem a lot of people have with gamepass is that they download too many games, and want to complete them all. But for whatever reason they don't have enough time, and a year later complain when they are being removed.

First off, if you are a normal person and work 40ish hours a week you should know yourself that you don't have unlimited play time like maybe you had when you were a kid. You should prioritize your play and then choose what you want to play during that time.

second off, every year there are tons and tons of great game releases that you probably want to play. But if you are like me that is impossible because I work everyday. So dont be like a kid in a toy isle and grab everything knowing full well you dont have enough money to buy them all (or in your case enough time to play them all) so choose wisely.

I get it, theres lots of games that come out every year you want to play, on top of all the games in the past you wanted to play but never got around to playing. So what you need to do is what I do, plan out. If there's a game you know you want to play no matter what, then focus on that game with maybe an indie game on the side and play that until you beat it (or cant stand playing it anymore) and move on. Sure you will miss a lot of other games, but at least you wont have the feeling of regret, sadness or anger because you put your hand in 20 candy jars only to have the doctor tell you, Sir you have diabetes, im gonna have to limit your intake。 Instead of being a game glutton just lower your intake and focus on a few and completing them instead of spending half your Gametime browsing and downloading games you will never finish.

Persona 5 is by far my most wanted game. When the announcement was made it became my most wanted game for this year. This is pretty much the only game I ever wanted to play on the PS systems (and FFVII:R but we dont talk about that anymore) been super stoked every since the announcement.
