Unfortunately this one is not for me … I need so tho g slower and methodical with my old man reflexes

This is my The Alters weekend … it is a bit slow going at the start but nothing that is throwing me off… also doing Powerwash Sim as a palette cleanser. Have a great weekend!

Really don’t think you own that food you just bought… I get it that owning a game lets you hold onto a tangible thing but at the end of the day you just own a game museum … the last time I moved I ended up throwing them into a box and saying “free”…

This is the annual inevitable GP June increase… so no one should be enraged and cancelling their subscription… still the best value in gaming and we be eating good especially when games are $80 now…

Nice! I like a good rogue like… as long as it doesn’t feel like a grind and more of that I need one more run kind of feel… hard balance to make… we’ll hopefully all enjoy this one!

I wanted the greatest leap forward and instead got an uncertain future of an expensive handheld… Glad my series S is working flawlessly so I can wait it out hopefully before I have to make any decisions

@Kaloudz it a farming game …. Seems perfect for you except for the sci-fi part. Maybe if they added a powerwash mini game it would be GOTY?

The business model has changed with GamePass and the sooner the developers realize the better. You cannot just release a game and expect it to sell well as well as be on GP. I am seeing more developers releasing DLC as an additional income. For example today with Still Wakes The Deep. Don’t blame GP but evolve your business model….

The premise of The Alters is so in my sci-fi zone it’s ridiculous… I don’t usually like or play farming sims so hopefully those mechanics are not too oppressive… really high hopes for this one…

Just reminds me how out of sync the views of older gamers who are on this site leaving posts are to the younger gamers who are watching YouTube and Tik Tok … we all want single player RPGs

If the rumors are true fit in there at least 4 Ubisoft games in there as well … and the December big game has not been announced…..

I’m guessing that is why R* delayed GTA6 until 2026 so it can debut on Xbox Gamepass day 1 for the 25th anniversary…

Resident Evil games are 75% off and so I grabbed 4-8 for $40 … two different bundles gold editions … that’s a lot of gaming

That was hard as there were lots of great moments … I picked Apehlion as it was out of left field … I think 2025s show will be remembered for what it left out as much was shown….

More like $799 and $999 these devices will not for the average gamer but a luxury item …

In a different world I would buy this day 1. In this tariff times in Canada, it’s very hard to rationalize this purchase. Seems like a well made product though….

Just a weird aside that I bought Resident Evil 7 and 8 gold bundle at 75% today …. Seemed like a steal

Liked the vibe going on… very dark futuristic but could be today type of feel… came out of. Nowhere…

I gave it a weak B … and I am usually a A+ type of home team rooter. The games were an A but the lack of dates and missing games left me wanting more to give it an A … but hands down the best showcase… and as I said last year it’s interesting that a lot of these games could have been shown at the PS showcase but appeared here instead…

Looked strange but that’s what I want from an indie …. Take a chance and go for it… if they put this off it could be very entertaining… it got our attention at least

Do we know what the Dec game is? Outer Wilds 2 takes the Oct spot… Feels like a banger should drop in Dec….

On the plus side Aphelion, Outer Wilds 2 and Clockwork Revolutions were right up my street… on the minus side was all the potential news we could of had… the handheld will not cheap for the elite one… some interesting AA games that could be good… Grounded 2 caught me by surprise… Final Fantasy but at full price? Should have done a day 1 discount as now I am just waiting for a sale and that’s not good….all in all a solid B but the games themselves get an A

I’m looking forward to a Fable release date, Clockwork Revolution update, something From ABK ( they have to be brewing something??? ) , any shadow drops…

@TapeLoader All I can say is that making AAA games is hard. The resources required are immense and one misstep could financially ruin your company. Even GTA6 can’t give an exact date. At least Xbox when they do give a date it generally dead on….

That is a lot of content coming amazing! @fraserg heard wild rumour that Ubisoft games coming to Gamepass by the end of the year … specifically Star Wars Outlaws, AC shadows, The Crew motorfest and Avatar frontiers of Pandora… heard anything?

When you play on your Switch 2, PS5, Apple smartphone and the first thing you see is a Microsoft logo when you start playing your next new game… does it really matter your device of choice? Let Microsoft Trojan horse themselves everywhere and let’s see where we are at in a few years…

Currently trying to play the monthly 10 games to get my reward points… for my main game it will be Kulebra and then watch the show tomorrow as it is my highlight of the year …. Nothing really touches it show wise … see you in the chat!

Yes, a couple there that I should have played more … Dungeons of H and Kunitugama… stopped playing for no reason other than to free up some disk space for next shiny thing.

The Alters is my most hyped game for June following by the new Lost in Random game… anything else is just gravy at this point…

I want to be kind but To a T is at best a 6/10 and the only reason I am still pushing through is that I am stubborn and it makes me laugh every so often…

Ok - I the guy that thinks that not only is GP sustainable but profitable. The porting of games to PS makes it even more so. MS will raise GP prices on a yearly basis but still makes an enormous amount of money. The fact it is also a great deal to gamers makes it a win win…what I do see is that games in the service are evolving to be longer to complete so that you are more inclined subscribe month after month… it’s no coincidence that these 50+ hour games are showing up in bucketloads
