Went into the Xbox app to see what landed in April and yes an easy A… and mostly in a sneaky good way…. With few bugs as well

@CoolDadTx one of the consequences of Netflix was less movies but more episodic series. At some point we will see the demise of AAA games and more smaller games instead … we already are seeing remakes and remasters instead of new IP’s….

I love this series and can’t wait to back to Pandora and repeat the grind!

To call this sale a “Golden Week” is being disrespectful to gold… maybe I will find a gem in there as I scroll through the infinite amount of sale pages…

Towerborne sounded interesting until I heard it was multiplayer and in game preview so no achievements so I will pass…. Far Cry 4 I will play but after a few other games that came in April … so in reality unlikely as the May games will then pique my interest

Playing on the series S and just finished the tutorial and exploring… not one issue so maybe the S issues are later in the game?

Show a little love to the non Doom games on the list … any other month and we would be oohing and ahhing over them… I will go out on a limb and say Revenge of the Savage Planet will be sneaky good…

Still in the Oblivion tutorial… running around in circles with Blue Prince… enjoying Tempopo for its puzzles … so spoiled for choice but should be a great gaming weekend- enjoy y’all!

Get PS gamers addicted and then cut them off and tell them only on Xbox… standard drug dealer strategy… seriously though… let everyone play no matter your console.

Gamepass is off to a great start to 2025 and that was just the first quarter…. By the time we get to the June showcase we are all going to be exhausted

I’d rather have too much than too few but too much makes me sleep deprived…

Picked up Crime Boss: Rockay City at $5 - I heard it improved … we will see

@themightyant I agree with everything you said … as much as it hurts to say it please delay the shadow drop til next weekend so not to detract. The release calendar must be packed as they try to release everything before Sept…

I have been dipping in and out of games this week … loving South of Midnight, Blue Prince and Tempopo. Did not really like Crime Scene cleaner for some reason … have a fun weekend y’all

You need new IP or the whole ecosystem gets stale… plus your creative types will stay instead of pursuing their own dreams

I reckon everyone can do the math and if it works for you personally. For me it pays for itself with reward points even though I pay monthly…

Hope they make this a wonderful remake… so much so that they do Morrowwind as well….

What a month! Some surprises in there with Dredge but why doesn’t Ubisoft just join Gamepass? This slow burn of their games just undermines value of their own service…

I never really gave any of these games any attention… might try Have a nice Death and the rewinder again but not sure if they are worthy of a second try…

Another AAAA game to avoid… can only hope there is enough people buying this at under $70 to keep away the inevitable did not meet expectations….

Down to one achievement to go for HH but don’t know if I will make it… I can only score this game a 7 mostly based on its great visual style but its second half is a slow crawl of getting to the next cut scene….

Seriously a Perfect Dark surprise date would be incredible….

It’s Harold Halibut as I have just 5 achievements to go… also a little bit of Blue Prince on the side… BP is definitely the evolution of the Escape Room type of game… enjoying the cozy pace as I am only timed so far by my next move….

Let me get through April and I can then talk May …. However Revenge of the Savage Planet talks to me

I really want the Alters to be really good… rooting for that one… Moonlighter 2 could be great… most looked really interesting

The June showcase is really the best show for the year. Now that most games will also be on PS and Switch the actual audience may be the biggest ever. This is the Super Bowl of gaming for me….

So far Avowed and Atomfall but haven’t really played them… try to finish Harold Halibut and then into blue Prince then Atomfall and Avowed … just too much

This game feels like it will not get as much love being sandwiched between Avowed , Atomfall, SOM, Blue prince and Doom… at least in my hierarchy of playing time….

This has been my radar for awhile and super hyped to see what all the fuss is about… a rare gem is coming

Nothing comes to mind as most of the new games are too new to get a good discount… I will know it when I see it…

Looks like a list of fillers as only Blue Prince and South of Midnight are new and shiny for me. Commandos and descenders new are new but not sure they appeal

Harold Halibut is great if you like the point and click genre… which I do. So I feel like I’m about 2/3 done so I will make a final push. Botany Manor was so fun that I actually completed awhile back …

I didn’t get into Monster Train before but really enjoying this time around… a bit grindy but did get me into Dead Cells somehow

As long as they don’t turn Doom into an action RPG souls like … I will be ok

Non issue … if it comes to Xbox or not … not a big deal except we would all like to play all the games day 1.

Potentially best month of Gamepass of 2025 if all the games run true. Blue Prince is my most anticipated…

I will always prize fun game over AAA graphics… so not a deal breaker… however a few bugs so I will keep that in mind when I do play

Cool but this is backlog fodder for me… maybe when I retire….

Any game developer should realistically schedule into that slot as GTA6 will slide later into the year or into 2026… trying to time it otherwise is just a Vegas level gamble… R* doesn’t have to announce the delay as the hype continues if they keep quiet

I even forgot FS was on Gamepass as no one really talks about it… I am sure it’s good now but rather play RPG’s at the moment….

I just want Ubisoft to give in and put all their catalog on Gamepass… it would mean my one person boycott worked and it really is the most sensible idea…

Yawn - backlog way too big to even contemplate…

I’ll play both for the achievements but Atomfall is what I am hyped for… only 3 days away now…

Really looking forward to Atomfall but this is also in my wheelhouse… then the Blue Prince… really eating well at the GP buffet!
