@Savage_Joe I did some research and it appears to me that all versions have the memory leak but the the S having a smaller amount of RAM (10 vs 16 of the X or PS5)?that it crashes very quickly. PS5 users are reporting after long playing times that there are drops in frame rates but not the crashes. Maybe that the dev also put more resources into fixing the issue for the PS and left the S until later… so I can see what you are saying about Xbox in the bottom of the hierarchy….

@Savage_Joe This is all on the devs putting out a buggy mess… and I’m eating well from the so called crumbs… just no moldy ones and I will be happy…

This game could have been bad but all in all a solid game… apart from a few missteps UbiSoft has put out some good games lately… not sure they will ever be able to create a GOTY game in the future though as they are to formulaic

I picked up Gloomhaven as it was on a great sale… haven’t tried it yet but the reviews seemed positive and I like that type of game….

I have been bouncing around Quake, Brotato and Powerwasher Simulator… maybe at the moment I’m just playing games for a short period of time and later I can try to restart Assassins Creed 1

My rational as same as when I got the Starfield DLC:
Got game pass - check
Got reward points to buy it - check
Going to get the DLC anyways - check
Going to love the game- check
= spent no real money and the perk is the early access which I probably will not use but it is a better perk than any other perk

Much easier to test the Xbox and PS versions with the Pc version? Weirdly makes sense…

@somnambulance my guess is that with the heavy discounts, people are trying out SS. Yet Hogwarts still is outperforming and yet WB still cashing in and hopefully learned a lesson but think not….

I enjoyed the previous Lost in Random but that was more of a linear world vs this is a rogue-lite… hope for the best

I started Dungeons of Hindenburg and Journey to the Savage Planet. Got to 80% on Brotato and need to check out the free update to Vampire Survivors… have a gaming weekend!

A movie like this was always going to live/die by how funny it was and the special effects. Seems to be about right in where it landed. The budget for this was never going to be Disney kind of money….

Actually a pretty good sale for RPG - way better than last RPG sales which left us all bewildered…

In the grand scheme of things not an issue as my backlog is what it is. But seriously they should be way more knowledgeable about their game windows than what they appear to be… they are projecting an image that they are a bunch of overpaid clowns supported by our GP subscriptions…..

I have not met a farming game that I like yet so hoping that one eventually clicks with me…

It’s a shrug as who doesn’t have fast internet? And if you have slow internet you are going to deal with it… let them eat their digital cake!

Sounds like this should be on my desert island list as I would have to dedicate a large portion of my life to get see this game played all the way through….

And if you like A short Hike then don’t sleep on Lil Gator on GP it feels like a spiritual successor…

@NEStalgia I’m feeling like you- my backlog of purchased games need to be addressed, some months I really don’t play that much and don’t really have the FOMO for day 1. I’m going to unsubscribe until I need to resub. That’s what I said to Netflix three years ago and still haven’t resubbed…

It’s why I love Brotato so much …. 3 seconds and go right into it… no tutorial just figure it out

Even my plasma TV can’t hide the lack of polish of the graphics… I did enjoy the first case but was very basic… I am going to relegate this to my one achievement a day reward game…

Started to play a bit of MCC Halo 3 with AC1 and Brotato ready to resume when needed. Sitting at 54% achievements so far in Brotato and still enjoying!

A couple of these I have not had a chance to play yet… Everspace and Sea of stars come to mind…

In Canada, the amount of points for a $25 card is around 17K so makes a nice treat. My goal was to get DG2 and BG3 on points and already got one and going so well will try for Cyperpunk as well this year….

Get a Xbox S if your TV is basic but get a X if TV is high end. If you violate this simple rule you will be unhappy at some point. My plasma TV and series S are a great team! And the heat they generate warms the whole house….

There have been plenty of good if not great games but none that have really connected with me yet. The indies have carried the year with Still wakes the deep, Brotato and Balatro for me… 2023 was so good that my backlog is the real winner here…

Anything with the word “Dungeon” in the title will get my hopes up but surprisingly wary about this one… could be the wrong colour palette I keep seeing…

Still wakes the deep and nearing the end … too many missable achievements so at some point will need to do a second run to get that 100%.
