I am sure there are some great games in there but nothing grabbing me yet… maybe my backlog is just too good… but I gave Riders the thumbs up

So close on Brotato at 91% so will keep working on that…. I need a certain achievement on cassette Beasts and then finish off the weekend with Powerwash Sim… have a great weekend of games… it a long weekend in Canada!

I am taking the lack of posts here that there has been a collective I don’t care about this game and it’s broken launch…

Still trying to forget that September was so empty of games that October feels even emptier… overall 2024 has been a great GP year - very happy with my sub…

Didn’t the developers say that Xbox wasn’t a priority and with PC sales like that …. Xbox is not a priority…. So unfortunately it may tell other developers to prioritize Xbox last which has been every Xbox owner worst fear that it is already happening… so I find no joy with this…..also there may have been a shady agreement but still…

@cardcrusher29 yes, ironclad… so much so that all three chapters will have to be on PS before any come to Xbox - if you can afford to lose $200 million on Concorde then what are a few millions elsewhere?

@Elbow As well the full Final Fantasy library is at 60% off … which I think is the lowest it goes for usually but a lot of game for that price….

I thought I saw somewhere in the internet that this was an AAA GOTY contender …. And turns out to be a kids game - too funny….

No way to spin it - September was a lean month so far but thinking a few surprises might come our way…

Well for 10 titles leaving my backlog was spared… none to quickly finish…. All good here!

Just to be clear: the overall, obvious and utterly crystal clear strategy is to make as much money as possible for the shareholders.
If you can sneak in an award or improve something that is an accidental byproduct of the process…

I bought the Starfield premium with reward points … will do the same with Indy… seems like a no brainer for me…

Brotato followed very distantly by Harold Halibut… but enjoyed quite a few GP titles but nothing grabbed me like those two…

Definitely worth the sale price … a cozy game just plain and simple… 8/10

Just bought the last campfire as I enjoy a cozy puzzle game and for the price an incredible steal… about 6 hours in and a solid 8

Even though some of those games are good … September feels like a weak month for me personally… hoping for a surprise as well

@Savage_Joe I did some research and it appears to me that all versions have the memory leak but the the S having a smaller amount of RAM (10 vs 16 of the X or PS5)?that it crashes very quickly. PS5 users are reporting after long playing times that there are drops in frame rates but not the crashes. Maybe that the dev also put more resources into fixing the issue for the PS and left the S until later… so I can see what you are saying about Xbox in the bottom of the hierarchy….

@Savage_Joe This is all on the devs putting out a buggy mess… and I’m eating well from the so called crumbs… just no moldy ones and I will be happy…

This game could have been bad but all in all a solid game… apart from a few missteps UbiSoft has put out some good games lately… not sure they will ever be able to create a GOTY game in the future though as they are to formulaic

I picked up Gloomhaven as it was on a great sale… haven’t tried it yet but the reviews seemed positive and I like that type of game….

I have been bouncing around Quake, Brotato and Powerwasher Simulator… maybe at the moment I’m just playing games for a short period of time and later I can try to restart Assassins Creed 1

My rational as same as when I got the Starfield DLC:
Got game pass - check
Got reward points to buy it - check
Going to get the DLC anyways - check
Going to love the game- check
= spent no real money and the perk is the early access which I probably will not use but it is a better perk than any other perk

Much easier to test the Xbox and PS versions with the Pc version? Weirdly makes sense…

@somnambulance my guess is that with the heavy discounts, people are trying out SS. Yet Hogwarts still is outperforming and yet WB still cashing in and hopefully learned a lesson but think not….

I enjoyed the previous Lost in Random but that was more of a linear world vs this is a rogue-lite… hope for the best

I started Dungeons of Hindenburg and Journey to the Savage Planet. Got to 80% on Brotato and need to check out the free update to Vampire Survivors… have a gaming weekend!

A movie like this was always going to live/die by how funny it was and the special effects. Seems to be about right in where it landed. The budget for this was never going to be Disney kind of money….

I’m not so excited… got way more games that I am interested in… not that the game won’t be great - just not in my wheelhouse….
