I don't sub anymore, but ads are ok unless they are not REAL intrusive. Btw, does anyone know why the "Subscribe to Gamepass for £1" on XSX always ends up asking you to pay the full price. I go to select it and then get told to pay full cost.

@MaccaMUFC Just some games I don't like. Soon as it improves I'll sub again. All this " we won't miss you' crap from others here is stupid talk. Apparently we have to like the same games as others. Not allowed to have your own taste 🙄

Good there's patches coming. I noticed the creepy background sound kept cutting in and out for me while in Kalevala Knights Workshop. Especially in the office.

Pre-ordered it for free with ms points. Friday can't come quick enough.

F.E.A.R, Condemned and Fallout 3

It's true what some people are saying. SF is lacking any kind of soul. I find it dull and boring. Forgetfull characters and don't get me started on the loading screens. Even the same animations of clicking the same buttons everytime on the ships panels no matter where you go. Very samey... I'm forcing myself to play it now and then because I paid for it, but it's a drag really. Somethings missing. I think FO and Elder Scrolls with be played for years to come, but I think SF is not in the same league.

A loading screen simulator isn't something I want to play for a long time. It's too dull and boring and I couldn't care less about the characters. Very forgetful. I'll be on my guard the next game they release. Regret buying it.

One thing I hate and its in their other games too. The utter jankiness of when you die. Your propelled at high speed across a room or even up high in space spinning around, legs flapping all over. Such lame crappy old engine physics. So annoying.

To me the character faces looks very close to games like Elder Scrolls. Only higher res/textures. Almost as if they used the same bloody engine as before. Either that or the same graphic designer. I'm sure half the voice actors will be the same too. Wonder how many different characters will have the exact same voice... just like before. I'm all for recycling but dont take the pi$$ lol

@inkling_shawn Me too. I remember having a 16k Speccy and my dad worked at an electronics firm (crosfields) and he brought home some memory chips. I either soldered them or it had IC sockets to upgrade to 48k. Can't remember that far back. Manic Miner was the first game I tried out.

@Sol4ris I have Everspace 2 on PC and it's damn good. There are some frustrating difficulty spikes here and there, but it is pretty addictive. Enough to keep you busy for a while at least.

I hardly think buying games that are £60+ being good value. Especially when they can be finished in less than 24hrs.

Another reason not to buy day 1 really. Dead Island 2 release date hasn't been that long.

@Dan1283 Totally agree. I play the pc more these days. Just cancelled my sub today. Great if it appeals to other folk but for me it's all trashy fillers. Sometimes I wish I'd bought the other console but I'm sure it gets trash as well. Ive subbed since the XSX was released and now it's really underwhelming. All the billions M$ fork out to aquire studio's and we still get poor stuff. I realise games take time to develop, but really I can't remember when I played something I really loved. Probably when the XSX was released really.

@Evilinsane Agree with you, but saddens me all the same. Was really hoping for something a tad different. Games today are too samey. The price considering an exclusive seems money poorly spent then. Seems the chinese are desperate... hence the exclusive bit. Think I'll wait for a cheapo pc key in a years time.

Ghostwire is a great game. Own it on PC. It looks great indeed but if you don't like games that get samey or repetitive, you may have an issue. I guess all games can get samey after awhile. You just tend to do the same stuff throught the game, over and over again. Just the way it is I guess.

Task#1 isnt tracking for me either. Bloody irritating.

Very laggy app. I got nothing for 3 achievements the other day. Peed me right off.

Ive been on early access with Everspace 2 on PC since the beginning. Been a wild ride with updates and huge improvements. It's a great game and certainly something those space cadets should consider picking up. The first game was good, if a little samey, but this successor is brilliant stuff.

Fix the slow download speeds. Something useful for a change instead of all this meh visual stuff.

I mainly buy games on PC. Just use XSX for Gamepass and the odd cheaper/Indie title. Also use it for BC games too.

Atomic Heart is the only thing I have interest in.

Many games arent even available on xsx, only through '360. If this is because they aren't selling then not surprised. They would make more cash if they didnt do things so bloody awkward.

High prices and thats digital downloads. Not like the old days when you had a nice box, manual and extras (map etc). No excuse for these greedy publishers.

@Fenbops Key sites are the way to go if you think it's expensive. Under £40 I think at the moment, but I think no Steam Keys though. Eneba is one of my fave trustworthy sites.

@Clankylad 2 was ok but the Malaria mechanic really jarred me. I will say though that it was 2 that made me jump from an AMD card to Nvidia. Will always remember that
