Respawn's upcoming Star Wars: Jedi sequel may have suffered a short delay to April 2023 recently, but it seems like Star Wars Jedi: Survivor's marketing cycle is about to kick into gear anyway. We've only seen bits and pieces on the upcoming title since its reveal last May, but now IGN has it locked in for a month of preview coverage - starting with a brand-new gameplay video.

Yep, here's nine minutes of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor gameplay to get stuck into before the game arrives for Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S on April 28th. Just like last month's Dead Space remake, EA seems to be going all in on current-gen for titles like this - Survivor isn't getting any sort of Xbox One or PS4 release.

We're glad of that fact as well, because it should mean that developer Respawn can really push the limits with its second Star Wars title. Here's a bit more on what to expect when the game hits Xbox in just a few short weeks:

"This narratively driven, single-player title picks up 5 years after the events of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and follows Cal’s increasingly desperate fight as the galaxy descends further into darkness. Pushed to the edges of the galaxy by the Empire, Cal will find himself surrounded by threats new and familiar.

As one of the last surviving Jedi Knights, Cal is driven to make a stand during the galaxy’s darkest times — but how far is he willing to go to protect himself, his crew, and the legacy of the Jedi Order?"
