its crazy if you were to compile a list of all the games MS cancelled from 360 era to now. im still butthurt over phantom dust remake being cancelled and that was like 15-20 cancellations ago.

@themightyant fair enough. I think it makes total sense. They had no problems launching octopath traveler on gamepass which did well but not 2. If it was just numbers they still would not release on Xbox. Plus MS purchased Bethesda after octopath traveler launched on GP and before part 2.

@TheSimulator back in the day rumors were that MS was close to acquiring square enix. But then Bethesda warned MS that they were about bought by Sony, then MS acquired Bethesda.

Which of course pissed off square enix.
That was why for a while square enix refused to release any of their games on Xbox or gamepass. Always wondered what would of happened if MS went through with the square enix purchase rather then Bethesda.

@NishimaruX literally everyone does it. Capcom and sony do it and are making a killing. MS went the route of not doing that and look where that got them. This is a needed course correction, regardless of your opinions on remasters/remakes.

One of the projects they cancelled was apparently a shadowrun game. Would of preferred if inxile make it personal. Still sucks though MS finally making a new shadowrun game and now it's on ice.

@beltmenot i personally think the stories for each are good. the games were made with tablets in mind, and you can tell. environmental interaction and overall mechanics are limited. a very simple turn based combat system. they keep progressively get better, but you will be playing for the stories.

Aegis Wing was so fun with 4 player coop online. I remember people being scared when i piloted because i got so close to the enemies without running into them.

I hope they can handle bases that have alot of followers on screen. I remember the game having survivors magically appear and disappear in the base because the game couldn't handle that many characters on screen at once.

Owlcat having the near identical trajectory as Bioware did. This is now their Mass Effect after making bunch of popular CRPGs. BG 1&2 and Dragon Age = Patherfinder 1&2 and Rogue Trader.

Never played it. The IP never interested me. So I would be keen to try it.

Maybe use some of those dormant IP's that your just sitting on for no reason. Like shadowrun, kings quest, prototype... etc. If not make it first party, outsource it to 3rd party. Not like it matters anymore, since your games go everywhere anyway.

All this so people can make AI slop videos and companies can have less overhead.

i wasted so many hours on both culdcept saga and bomberman XBLA on the 360. dont know how i feel about a sprite version of culdcept when the one on 360 was 3D. just wish they would make culdcept saga backwards compatible.

The first 2 to 3 hours is brutal with the cutscenes. Once they actually let you play it's quite decent. Visuals are pretty good too. Story is a little too melodramatic for me.

Maybe an actual dark tone this time? The best mod for divinity 2 was changing the weather and color theme to the opening prison island to actually match the tone. Devs are to preoccupied with bright sunlight to show off their graphics engine.
