Dragon age origins is one of my favorite rpgs ever. So it's sad to say DA veilguard is a huge disappointment. They abandoned the dark fantasy and went with disney/Pixar graphics and setting. The millennial dialouge is jarring in a fantasy setting. And don't get me started on the forced political preaching ham fisting in the game.

This makes me very concerned for mass Effect 5. Bioware of old is definitely not the current bioware.

Zenimax forced them make a game they didn't want to make. You knew that, and you still closed them down when it didn't perform well. Only thing worse is closing tango when they made exactly what they wanted to critical acclaim and you still close. I'd imagine if they didn't acquire activ/blizzard they would still be around.

So flying to Stockholm UK and France is no problem, but Japan is just too much of an inconvenience.

From the looks of it, its going to be the remaster of the playstation version as opposed to the Sega CD version that i grew up playing. oh well, its still lunar though. Might be my nostalgia, but i prefer the voice acting and even the music better on the Cd version.

glad lunar collection is coming to xbox. played it so much on the sega CD back in the day.

I think this was planned before the acquisition of Bethesda. Would explain the shadow drop, they just wanted to get it out of the way so they can close them. It being actually good and public support was what they didnt anticipate. But they still went through with it.

i remember when MS tried to be slick by raising the price of gamepass before the trial since doing it afterward would raise scrutiny of the acquisition. the fact that they would do it again before blackops drops on gamepass was ballsy move. "bold strategy cotton lets see how it pays off for them."

I'm sorry, locking "day 1" games behind the most expensive tier is lame. Wonder how the devs of those games feel about it. Now they are using "day 1 with gamepass" against their subscribers. They need to change the phrase to "day 1 with ultimate gamepass tier."

Whats with that new voice actor for frank west. It's just a remaster, why change the voice? Original voice sounds way better.

If they make a system shock 2 remake, they need to get the proportions right. The hallways aren't this tight in the original games along with the character models.

They need to recast the actor who plays maximus with someone who can act. Like holy heck is he bad. Other than that, it's pretty decent.

Is it me or is the guy who plays maximus a terrible actor. Like cringey bad. It takes me out of it everytime, which is why I still haven't finished the first season.

B- for me. Hellblade and indy did it for me. Still on the fence on avowed, still looks like a vr game to me. Ara looks decent. Not a huge fan of 4x strategy games. Visions of mana looked super generic as opposed to origins of the franchise in secret of mana.

The Sega announcements were the highlight for me. Everything else was alright. Blade could be interesting. It will at least shut up those saying MS needs a super hero marvel game.

Take it with a grain of salt but Jez corden let slip that it is no longer 2nd party on his podcast. It will still come to xbox though.

could be that once rumored shadowrun game by arkane. love shadowrun, dont know how i would feel about arkane making it. would of preferred inxile, but that arkane art style would fit well with a shadowrun game.

I know it's kind of been hinting to come out 2024. But man a shadow drop during the game awards would be earth shattering.
