21 Game Pass Titles Get New Announcements At The Xbox Showcase 2026

As expected for any Xbox Games Showcase event, the 2026 edition was absolutely stacked with Xbox Game Pass announcements, some of which were world premieres, and some of which were more minor updates.

There's a lot to talk about here — the Gears of War: E-Day, Fable and Halo: Campaign Evolved release dates, for example — but something we particularly wanted to bring your attention to is that Where Winds Meet is shadow dropping today on Xbox Series X and S! This is a free open-world action-adventure RPG that's proved very popular on Steam and PS5 in recent months, and it's getting extra perks as part of Xbox Game Pass.

"We're excited to announce that Where Winds Meet officially arrives on XBOX Series X|S, XBOX on PC, and XBOX Cloud on June 8, 2026, at 2:00 AM (UTC+8). Players can now download the game from the Microsoft Store and enjoy it for free. We're also kicking off an exclusive time-limited pack event for XBOX GAME PASS members! All XBOX GAME PASS members can claim exclusive rewards in the Shop! The event runs for four weeks, and the pack contents will be updated with future versions, so keep an eye out!"
