With Forza Horizon 6 dominating a lot of the attention last week (and let's be honest, it's going to happen this week as well), we didn't get much chance to talk about Subnautica 2, which is now playable with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
To be honest, we didn't think it was going to release on time — this is a game that's suffered its fair share of behind-the-scenes controversy in recent months — but now that it's here, it feels like the reception has been pretty darn positive so far (aside from controversy about some of the wording included in the game's EULA).
We've also now got a roadmap of upcoming content to look forward to, as you can see below:
Of course, as mentioned above, this is still just an early access release for now. Subnautica 2 was very much released in an in-progress state, so it technically should continue to get better and better before the full release.
