Today marked the start of our big week of Summer Game Fest showcases, with the MIX Summer Showcase 2026 highlighting over 60 indie games that are coming to various platforms - a few of them also including Xbox consoles.
We definitely had a few surprises as well! The self-proclaimed "Tower-Survivor rogue-lite" Monsters Are Coming! was announced for Xbox Game Pass (it's already on PC Game Pass), as was the sequel to Raji: An Ancient Epic, and Star Fox 64 spiritual successor Wild Blue Skies was also announced for August (but not for Game Pass).
So, here are all the biggest Xbox reveals from The MIX Summer Showcase 2026:
Monsters Are Coming! (August 6, 2026) (Xbox Game Pass)
Don't miss the Xbox Release Date Trailer for Monsters are Coming!, a top-down bullet hell action roguelite game developed by Ludogram. Players will take up arms to defend an ever-moving city from unrelenting hordes. Gather resources, fortify defences, and survive for as long as you can. Monsters are Coming! is releasing on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox Game Pass on August 6, with the game available now on PC (Steam and GoG).
BrokenLore: Don't Lie (TBD)
Don't miss the Demo Launch Trailer for BrokenLore: Don't Lie, a psychological horror spin-off game developed by Serafini Productions. Players will explore a narrative where lies, medication, and fragile bonds blur the line between reality and nightmare. BrokenLore: Don't Lie is coming soon to PlayStation 5 (PS5), Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, and GoG), with a demo available now on Steam.
Memoria Wake (TBD 2027)
Take a look at the Release Window Trailer for Memoria Wake, an exploration souls-like puzzle Metroidvania developed by Team Crescendo. Players will parry with precision and fight through shifting, surreal landscapes in this Souls-like action-adventure. When reality turns into a living nightmare, you must ascend through a shattered realm to rescue a missing friend. Memoria Wake is launching in 2027 for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox Cloud, and PC (Steam and Xbox on PC).
Paperhead (September 16, 2026)
Check out the Release Date Trailer for Paperhead, a fast-paced action first-person boomer shooter developed by Paperhead Te4m. Players will use the magical pencil, a good old shotgun, and various other weapons, as well as the strength of their mighty boots, to uncover the dark truth and find out why cardboard would bleed. Paperhead is launching on September 18 for PlayStation 5 (PS5), Xbox, and PC (Steam).
Hands Over (TBD)
Don't miss the Console Announcement Trailer for Hands Over, a first-person horror co-op card game developed by ArtDock. Players will endure harmless challenges that become cruel tests of luck and nerve. Bluff, sabotage your friends, play dirty, and stay at the table longer than anyone else. Hands Over is coming soon to PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam).
Wild Blue Skies (August 13, 2026)
Wild Blue Skies gets a new trailer and a release date announcement. Watch the latest Wild Blue Skies trailer for this upcoming action-adventure game that reimagines the classic on-rail adventures of the '90s. Join Bowie Stray and the Blue Bombers as they soar through the skies on a mission to save the world in Wild Blue Skies. Wild Blue Skies will be available on PlayStation 5 (PS5), Xbox Series X/S, and Steam on August 13, 2026.
Duskfade (TBD)
Watch the Gameplay Demo Launch Trailer for Duskfade, a 3D action-adventure platformer developed by Weird Beluga. Players shatter the shackles of time as you jump, swing, and slash through a fantastic world in this love letter to classic 3D action platformers. Zirian, accompanied by his mechanical Cuckoo, must save his sister from a mysterious Clock Tower that has plunged the land into eternal night. Raji: Kaliyuga (TBD) (Xbox Game Pass)
