Believe it or not, Forza Horizon 6 isn't even out in its Standard Edition guise yet - despite some amazing reviews being put out there and hundreds of thousands of early access players jumping in already. And now, even some of the Xbox bosses are congratulating the development team before the game's Xbox Game Pass launch this week.
Over the weekend, both Chief Content Officer Matt Booty and Xbox CEO Asha Sharma took to the internet to congratulate Playground Games for their early success with Forza Horizon 6. We'll start with Sharma here, who used social media the other day to big up the team:
Furthermore, Mr. Booty headed over to LinkedIn recently to heap praise on the Forza Horizon 6 developer, while adding that he's "excited for more players to jump in" - presumably from the game's full launch date on May 19th.
"Very proud of the teams at Playground Games and Turn 10 Studios and the early success we're seeing with Forza Horizon 6. The team has shown up for players and for each other across multiple releases, and it's great to see how they keep refining the experience without losing what makes the series special. That's hard to maintain as teams grow and development gets more complex, and it's a credit to the studio and culture they've built. Excited for more players to jump in!"
We can only echo their sentiments here, to be honest - Forza Horizon has been an incredibly consistent experience over the years that Xbox fans have been able to look forward to time and time again. Forza Horizon 6 continues that lineage, and we can't get enough of it right now at Pure Xbox HQ!
Congrats to the Playground team, then, and we'll link to some of our personal thoughts on the fantastic new Xbox title down below.
