Microsoft announced a bunch of upcoming Xbox Game Pass titles for late June and early July earlier today, and one of them is the former PlayStation exclusive F.I.S.T.: Forged In Shadow Torch which arrives on June 27th!

This side-scrolling 2.5D metroidvania currently holds a "Very Positive" rating on Steam, while our sister site Push Square gave it a "Great" 8/10 score back in 2021, even highlighting it as one of the best games of the year.

"F.I.S.T.: Forged In Shadow Torch is a stellar Metroidvania adventure set in a beautifully realised world, replete with challenging combat encounters, rewarding exploration, and some spicy platforming action. Rayton Rabbit might be of diminutive stature, but he's punching well above his weight here in what is one of the best games of 2021 so far."

You'll be able to play F.I.S.T.: Forged In Shadow Torch on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PC and Xbox Cloud Gaming when it arrives next Tuesday. There's no native Xbox One version here, but XB1 owners can still play via the cloud.

This marks the first time the game has ever been available on Xbox - and we're very glad to have it!

"F.I.S.T.: Forged In Shadow Torch is a side-scrolling Metroidvania, featuring arcade-style combat and set in the uniquely designed Torch City. Face dozens of distinct enemy types each with their own weapons and attacks, all working together to bring you down."
