i have no Interest in COD on Game Pass at all.

There are so many couch coop games on Steam that never make it to Xbox.

I can't help but feel a tad negative going into this reveal. That's mostly fueled by hype for past years and it really not amounting to much.

I'm also pretty bummed out that Halo Infinite is on a death slide existing only to milk players with the shop between now and the next release.

Microsoft rarely use their showcases to show Halo projects. The last time was Infinite and despite my excitement we all know how that turned out. I just feel my favorite franchise is being terribly mishandled.

I guess this is somewhat what it feels to be a Gears of War fan?

Not to be too morbid but people should enjoy this one while the servers are still online.

@Grackler well, they're definitely working on something else. As for the rest of what you said the juice isn't worth the squeeze.

@dreadful Feels like the end. Halo is pretty much the only game I play and maybe that’s the issue here.

I've played every week and for every weekly. There are orbs in the exchange I don’t have but do I want them? Not really. Even the 30000 credits one just doesn’t seem worth it.

With weekly rewards going I think I’m actually going to stop doing weeklies. I’d hope on each Tuesday night (as my calls it “Halo night”) but with how unenjoyable the game is to play nowadays I’m seriously reconsidering that.

You can really tell their heart isn’t in it any more.

Humanity looks fun but I don't know if it'll keep me interested long term.

I never mess with the defaults.

Getting Guild Wars 2 vibes from that wrap. The art was one of the best parts of Guild Wars 2.

Nothing for me. I really don’t need any more games right now. If I do in the future I’m sure the summer sale will offer the same deals if not better.

Another Crab's Treasure looks like a laugh. I'm not into soulslike games but this one looks like it has some charm. Hopefully if it's more than shell-deep.

I’m still playing Halo Infinite. Through all the jank it's been the reason I bought a XSX and why I still turn it on.

With games requiring online services more and more forward compatibility should be a consideration to developers.

Halo Infinite for me. Completed The Yappening 2 event pass and I just got Diamond Captain I.

Gruntpocolypse is great fun.

I prefer multiplayer games over story so my games have no length associated to them.

@GrandValkyrie I got the last issue of Nintendo Power when it came out as over in the US at the time but it wasn’t something I read growing up in the UK.

@GrandValkyrie I used to read Nintendo Magazine System, N64 and NGC magazines myself. Didn’t really bother with magazines sheet I switched to Xbox.

Halo Infinite is pure joy right now. Gruntpocolypse firefight got added today. So much fun to play against hordes of grunts. A pure dopamine hit.

Geometry Wars would be great. Really not fussed by CoD at all.

You think Xbox might introduce support in their support system too at some point?

Yes, absolutely. The multiplayer still has me hooked weekly. I still play several times a week.

Halo Infinite supports so many styles of play now like previously Halos.

I’ll probably be playing in some capacity until the lights turn off or the replacement is here.

Wife & I finished the content of Lightyear Frontier this week. Good fun with a solid foundation but definitely early access.

I’ll likely play some Halo Infinite multiplayer as always. The exp per rank getting to me! 60k For the next one and that’s nothing compared to where it’s heading. I don’t know how long Infinite will be around but the grind to Hero is daunting.

Well at least we have hot wheels 2, eh?

@InterceptorAlpha this. The novelty of gaming in the go has very little opportunity in my life.

I think I’ve used a switch on a plane once or twice but it’s just not as comfortable as gaming with a big telly.

Series X here. Storage I’ll had never really been a long term issue that need something external. I generally only have a couple of large titles and the rest are indies. I’ll delete a game when I’m done.

Mostly Lightyear Frontier with my wife. We’re progressing nicely just got coal and iron so we’re making tier 2 upgrades now.

Other than that a little bit of Halo Infinite. I’m progressing through Diamond Gunnery Sergeant III right now. I should be Master Sergeant I next time I play.

It’s a shame Tchia wasn’t announced with this lot. Apparently the Switch is getting a release.

It'll be interesting to see how Behemoth plays with decent number of players. I'm surprised they didn't add Launch Site as well while they're at it.

Had a go at Lightyear Frontier last night a little slow to begin with but still good fun.

I played the game at launch with my wife. I didn’t complete the main story because it honestly bored me to tears and the gameplay just wasn’t fun.

We’d played Diablo 3 for 100s of hours across multiple consoles. Sure, Diablo 3 was repetitive and the story was nee meh but the gameplay loop was fun for a while and was something that I could come back every now and then.

I preordered this yesterday. I don't usually do that on day one game pass games but I wanted to support the dev.

I played the demo for a bit but stopped as I want to give this a try with my wife in mostly coop mode.

Only criticism is the AI voice was a tad grating over my session in the demo.

Probably Halo if anything. Next weekend I hope to be playing Lightyear Frontier.

Nice. More squad battle maps is long overdue.

@InterceptorAlpha DLC editions are a problem. At least they have compare versions but it is a nightmare like you say and compare versions doesn’t always help with that.

My biggest gripe is they rename the base game. Seasonal game icons are one thing but this is next level ridiculous.

Really not a fan of these “year editions” that rename the base game.

@rustyduck you’re certainly not the only one here but I generally prefer competitive shooters versus story shooters. To each their own!

I’ve been playing Halo just got to Diamond Staff Sergeant last night in career rank.

I’ve also been playing The Mobius Machine.

Apex has the cast of characters to do it. I’ve not been back to the game in a long time but they’re the thing I miss the most. That’s so rare to say about a live service game.

Not sure I have much stock in anything Rare announces in this preview event. Generally their plans seem to go by the wayside. I’ll always root for them but I’m going to be much, much less optimistic going into this event.

No Dave the Diver. Time to give up on that one and just be pleasantly surprised when it does eventually arrive.
