Poll: How Excited Are You For Diablo 4 On Xbox Game Pass?

Hope more people playing D4 will result in better content for the game. No other expectations and desires.

Already been playing it but, yeah, will be good to have some more Xbox players on board.

I was waiting on a sale so I will definitely play it on GP. Very excited!

One of those games I thought looks decent and everyone raves about it but I didn't want to buy it so I'll most likely try it at some point in the next couple of months, good addition though!

I personally can't wait. I'm making sure I have a clean slate on xbox for the release. I'm more than halfway done with Halo CE right now so I should be good. I probably won't be starting any other games either until I'm finished with it.

They should bring all Activision Blizzard Games on game pass in 2024, which means all Call of Duty titles, Diablo games, WoW, Warcraft rts series, Diablo games, Overwatch, Starcraft etc should come on game pass. That would be a great boost for gamepass content and will attract many gamers to the service.

Played and finished the main game back when it released so I'm not very interested in replaying it.

Overall, it was a pretty meh experience with mostly boring bosses(with a couple of exceptions) and a story that got progressively worse the longer it went on.
I would probably at least give it like... a 6 out of 10.

I only ever played Diablo 3 and I liked it for what it was. Tried Diablo 4 during the open beta and found it incredibly boring so nah, probably not gonna touch this one. Though I hope we get the WoW mount via game pass perks or something...

Already bought it and got bored after 20 hours it's extremely repetitive love the dynamic background though lol.

I played the game at launch with my wife. I didn’t complete the main story because it honestly bored me to tears and the gameplay just wasn’t fun.

We’d played Diablo 3 for 100s of hours across multiple consoles. Sure, Diablo 3 was repetitive and the story was nee meh but the gameplay loop was fun for a while and was something that I could come back every now and then.

Had it been dropped on Gamepass the day of launch I would have played it. Was super excited seeing it looked like old school Diablo instead of that trash that was 3

But seeing how Blizzard repeatedly fumbled it, I'm decidedly way less excited

I still enjoy the odd session of D4 and may spend a week or so playing it when a new season starts.

While I mostly have fun the shine has worn off a little so I am not as enthusiastic as I was at the beginning.

I’ll be playing it in between Rebirth and DD2.

I’ve spent a couple of hours with it previously and it was solid if unspectacular

I have a little story to tell.
I bought Diablo IV three times: first on xbox, then on BattleNet (PC Blizzard) to play on my gaming laptop and finally as a surprise on Steam, for playing it on my Steam Deck.
so I know and love the game.

BUT...

do I like it is an always online game service (GAAS)?
no, absolutely: I dislike it very much.
Plus: EndGame content! I'm not arguing the seasons (that are cool I admit) neither the mechanics; instead the drop rate. do you think it is funny to have a 0.5-1% drop rate for important gears and stuff?
no it isn't and you get angry and give up.
maybe without coming back.
I know what is the mentality behind this decision, but it's just not fun, only frustrating.

said that: enjoy the game, it's a blast and, in my opinion, with the best assets and gameplay of the genre.

I love anything I can play on the couch with my wife but I think we are going to have to admit to ourselves that we don't really like Baldur's Gate 3 before we can start this.

Was playing on the ps5. Seemed very grindy. Sold it off.

I wish blizzard had some stuff I cared about to be put on there, but I don’t think I’ve cared for at least a decade or maybe two! Activision has a tons of properties they’re just sitting on as well, while they run their AAA stuff into the ground instead. Alas.

Loved the game but the way the seasons are setup. How you have to create a new character everytime to play the event is horrible.

Fan of the series, played it for almost a year ago...

Looking forward to playing this again - not played it for many months as I got a bit bored in the end game.

@Phil-Spencer-Gate wish they would love to play warcraft games I think it was again lime command and conquer style with an hero they were ace😎 especially if came to Xbox

@Decimateh All Activision Blizzard games will come to gamepass in the future. However, I think it would be a great move to bring these games to the service as quickly as possible, because it will be a huge boost on gamepass content, which will bring more value for the consumer to be a subscriber.

Bought it on both Xbox and PS5. Got a little over 600 hours on it. So the GP thing is a non factor for me, but i am happy to see if more players will jump in. Sure some season are better than others. The game needs a good content patch to hit and excite again. But overall Diablo is a top 5 franchise all time for me. So i am sure i will hit 1000 plus hours on it in due time.

@Pigrotto 2000% agree with that. I have 600 plus hours in D4 and still sometimes don’t get certain gear pieces i want. The only achievement and trophy i don’t have is killing Uber Lilith. Which requires better gear than i normally get in a season. I bought it twice, Series X and PS5. Play it just about every day, but the Gear drops are frustrating and while i don’t mind a decent grind, some times this is turning into a win the lottery type of grind and that i don’t care for.

@Phil-Spencer-Gate they need to bring em to Xbox though not just pc. I want the cnc style warcraft games on Xbox that would be ace😎

Haven't played any Diablo games before, so will give this one a go.

It's definitely worth a try if on game pass.. I bought it at full price last year and thought it was OK, but just didn't get into it as much as I thought I would.. It was really good for about 20 hours or so but I never even finished the main quest.. Wouldn't rule out getting back into it at some point though

Played it at launch so not that excited for it to be on Game Pass. It was an ok game, certainly not great but good.

All my PC friends are super crazy about Diablo and insist that I must play it, being a lowly console player myself and having played only Diablo 3 (with the voodo guy) I must say that it does not excite me so much and find the gameplay loop repetitive and monotonous (I’m the type of person that get excited at the prospect of Persona or Yakuza on Game Pass) I guess I will install it, will play a little will lose interest fast and forget about it. And will be the first thing I delete when in need for space on the Hard Drive for SMTVengeance (Hope i’m wrong and it clicks with me and blows my mind)

Seeing as I have not played this one yet, very happy to play with Gamepass.

D4 was released in June of last year and I bought it for PC. Good to see people on Xbox getting to try it out.
