Absolutely!
You can't really beat the value that the Series S + Game Pass combo delivers.

I loved Lost in Random, so my initial reaction to this game's genre shift was cautious, but I'll still give it a fair chance.

Played the first chapter, so far so good.

As long as they keep using some of that money to fund passion projects like Kunitsu-Gami, I'm happy.

We'll see at least one FF at the next showcase (VII/XVI), maybe even a "shadow drop".

Always wanted to play it but didn't find the time, now I'm glad I waited.

I hope Todd keeps at least as involved as he was on S1.

I liked Hellblade 2 but Hellblade is more focused and that makes it a better experience.

Short answer: Gears of War 2

Nothing really changed on my playthrough after this patch. The nerf won't impact the majority of players because the damage this skill did was absurd. It's nothing at all like the balance changes that Elden Ring had, for example.

Police Simulator looks fun!

I wanted to start IXION, but I'm finding it really hard to pause Clair Obscur!
@somnambulance It's very dark and sad at some moments and one character even remarks that on the campsite, so it's not like the game isn't aware of itself.
The setting's gloominess is justified given the state of their world. I think the game is pretty transparent with this.

@jesse_dylan Same but because I don't play on PC anymore. I couldn't be happier with this generation's trend of porting strategy games to consoles.

I loved the world from Tainted Grail: Conquest so I'm counting on The Fall of Avalon to share the same vibes.
Monster Train 2 is the one I'm most hyped about on this list.

@Stamnoso It runs decently (30fps but no lag at all) and looks beautiful on my "2k" display.

It gets even trickier when you are a movie fan as well! I usually play after work, and watch films/series at night.

The release of GTA 6 (who knows when) will "affect" almost all games because it has no competition and will sell a lot just because of the brand.

@Ricky-Spanish Evolve had a fun premise, but the devs didn't handle its support very well.

Easy top 3 for sure.

I'm glad people are starting to pull the plug early on projects they know will fail instead of lying to the players, to the investors and themselves and then bombing hard. The big example of this was Hyenas, which lost Sega money but saved them more in the long run + their image was not damaged as it could have been if it launched.

Game Pass is one of the best things that could have happened to most gamers. You can still buy the games if you want. It's a win-win for the players.

Hyped for Monster Train 2!

The trailer looks good. I like the boss theme.

It could benefit a lot from mod support.

I wish all developers were as committed to optimization as Ubisoft.

@fizban3332 This was my experience as well. I didn't try it again after all the patches and DLC, but that first impression was too strong.

That statement doesn't really say anything of value. It's just an opinion based on an arbitrary stat responding to negative news regarding just one of the current subscription services.

Sniper Elite 5 is a great game. I haven't tried Resistance yet.

Too bad they didn't add console mod support like with Fallout and Starfield (on PC a lot of OG mods work on the remaster).

Clair Obscur deserves all of that and more!

Doom is definitely the highlight next month.

I'm still waiting for all the Call of Duty games to be on Game Pass because I want to play them all in order. And to think, last year I thought it would have already happened by now lol.

FragPunk looks promising at least for the originality alone.

@Kaloudz Yeah, Gustave looks like him. I also showed the launch trailer to my girlfriend, and she said the same thing, but then I showed her a screenshot and she finally agreed. I guess the similarities are more apparent ingame than in the cutscenes.
