Two More Xbox Game Pass Indies Confirmed For May & June 2025

We're always keeping our eyes peeled for new Xbox Game Pass announcements, and we've spotted two of them over the past few days - one that's a bit further out in June, and another that'll be with us very soon in May.

The May game is Kulebra and the Souls of Limbo, and this was revealed a very long time ago as an Xbox Game Pass title, but it's only just received a release date today. The game will arrive for Xbox Series X and S on May 16th.

June's newest Xbox Game Pass addition is Against the Storm, which was actually first added to PC Game Pass back in late 2023 - a dark fantasy city builder with "overwhelmingly positive" reviews on Steam. This one is coming to Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and Xbox One, and it'll be with us on June 16th.

We've added both of these to our massive Xbox Game Pass in 2025 guide here at Pure Xbox, and don't forget that we've got loads more titles confirmed for May and June already - they're both shaping up to be fantastic months!

Here are more details on these two newly-announced Xbox Game Pass indies:

Kulebra and the Souls of Limbo (May 16)

Use your wits, kindness, and maybe a good whack to gather clues, items, and evidence that will help the residents of Limbo move on. Untangling an afterlife is no easy feat, especially when you don’t have feet!

Against The Storm (June 26)

A dark fantasy city builder where you must rebuild civilization in the face of apocalyptic rains. As the Queen’s Viceroy, lead humans, beavers, lizards, foxes, and harpies to reclaim the wilderness and secure a future for civilization's last survivors.
