It’s hard to argue their reasons. Xbox has always been afterthought in Japan except for maybe a brief period during the Xbox 360 era. The only way NiS games comes to Xbox would be if Microsoft forked over a massive amount of funding and today’s Microsoft heads don’t seem to care much about Japan. It’s a wonder why the other big Japanese developers continue to support the console.

There were rumors of a Blue Dragon announcement I heard during the week but of course we get nothing. Xbox needs to start pumping out some exclusive Japanese content like we had in the 360 era.

Microsoft and Xbox can seriously go F*** themselves. They have become an absolute disgrace to the industry. Buying up studios just to close them months later. It’ll be so gratifying the day they exit from the console industry.

I’m going to be honest. I wasn’t blown away by any of it. The vibe Avowed gave off from the first teaser showed a much darker world and looked like it could be a next gen Skyrim.

Indiana Jones should have been a third person game and graphically looks bland compared to last gen’s Uncharted 4.

Hellblade being a digital only release is a bad omen for physical lovers like myself, and Ara is not suited for my tastes. And Square Enix’s surprise showing was an already announced multiplatform game.

I’m glad there was something for others to get excited about and look forward too, but for me personally, nothing really grabbed me.

Digital only release. Microsoft really pushing for an all digital future and I’m not thrilled about it.

I just want to see more high quality games out of Microsoft. Inconsistency in that area has really hampered them imo.

And make Japanese exclusives a focal point going forward from team Xbox.

Can we please get the ability to search movies/tv by genre?

I think it makes sense seeing how the first game was on the service.

The gamepass stuff didn’t impress me since I usually buy my games. Hotel game looks dumb. Where were the big games? The Yakuza games are quickly becoming very repetitive.

Only game from Square is Octopath Traveler 2.

I give the show a D. Microsoft has a lot of work to do in Japan.

For anyone who got one early on, I don’t see reason to. I feel these mid gen refreshes are for new adopters who have yet to purchase one.

So far it’s been a heavy loaded first half. Can’t remember a year when it’s been game after game to start the year off.

RE4R is my choice on the Xbox side.

Now we await Starfield, Spider-Man and many more coming up in the second half.

At least this proves Microsoft isn’t strong arming developers to bring in under them like many others believe.

And it also shows Japanese developers have good relations with Xbox contrary to popular belief.

Xbox is helping me make an easy decision here lately in walking away from the platform.

Constant third party skipping on major Square Enix releases, first party games that have taken way too long to come out, continued price increases for a sagging subscription service.

Meanwhile, Nintendo had their direct today and games after games were announced and scheduled to hit this year!

Microsoft has let us down and I’m tired of waiting around for them to get their act together.

Sorry Xbox you left a really bad taste in my mouth by not providing any updates or showing any new games last night. But it’s okay, I haven’t played on my Xbox in a good while. My PS5 has been getting all the attention lately and that’s how it’s going to be until you decide to get your head outta your backside.

Koei made Crimson Sea exclusive for original Xbox back in the early 2000’s, then turns around and made its sequel exclusive to PlayStation 2.

Way too cluttered than before. We need the ability to shrink the tiles or hide them like we can in the storage section of games.

This is a franchise that made Xbox what it is today. Without Halo there probably wouldn’t be an Xbox today. Microsoft needs to do better by it and give it to someone who can do it justice.

I went with Avowed cause I’m getting serious ES vibes from it and just feel like it’s going to be great. Everwild, Fable, Indiana Jones, Kojima’s game, Perfect Dark are also on my list of games I plan on buying. Kinda surprised Forza Motorsport ain’t on this poll.

Oh I know it. Microsoft following suit was their fall-back card and they lost. But since they obviously have no problem paying for $70 games and prefer NOT to save money through a subscription service, then by all means, charge the heck out of em I say.

It’s just been reported that Microsoft will NOT follow suit and raise the price of the X|S. I know this comes as a blow to the ponies who have been holding out hope that Microsoft might share in the blame, but alas, this stage is for Sony and Sony alone.

I would say it’s in need of an update/tweak. Add more colors, give us an option to hide the tiles on the Home Screen, and please fix the frustratingly hard to search Xbox store! Give us back the ability to search for movies/tv by genre! Why you took that out I’ll never know.

I have both and equally love both. I think it’s great Sony got in on the subscription scene.

GWG needs to be gone, like yesterday. Props to Sony for actually offering good free games.

I’m sure the same could be said for a lot of other developers about having unannounced games in development. Doesn’t mean much since most of Xbox’s current studios can’t put out a decent product if their lives depended on it.

I finished Firewatch the other day now it’s back to AI: The Somnium Files, and if I have time, I might play the long dark to take my mind of this heatwave by venturing into an frozen wasteland.

I’m playing As Dusk Falls and a nice relaxing game called Firewatch. Really liking both so far.

FFVII Remake was supposedly advertised as an 1-year exclusive if I recall and look how that turned out. Chances are we never see this one either.
