@Kaloudz no lol and to your other point, i think xbox finally having a big budget (where historically they were VERY underfunded) and sony going after starfield after securing ghostwire and deathloop really got xbox sick of losing out on games and moneyhatting only to have companies want more the next time.
@Kaloudz moneyhatting exclusives and buying studios essentially has the same endgame, keep games away from others. I prefer an ecosystem that is console ps cloud rather than a walled garden approach on only console. One is more accessible that the other, and people fail to realize that.
@InterceptorAlpha no company would ever sign a contract in perpetuity. Im sure COD will always be on playstation but they would have to re-sign on terms after this 10 year went through.
It must be the judge's son that works for microsoft, right? Forget they WANTED this judge in the first place. Are those same people going to bring up that a former employee who used to work for a Sony lawfirm is a senior director at the CMA? Naw, not gonna talk about that one i bet.
Now i remember where i saw Jim before. I used to love that show about a clown and kids throwing ping pong balls. I believe it was called "Bozo." This ain't the circus, Jim. Time to pull off the shoes and the nose and speak with some sense.
Jim is just angry that he is the MySpace of buying/locking content and Phil took it and made it the Facebook of buying/locking content. Don't be mad because a bigger, stronger monster decided to wake up and be the bigger, stronger monster it is.
@ZuneTattooGuy i wont be getting the disc anyway, it’s just a frisbee these days. All physical media does it take up space in the home at this point. Team digital all the way.
All that bellyaching and it turns out it has a disc anyway. Yet more outrage in the comments section over trivial things. That grass definitely needs to be touched.
@Green-Bandit be the giant everyone thinks you are. Embrace the evil empire mentality others will blame you for being. The evolution into Darth Vader has commenced and I'm here for it!
@Kaloudz shouldn't be that concerned if he didn't even make the trip out. I'm curious if he'll be shadowed out on his recording with the deep, masked voice like they do for witnesses who don't want to be identified lol
@Green-Bandit Pretty much. Did you see the required revenue splits needed to even get it on xbox? I'm sure other games require 80/20 instead of 70/30 as well. You wonder why MS want to own studios, so they dont have to put up with that overpaying nonsense. Forget the shoes, buy the whole shoe store.
@NEStalgia you arent limited. go to cdkeys thats where i get it every year. works great. i used to use bestbuy and while you are limited to 1 card per transaction you just needed to do the transaction and then do another one and you could continually get 3 month cards. CDKeys is the most convenient still because you can stack there.
@NEStalgia if you buy the 12 month sub, but monthly PS Premium is 17.99 where GPU is going to 16.99 monthly and includes day and date games. I wait for game pass ultimate on black friday every year anyway, and it costs 22-24 dollar for a 3 month so it's roughly $100 for a year, which i'll keep doing because that's a steal at that price IMO.
@Kaloudz and then you got the people trying to not sound hypocritical when they say it's different when sony/nintendo do it (even though its crazy that ps plus premium is STILL more expensive than game pass ultimate) and you got nintendo nickel and diming you with the same games every gen, along with locking content behind amiibo, but the same people are still in line day one. No integrity, lemme tell ya.
