Look up Mark Kern and you'll see all you need to know about him. Spent millions "yes, millions" on a bus and squandered more on failed ads and promotion only to run his game, Firefall, into the absolute ground. He's angry and life and people that worked with him detest his incompetence and lack of awareness in the industry.

@Feffster Rainbow Six Black Arrow for me on the OG Xbox. I no-lifed that game in college constantly. Such memories blowing people up with C4 on Cafe'.

Glad to see the Starfield hype has completely taken over. All the news this week plus the announcement of going gold, twitter has been talking about nothing but Starfield today. The Q&A sessions that dropped all that knowledge as well? Man, i can’t wait!

@AlwaysPlaying Last few games i played were TOTK and Final Fantasy vi pixel remaster. Now ive been light on gaming for the past few weeks and will get fully enthralled when this comes out the 31st. Cannot wait!

@somnambulance it'll be nice if a third person, over the shoulder, story driven game doesn't win for a change but thats why i dont know if BG3 will win because the industry prefers those types of games. Hell, Forza Horizon 5 was one of the highest rated racing games ever when it released and didn't get a nod.

We know the obligatory indie will get a nomination, though.

New info was released today as well: 20+ named companions for the game, jail system, you can have homes in multiple cities, smuggle contraband through checkpoints, all factions quests can be done separately.

@somnambulance Lest not forget the beginning of 2023 as well with Hogwarts and Hi-Fi rush, which also are worthy of GOTY consideration, Not to mention Forza and Super Mario RPG remake, AND Resident Evil 4. Man, such great games!

@somnambulance TOTK will probably win because the high score and almost 20 million sales, i agree. To be honest, i liked BOTW more than TOTK. Didnt care for the building stuff.

@Fiendish-Beaver It's currently the number 1 wishlisted game on steam and has been trending all week on twitter, has had new information all week, and just went gold today (which is currently being talked about in most places). I'm not really sure what "not being talked about" means then ...

Already got that premium upgrade ready to go August 31st. I suppose all that fake concern for not being gold will just be used to concern elsewhere. My body is ready, however.

@Darylb88 my thoughts exactly, you push literally one button up and you're at your games and apps section. The random outrage people have for the dumbest stuff is crazy. I turn on my system and immediately go into my game. don't even spend time searching the dashboard.

@BAMozzy Nintendo is the only company is makes sense for because their online is still so far behind they kinda need it. Sony rarely even has online features in their games. Xbox I'm just surprised they don't drop it all together. Think it will at some point.

@BAMozzy see how terrible and barebones GT7's split screen is i'm not surprised this is the route they are going. The industry has basically thrown it to the wayside, surprised they are bothering TBH.

@Kaloudz split-screen is the only thing that appears to be the problem and since the industry seems to be moving farther and farther away from this feature if they just get rid of it we probably wouldn't hear as much about it.

Just drop split screen and be done with it. With the demanding nature of games and the ability to play online these days its a product of its time. Seeing how fewer and fewer games are using it and the sheer barebones nature of GT7's interpretation of it i think it's time that feature drives off into the sun.

I'm actually glad it isn't coming the same week as Starfield, both since I'm playing Starfield anyway and because Baldur's Gate can get 2 bites at the apple. I think releasing against it would have drowned it out on xbox, while this way it'll have multiple times to shine.

A win/win if you ask me.

@vded Probably not for $70 but look on CDKeys and it's currently around $41 for the cross gen bundle. I thought the campaign was great, and that's all i plan on playing. I'd jump on that price!

All i want to know is how the career mode is. I'm not a HUGE Forza Motorsports fan (prefer Horizon) but if they do a great single player I must just stick around for awhile.

Can't wait. I don't really want to see too much more since i already got the premium upgrade with game pass to play it early. Don't need any hype built since i know i'll be there to judge for myself.

After playing the MW2 campaign on sale from CDKeys I'm actually REALLY looking forward to this campaign. really enjoyed it.

Just finished the campaign of MW2 this weekend, REALLY enjoyed it. Crazy to think this will be first party for Xbox. Startfield, Forza, then MW3 to finish the year. What an absolute banger of a way to end 2023!

And another one. Should be any time now.

Xbox team is just not stopping. After all the ABK stuff Phil immediately on a plane to Square-Enix, and now the crew over at Kojima. Glad to see they are trying to bring Xbox to new heights!

Hoping the career mode in substantially robust in this one, since I liked the older Forza's but want a career mode that will keep me around.

FF14 just announced for xbox, but Phil dont care about consoles!!!!

i really REALLY want to get one of these but that battery life needs to improve big time.

@Kaloudz yes it has a dlc where you can play as duke nukem but damn if that game isnt awesome. HIGHLY recommend it. It's currently on sale for the ultimate game sale at 3.99. You can't NOT get it at that price.
