@Kaloudz i’ve always been of the mind that ff6 is the absolute best in the series & ff7 is the most important in the series due to taking the series to new audiences and bringing it mainstream. Its natural that since its your first it might be pretty hard to top, and it is my second favorite and in my top 5 games of all time. 9 (even tho its the highest rated) still doesnt get talked about enough and is my 3rd favorite. I love that game. Ff6 is old now but the 16 bit era holds up so well with the ATB combat system and the sprites on top of the hand-drawn/pre-rendered backgrounds. Id put the story and character development far above any other FF. Its incredible. I know that game inside and out.

@Kaloudz you are in for a treat my friend. FF1-6 (specifically 4, 5, and especially 6) is PEAK Square IMO. Having played every Final Fantasy from around the time it released FF6 is my favorite game of all time and this is when Square was the gold standard for JRPS in the 90s. I feel once Sakaguchi left and they merged with Enix they are a shell of their former selves and not the bar that they used to be. I will be neck deep in the Pixel Remaster day one and I can't wait.

@Kaloudz i cant WAIT for that pixel remaster! I'll be getting it on the switch but would love an xbox port. I fully expect that collection to "not meet expectations" no matter where it goes. I played this specific game and really enjoyed it, so not too bummed it isn't coming to xbox, but it didn't sell particularly well on the switch so I'm not so sure the low sales make sense in this case as to not bring it to xbox. Just don't think they really care. But they can't sell us NFTs at least!

@HarmanSmith funny enough, i may have been talking about the 369 manifestation method, which apparently is a thing. I may be on to something!

@Kaloudz yup. it's the best deal in gaming and it definitively expanded my gaming horizon. If game pass didn't exist i'd play way fewer games and experience less unique experiences than i do now. Best thing to happen to the brand since the 360 days.

@Kaloudz i only ever played RE2 when i was younger on ps1 (bought it on a whim, don't remember ever buying it because of advertising or anything) and I played the original years after that. I did play RE5 around the time it was new with a friend (I really enjoyed that game, actually) and played both 7 and 8 about a year after they came out and waited for a price drop. This is the first RE game I've bought new. I also played Revelations on the 3ds. 2 is still the best one IMO.

@Green-Bandit yup, plus there are surely game pass drops we dont know about. And I can't WAIT for the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster collection to drop (FF1-6 are my childhood). Sadly, not on xbox but I'll be copping that on switch. So much to play!

@Fenbops I don't think some people realize you can see their comment history on their profile. There are certain posters I question why they even come here, and clearly act fake and outlandish for clout. Just comes off as fake, too wrapped up in this stuff.

@Kaloudz I am! currently enjoying RE4 right now. Never played the original so loving these RE remakes. I only ever played 2 and 5 before 7 and 8 so playing all these remakes has me appreciating the series more.

@Green-Bandit yup, indeed. Playing RE4 right now, then GhostWire in April, then Redfall early May followed by Zelda. So many games coming up that will suck up all my time.

Dont think i could even find another X these days! Not a huge diablo guy but it looks gorgeous and when it drops on game pass i’m there!

I see the JFTC is gonna pass the ABK deal now as they see no concerns. Ah, can’t wait to have all those games in game pass. Love it!

@themightyant like i said, if someone wants to buy a pair of slacks and a hat in a game "that makes NO difference to how powerful you are or anything" then more power to em. I've never bought one in my life and never will. If someone wants to waste money on that stuff, just like in real life, let em. Won't alter my enjoyment one bit.

If microtransactions are cosmetic only, then i dont care. I've never bought a cosmetic MTX so dont really care.

@Kaloudz i was a krillin fan too, originally, but being the one hit wonder that he is (one punch and he's done with) the arrival of trunks episode i watched on VHS way back in the day and instantly fell in love with the character. The Trunks arc in DBS is EASILY the best one. he's a beast.

@Kaloudz I think when they made the decision to go full in on game pass in 2017 and with them being third place in the market and it getting more and more expensive to get game into that service (and other companies outright making it so a company has to put in writing a multiplat can't be put in there) they knew they had to make their 1st party so huge that they wont have to try and overpay to make deals with other companies, that they can only start to rely on themselves.

@Banjo- yeah someone mentioned it in another article but they locked down Ghostwire and Deathloop, and tried to get Starfield and i bet MS was like "ok, enough is enough" and just bought it outright. They also kept getting exclusive content for ABK and probably tried to lock down more stuff and MS was just getting tired of it.
I've been told time and again exclusives sell consoles, if you want to play that game get the console, ect" Well, it's time to take that same advice on a platform that can be accessed through console, pc, cloud on any device. No reason not to jump in.
If you truly go where the games are, well, there they are then.

Hilarious. Clearly they haven't been noticing the price gouging done by competitors, nor do they know what a monopoly even is when they make comments like that. The gaming industry is so vast that thinking this is a monopoly for someone in third place is laughable at best. I can't wait to see where gaming goes now. It's exciting. Some people just want their plastic box to have all the preferential treatment. Not anymore.

@Kevw2006 that's your problem if you don't wanna use it on your mobile phone, but claiming you need to OWN something like you would a switch or ps5 game is funny to see. You can still find deals of game pass for a buck, or heck, free trials if you want so you pay nothing. Play it, and then unsubscribe. What's cheaper, $300-$500 console to play a game or something you can play for $1 or free on a console, a PC, or on a browser?

I'll let you do the math on that one.

@BAMozzy yeah i think instead of cherry picking and running with headlines like a lot of people do they need to watch the entire interviews he has done in the past. He, indeed, did say that the Bethesda Acquisition was about bringing great exclusive games to platforms where game pass exists, the gameindustry.biz article about games being everywhere was about console/pc/cloud at the same time instead of segmented, and they aren't taking away games from places that specific game exists (like you mentioned, online games) which COD is, single player games i expect to be exclusive.

I think many just want to be ignorant to the fact and don't look into things, just run with headlines and clipped quotes WAY too much.

Case-by-case. Is what it is. I don't think people understood the sit-down of (platforms where game pass exists).
