This is why i'm glad MS is buying up studios, so those studios can have a bigger budget to make stuff like this. Can't wait.

Them having the time to focus on the xbox and PC platform and make the game better is a win in my book. Keep it up Arkane!

@GamingFan4Lyf I am also going to be delving into Redfall before Zelda comes out, but (depending on campaign length) I should be done with Redfall by the time the other comes out, and then jump back into it again later after Zelda.

I've said it before, Arkane has never disappointed me. They are one of the best reasons that MS bought Zenimax and i can't WAIT to dive into this. I'll be there day 1!

@Kaloudz i think it's because it was on the game cube originally and i DID own a gamecube, but after it had been out a while and i only ever played metroid prime, a lot of smash melee, and the legend of zelda collection on it and that was pretty much it, spent most of my time on the ps2 and original xbox when it came out. I played the demo last week and already know i'll enjoy it. Looking forward to it!

@Kaloudz 2 and 3 remakes are awesome, and as someone who grew up in the 90s i actually NEVER played 4. So I'm in for a treat.

@Kaloudz yup, next few months are AWESOME! gonna get RE4 this weekend which will hold me over for a bit until ghostwire and whatever else is on game pass and then redfall comes out and will hold me over until Zelda. Ill be set.

@Kaloudz indeed, and i definitely buy more games (especially digitally) that arent on game pass than if i had no game pass so i consume more content on xbox for sure. if game pass didnt exist i may have switched to playstation as my primary this generation but that service is just too good to me.

@Kaloudz then again, the only thing i do with my subscriptions is buy a year of ultimate at a discount around black friday/christmas and put the code in on the console and im done with it. Rinse and repeat once a year lol

@Kaloudz i dont think so, i believe you had to go onto a web browser on your phone or computer to do certain things.

I'm just ready for this deal to go through and have my game pass explode with even more games. Ah i love it.

Been telling people it's inevitable. Once this is all done and the deal goes through the industry will move forward. Some will complain about it but it is what it is, just game and move on.

@AlwaysPlaying i get ultimate anyway, so the upper tier. I just wait for every black Friday and get the 3 months of ultimate (usually $45) is around $23 and stock up for a year.

@cburg That is correct, Bethesda and MS have a very storied history and were integral for Bethesda games on consoles early on with Morrowind, Oblivion ect. Not to mention playground games has been MS branded for years and Psychonauts 2 was inherently made better after MS acquired Double Fine. And yeah, looking at his comment history it's pointless to engage with people like that. Nobody wins in that regard lol.

@Kaloudz i love consolidation! And the best part is, more and more devs and studios pop up to replace others and the indie/double A scene has never been stronger. That's why everyone who screams "monopoly" can miss me with that talk. If they wanna play all these games? Buy an xbox, get a pc, or sit in the corner and don't play any of them. It's no show-friends, it's show-BUSINESS.

Never a doubt. I'll use the term everyone uses when the platform they enjoy gets game, "that's business, if you want to play all games own multiple platforms."

Can't wait. I effing love Gears! Putting a chainsaw to someone is one of the most satisfying things in gaming. That and headshots will always be the best.

There was already a free upgrade for this game a few years back which upped the frames to 60. Not sure i'll need ANOTHER upgrade ... Beaten it twice already.

can't wait for Redfall. I've thoroughly enjoyed all of Arkane's games and can't wait to jump in for more arkane!

@mousieone and you wonder why Microsoft is buying as much as they can and owning the IP/studios. Then we don't have to worry about that stuff. Not that i care about this series or this game (not gonna play it regardless). Square Enix is usually the biggest culprit.

It's Arkane, so you know i'll be there day 1.

As long as it plays like bioshock that's all i need. Looking forward to jumping in once I'm done with Crisis Core. Can't wait.

Good, beat Exodus twice, friggin great game. The Series X upgrade was also VERY well done.

@Banjo- Ah i remember playing the original dragon quest (dragon warrior) on the NES in the 80s. That game does NOT hold up lol.

I have beaten every main line Final Fantasy from 1-15 (except the MMO stile 11 and 14). Have also beaten tactics, 10-2, 13-2 and 13-3 and can confirm the SNES era ones just give the essence of Final Fantasy and what the series was all about. 2 and 3 are definitely my least favorite ones, those ones are rough, even though they came to the states later on with enhancements in the form of PS1/DS upgrades.

@Banjo- i've been blessed to play all the final fantasy games since they were new, started gaming in the late 80s. The SNES/PS1 era Final Fantasy games are easily the crème de la crème of the series. INCREDIBLE games that are also bumped up by tremendous nostalgia for me.

@Banjo- for better or worse, Final Fantasy has fallen off for me once Sakaguchi left and they merged with Enix, it isn't the same as it used to be. Actually, FF-13 was the last one i enjoyed, didnt like 15 and really only want the remasters. That's why I'm glad i have the switch so i can play those pixel remasters, those are my favorite FFs and hold up TREMENDOUSLY. 90s Square is on a whole 'nother level.

@Sakisa touché, games used to be just "games" back then, now it needs to be a technical marvel or push the medium usually.

Still can't get over how good hi-fi rush was. Loved it. I'd take out games such as persona 3/4, age of empires, monster hunter rise as far as awards go, not the acclaim, since they are just re-releases of games that came out before ... just on different hardware. Dead Space is questionable because although its classified as a remake is it VERY similar to the original. Hi-Fi and Hogwarts are shoe-in for GOTY contenders imo, however.

@Widey85 I remember buying it on ps4 and a sticker right on the front says (exclusive for 1 year). After the year went by, nothing. Yeah, if you're gonna be exclusive just say it. Save us all the trouble.

@Moby it’s just fake outrage dude. The same people make a mountain out of a molehill on this app when it wont effect anything. The fact that a console two generations ago still has its marketplace up is remarkable, not to mention a ton of the games are backwards compatible. Now it turns out it isnt closing in may. Most people dont actually care and it wont effect anything. Like others have said, if you haven’t played the game by now you probably wouldnt have anyway, and if it means that much to them go get it now. They wont.

If I haven't bought these in the 10+ years they've been available i clearly didn't want to play it. Not really upset about it in the least.
