Has Blizzard like many other devs stepped on rakes lately? Sure they have, but Blizzard was and still is on my short short list of all time favorites. It’s Nintendo and Blizzard and Rockstar that has IP’s that still excite me like a teenager all over again. Sure they mess up at times. But their games still pull me into their worlds like very few teams can. I can’t wait to see what’s cooking.
@Fiendish-Beaver Brother I CAN NOT WAIT for E-DAY!
Same i got a PS4 and PS5 and i play it maybe 4-5 times a year when a exclusive comes out and to your point i know it’s not good vaule i just like to own tech. I do play my Switch 2 more than i thought i would. I am playing RDR on it now and Mario Galaxy. I like the feel and size of the 2 over the OG switch. Think that helps. But yep, Xbox day one whenever it comes out and it will be my main as well brother. Enjoy all the games you can cause when E-Day hits that will take up a lot of your time.
@Fiendish-Beaver i think the reason it’s quiet is it simply just isn’t time right now. They need to get these big games out. Enjoy some console sales success with GTA 6. Cause that will move some Xbox’s. Celebrate thier anniversary show etc etc. no sense in showing it to early. Now they have talked about it which i enjoy. There are many sites showing it raw commute power from what they are building and working with AMD on. So this is normal next gen leak stuff. Now if it were 2027 and we didn’t hear and see more I’d be a little more confused. But i do think we see it in a year or two pending the RAM issues. Not only in price but just inventory. It’s all gone at the moment. I want to just say cause we are old enough to remember OG Xbox. Let me just remind you of someting and see if it helps at all. It does and doesn’t for me. But it’s true and you know i like to keep it Honest. HAHA
Back when OG Xbox came out PS2 was selling like crazy. And what did fans and industry people and not what say? Xbox is dead, MS failed, Xbox is over. Then 360 came and it got quiet and lots and i mean here in America LOTS of PS fans went Xbox. Then Xbox one and we know the PS Xbox guys went back to PS and what started back up? Xbox is dead, Xbox is over. Then the Series consoles came out and it’s the same thing Xbox is dead. These people have been saying Xbox is dead my friend for 25 years. Minus the 360 and here we are in a few years time away from a Xbox that has windows and can play everything. I know MS steps on rakes from time to time. I get it. But they haven’t done the one thing i am sure some inside MS are upset by and thats leave the hardware business in mobile. Cause once you leave hardware like they did with phones you can’t get back in. I know the phones weren’t selling well. It would have taken a bold move for them to gain some users. But once you leave it’s over over. I don’t think internally they want to do that with gaming. Wait it out until all the younger gamers are ready for cloud.
One more thing and i tell you all the die, you aren’t dying anytime soon, I’ll pray for it. You are a good friend of mine on here. Always have been. Even when we disagree we are bouncing different views and ideas to one another. But while you are here you deserve to game and be happy with whatever tech you choose going forward. You have supported Xbox from the beginning like me. If going forward you choose not to. I wouldn’t blame you. I’d be happy you are here and healthy enough to game and still enjoy its offering. You ain’t going no where and either is Xbox hardware and im sticking to it. HAHA
@Fiendish-Beaver i see and understand your point. But Xbox is still making money. .they have plans to make their Hardware profitable. They have deals with OEM hardware makers in place it’s been rumored. They likely shift into their Laptop business. Surface don’t sell like HP, Dell and Asus. But MS still makes a premium first party offering. Seems that is the direction of this PC/Console Xbox. Time will tell. To your point of just buy a PS. That’s fine, players can do that. It won’t hurt MS in software sales and they will still sell consoles to players that want their ecosystem even tho we agree that number is smaller and smaller each gen. I’m stuck, i can’t switch to PS only cause that controller hurts my left thumb in 30 mins or even less. For me it’s an awful experience, take Steam for an example they make lots of money on software and sell hardware that doesn’t even sell Xbox numbers and they are coming out with more hardware. MS will do the same cause it’s another storefront competing with Steam and others. While MS will make money on every hardware device there is by selling it’s games. As of now that is all i can go off of. They are to far along to not release the next Xbox. Rumors even point to it being shown off at this yeats big anniversary show. Once they do that it’s coming. But i get your points and i know 100% you don’t want Xbox to leave the console space. But all i can say is for the next 10 years i don’t have any reason to think they will. By then is it cloud and PC? Maybe. But maybe they release another PC/Xbox console. Hard to look out that far and say.
@Fiendish-Beaver i will tell you what i tell them on the other site when.i hear all Xbox games are on PS why need a Xbox? The same reason when MS makes a PC/Xbox hybrid why would i need a PS? All to most of PS5 games are on Steam. The more PC grows and takes over 3rd party sales from console i think that is the bigger concern moving forward alongside growing console prices.
MS and Phil has made the statement they know Xbox has a lot of gamers that like the console and they are for sure making not 1 but 2 new hardware devices. We know that means Console and handheld but wait there’s more. With PC Xbox’s now OEM can step in and make even more Xbox’s. So all of a sudden there is more hardware coming from MS and it’s partners then ever in the history of Xbox. So i am not worried about hardware going away. What i have always said is MS and Sony will stop making consoles the day that the majority of players are playing and happy with cloud. Thats still some time away, but not as far as many think. Then us 25-35 million hardcore gamers will play on PC. Thats the future, not saying i fully love it and not saying consoles will be completely gone but PS7 if a thing will look more like this next Xbox coming up then PS5 and PS6. Cause that is the storefronts and ecosystems younger kids are going too.
MS knows they aren’t going to outsell PS worldwide and they don’t need to, they need their studios making money and profits. While letting other devs worry about how they make money. But those other devs are playing attention and we are selling a platform with around 35 million users getting games that once weren’t on the platform, Final fantasy, Hell divers 2, Death stranding and more to come. That tells me devs know every million or two of sales matter and thus the Xbox is more alive than many think it is. Money is coming in and we all know MS don’t close things that make money and yes even tho less sales than we’d all like to see for Series consoles that is the main driver of money for MS gaming. Look at Battlefield 6, in the first 10 days it sold 1.5 on PS5, 1.2 on Xbox and thats with 2.5x less units and then 3.3 on steam. Those show that Xbox users do buy games and devs will be there. I think with all this said if you still like Xbox and its ecosystem you have nothing to worry about for a long time. As cloud won’t fully replace the box and carry over your library anytime soon.
@Llamageddon 2026 is looking to be a great software year. Now if we can just get the RAM prices down and away from AI data centers so hardware don’t keep going up that would be nice. Games wise it seems like a loaded year. Yeah some people don’t like one or the other layout, some don’t care and use both. But i love that we have choices. Enjoy what you are playing and give me a shout anytime!!
@Llamageddon Very well said. I completely agree. Lots of change is coming to the gaming industry which is always been the case. It always evolves and changes. I am happy to see more people get to play and enjoy. But i don’t like the PS5 controller enough to play anything more than a few exclusive Sony titles on PS5. I have never cared for Sony controllers since the PS1 days, but with PS1 and PS2 i had to use those controllers cause i didn’t have much choice were the software was at. Now with games being on every platform i can simply play were my left thumb don’t feel awful after 30 mins. I have nothing against PS consoles the same way i have nothing against Xbox’s. I like gaming. But having choice is nice and so is off set thumbs sticks for me. Now if Apple made a great console i might fanboy a little HAHA, i love Apple products since the OG pod. Again well said and written reply. I think we would talk industry talk well together new friend!!!
I got no time for this. I enjoy when teams take a creative risk. The industry is a lot of the same these days. So this is for sure some thing different. But i have no interest in it at all. Hope it’s fun for those that try it. Who knows crazier things have happened so maybe it finds a little player base that adores it. But seems to out there.
@OldGamer999 i was on that thread for a min and posted and left. You have high end Sony TV’s, I worked part time for years at Best Buy and sold high end TV’s, most of them were saying things that were so not true, i just avoided it due to lack of time and effort needed. Sony is not in great shape outside of PS. There TV business has been sliding down for 20 years. They went more high end premium but only for Cinema and not as much games. LG went hard on a gamer Tv and less on Cinema. But the Price Sony wanted for those TV’s was always off the mark, either there was a model in another brand better and cheaper or the model that the Sony was better it wasn’t leaps and bounds but the price was. Sad to see them need a partnership but it’s not surprising. If PS ever lost 15-20% of their revenue Sony would be overall in bad bad shape from a consumer electronics side.
@OldGamer999 the only reason they don’t want those games on other consoles is so they can pretend to belong to someting only they and other PS players can enjoy. Thats not a gamer. Remember back in the day when us gamers used to go to the Arcade and put tokens in to play? Imagine a kid walking up to the machine and asking to join the game and you said NO. Thats not a good feeling and this comes off to me as a little bit of that and they would lose all their internet babble and banter to haggle other gamers. Thats it, thats the only reason they don’t want that. Cause otherwise they pretend to care so much for Sony’s bottom line and PS success. But not if it comes at their expense of being jerks online to other gamers on other platforms. Sorry but i don’t support that and while Nintendo is Nintendo they are going to be in a pinch this generation if RAM prices push the Switch 2 out of little Jimmies and Kimmies parents price range. Hard to sell Switch software sales numbers when no one can afford Switch 2. Owning physical hardware in the future is looking to be very expensive and that could change a lot of where we see games at in the future. I appreciate you a lot and you know that. I know you speak your mind on here and other sites. Nothing you are saying is coming from a place to take away from gamers or the platforms. Heck you own them all like me. But be very careful trying to get the PS kids to share their snacks. They don’t play nice. HAHAHA
This Show was all about Fable for me, i love the first 2 on 360 and while the 3rd was just ok, i played it and beat it to finish the Trilogy. But Playground games is a top tier dev team. I knew they would deliver with Fable but i still wanted to see what they were cooking and it looks stunning. I don’t buy many single player games at full price. No need to really. But this one is day one for me. I thought the open world and graphics were amazing and dare i say the first open world I’ve been super excited to explore since RDR2. That would be a lot to live up to but i am expecting Fable to wow me in many ways.
@OldGamer999 MS has been a Publisher for a while now and it’s great to see. Games should be in more places to play and the money trail shows it works. Sony won’t sit back for the next 10-15 years and not look to more places to support. In fact they have said PC is more and more important to them. As it should be PC gaming is leading the way in software sales for most 3rd party games. Hell Divers 2 without PC would have been a mid selling game. PC carried that title. MS and other companies has given up on one platform games and while Nintendo kind of can’t do that if they want to stay in Hardware Sony can. Sony bringing its games to other platforms will not stop people from walking into a store and buying a PS console. The same way MS games going to PS won’t stop me from buying an Xbox.
@GamingGod Yeah i would agree with all those you mentioned. You can see and even feel the difference. I agree with you on that. However certain games i really wanted to be that good or better on Pro were a dud and that is not the hardware cause we know it can do it. That is dev’s not taking the time or having the money and time etc etc. i never played the Final Fantasy on PS5 but i watch the pro review on that game and holy smokes it was night and day difference as well, not sure if you played that one or not. It looked like PS5 vs a PC it was that much of a difference. I think that was the first big standout on Pro. So i was like i gotta trade or sell my base PS5 for a Pro and then i did and most the games i like or just average at best on Pro. But hey it’s not all lost cause this FSR.4 update could really turn it around for all games. I just wish i liked the controller more, it just don’t jive with me for shooters and faster paced games. Slower games it’s fine enough.
I play less games these days and put more time into the ones i really like. So a subscription isn’t a good investment for me. But in 2026 Gamepass will have some huge titles coming to it and could be great for the right users. Really hoping the next console we don’t need to pay for online since it’s more a PC. That would be a blessing.
@GamingGod on assassin creed it made it look like a whole new game. That was impressive. Most games it’s a eh. Digital Foundary videos on Pro are something i watch a lot and it’s been so so. However i am excited for the FSR 4 patch to PSSR. That could make the Pro very capable. Should be out before March they said. Could be great or devs still don’t get it and this gen is over by the time they do. But it will improve the PS6 and next Xbox as they both will be using it from day 1
@oopsiezz Sony’s PS5 Pro has been a mixed bag if you follow it. I wanted it to be leaps over the base consoles and for a few games it is. Problem is some games on Pro have been reported as worse than base consoles. With many games showing very little upgrade which tells me PSSR isn’t ready and the devs still barely take the time for Pro models. Be it time and resources or it having the lower install base or what not. But PS5 Pro has left even some of the hardest hardcore PS hardware fans saying WTF? So i am not missing the Xbox Series X Pro like i thought i would be a few years back. If you are i understand just wanted to remind players that the Pro console this gen is not what it was last gen where it was mostly always an upgrade over base and fairly easy for the average eye to see.
Some will complain about this, but that box isn’t intended for Ray tracing and full scale production. It’s a Honda Civic, good price and it get’s you from A-B, you want the sports car you pay for the sports car. That said i think the S has held its weight, just stinks the Ram issues are driving the price up on it to a point it’s not a good investment like it once was. Next up will be the Switch, rumors of it hitting $599 by years end would also really limit it’s reach and ask the question if the tech inside is worth it. I have 2 Series X and never had the S but always thought it ran most things well within reason.
Exclusives are dying. MS is just the first of the console makers to do it. Sony exes keep hinting at their games coming to PC sooner and other platforms being needed to grow IP’s. Nintendo of course will be the last hold out. But with RAM prices raising the cost of hardware. It’s likely to see many teams want their games on more platforms. Then the whole question is will consumers even be able to afford compute power in the future. All these companies are going to try and get you into cloud services sooner than later. As raw hardware is going to be to costly for mass appeal. I for one enjoy the fact that exclusivity is in its wind down stage. More games in more places is great news.
I love my Switch 2. It’s just what i wanted. A more powerful and well built Switch. But i have no reason to be excited for COD on it. I would love to see MS bring some other titles to it tho. I am sure in time they will.
@Xboxian360 I would be all for that but the issue is Xbox never was, likely never will be and surely isn’t currently bigger install base than PS. So to make $200-$400 million dollar games and lock it to one box when that one box is the smaller install base isn’t math that will keep them going. People aren’t going to just sell off their PS4 PS5 and PS6 cause MS has exclusives. So MS needs the PC and PS5 even tho much like you I wish it didn’t. At least for the core franchises. Halo, Gears and Forza and Fable. But here we are. Still I love Xbox as the better place to play and I am a fan for life. 😀
For everyone that wants Xbox to go out of the hardware business or PS to go out of Hardware etc etc. this right here shows what competition does. Without a good BF6 game that sold over 10 million copies. We aren’t getting this from COD. Not saying they don’t have plan for the future of the series. Sure they do and it will be much better when they leave PS4 and XBOX ONE behind.but we need more hardware, we need more software and we need more new fresh ideas to drive the industry as a WHOLE forward. Sure sometimes trying a new idea fails, but sometimes it doesn’t. People acting like the next Xbox console is already dead, you know be right. It won’t outsell PS6, it will be pricey but who knows maybe they lean on OEM’s to build different price points. Like they do with their in house Surface line vs OEM hardware. But my point is we should be cheering on completion and new ideas. Trust me as a first person shooter fan, COD hasn’t talked like this in over a decade, and big shock BF hasn’t been great in 10 years.
@ZYDIO that is possible HAHA. I suppose thats how they get it to look so good in the first place. Then resell it to us with 60 fps. RDR2 on a high end PC with all setting turned up looks almost real. It’s crazy, i almost bought a PC to play it that way. But i try and stick to consoles. It’s what i know and like best. But some games on PC look insane if the rig is powerful enough. RDR2 is one of those games.
@Chip-Douglas i am so right there with you on that. Suppose to be coming after this say’s the best industry leaker. Sure hope he is right. Switch 2 will be getting RDR2 as well, which makes sense. It’s unlikely to run 60 but even getting the base RDR2 on Switch 2 is a win. But for Series X and PS5, it can handle 60 with slightly better distance and loading. Time will tell but i can’t wait to play this tomorrow.
Favorite IP in gaming. I know i will be waiting a long time for RDR3. But i will for sure play this on Series X and will be buying it on Switch 2 also.
I will be playing this tomorrow on Series X but also want to snag a copy for Switch 2. I’d love for the rumors of RDR 2 getting an update in 2026 before GTA 6 and a Switch 2 version of RDR 2. Favorite IP in gaming so i would get it for sure on both platforms.
Even that controller layout looks better to me than the Dual Sense. I kid i kid, sort of. Not a Croc guy, but i am sure these will sell out. I almost want to buy them just to collect and never wear.
Something to consider. I was thinking about this not to long ago. Look at some of the best games of the 360 and PS3 era, whats someting i noticed they all have in common. They were being made by a bunch of people that were gamers themselves and made games they wanted to play and that gamers alike wanted to play. Once big tech and Corporations seen the money being made they jumped in and axed those people and made games with profit in mind. Take one of my favorite IP’s of all time. Diablo, Diablo 1-2 were made by guys that were gamers. They were in Northern California away from the other parts of southern cali Blizzard. Once Diablo 2 become a cult classic. Southern cali took over, and treated the northern team like idiots and made Diablo 3. A game that had real money auctions and bad Loot. That told me all i needed to know. Look at Claire’s 33, gamers that left Ubi and said let’s make a gamers type game. This is why games now don’t really speak to us hardcore players.
@themightyant Shorter games that didn't outstay their welcome with grind
I tend to always agree with what you say, but this one i 1000% agree. Why does every game have to have 10-20 hours of filler junk just to say it’s a 30-40 plus hour game? So they can sell it for more money? You wouldn’t need that extra money if you didn’t spend the money making 10 plus hours of junk no one wants to do. Take FF16 for an example. I thought it was really good. But the side quests were so boring and bland and added next to nothing that the fans call it out. Sell me a 12-16 hour game for $50 bucks. Respect my time and the story being told.
As always i agree with you and your list was spot on as usual!
@Titntin i mean they have said they have hardware in development, they have a public contract with AMD for those devices. I mean the internet goons have created such a loud and yet wrongful take on Xbox is out of hardware or the next machine will be $1500 dollars well before we are even in the window of announcing a next gen. It’s not time to unveil those plans in full yet and as for price, once Xbox becomes more like a PC, and they get this Xbox OS and windows light version going, there has already been talks about OEM Xbox’s, much like we have with PC’s. So if first party Surface computers are to expensive for the average person they do what? Not buy a windows PC? No they get a HP or Dell at the price and specs they can afford and still enjoy. Well if the next Xbox is say $800-$1200 and that is to much for some, maybe Asus, Dell, Razer etc etc licenses out the windows and XBox OS and makes a $600 dollar unit. This gives MS and the console space a lot of choice and their software moves with them anywhere they go vs a closed ecosystem. To me a lot of us should be cheering that on and i see many on here not you. But many ask for better pricing and flexibility. I like what she had to say. PS6, Xbox and Switch will all be doing something different and finally give us a reason to own more consoles if we choose to. My expections for next generation gaming is exciting. As this generation has been good but not great for me.
@Banjo- 60 for RDR2 would be my dream gaming news day. I ain’t giving up hope. As for the first game. It’s a master piece. I never got to play it at 60. When it came out on PS5 at 60 i was so close to buying it. Then i thought to myself, you aren’t going to want to stop playing this game in 35-40 mins and i know that controller is going to hurt my wrist and left thumb in that time or sooner. So i passed. That controller on PS5 and my hands do not like each other. I ain’t fan boying for MS, i am simply saying my favorite game of all time at 60fps couldn’t even make me want to use the Dual Sense. Haha
I want to be clear in my answer, I HAVE ZERO INTEREST IN THIS. Not enough power, and the controller looks like trash!! I do think Steam is great for PC, i understand its popularity and importance in the PC space. But the next Xbox Spec wise will eat this device alive and before i hear but but the price. Well this is a hobby with different price points for a reason. I have the money to be a 5080 gamer so why would i buy a 3070? I wanted this device to be powerful and have a great controller etc etc. but what was shown is a HARD NO for me!! Next Gen Xbox and maybe PS6, i have bought every PS, but lately i play less and less titles from Sony and i have never loved a PS controller in my life. I use them, but like them? Not a chance.
@Romans12 no team works like they used too. That was my point. Devs just can’t seem to get games out at the rate we seen on Xbox 360 and other platforms. It sucks for sure. But announcements don’t mean much cause they can stay in pre production states for years. Then still take multiple years to make. Just the way of the hobby now.
I love my Series X and i have a PS5 and a Switch 2. I like those as well, but my Series X get’s 75% of my gaming time per week i not closer to 85% when there isn’t much going on on the other 2. For my gaming, the Series X has the best Ui and controller. I prefer the network compared to Sony’s. free cloud saves etc etc. i could nit pick about all 3 if I wanted to but instead i decide to like them for what they are good at and hardware wise i think all 3 are well made. I am looking forward to the next Xbox and will be there day 1 as i have most of my games on Xbox.
@CallMeDuraSouka by chance have you ever played a ES game? I mean it’s not something you just throw together like bread annd butter and have players complete in 15 hours. These are epic set pieces and huge worlds to create and we don’t even know when they got heavily started on it. Luckily we got a huge roadmap of games coming in 2026 to keep us busy.
@CallMeDuraSouka sadly this is game development now for lots of teams. Games simply take to long to create. We are seeing less and less games from top talent teams per console generation. ES6 would be a big title for Xbox and PC if they keep it timed like they did with SF.
@Nightcrawler71 i so hope we get RDR2 remastered for Series X. Day one day for me. It’s still rumored to be real and coming. Nate the hate said it and he is the best of the best leakers and insiders.
@Fiendish-Beaver the reason PS is no longer competiton to Xbox is cause PS consoles can play Halo Gears and Forza. So as long as you aren’t on social media and playing PS there is money to be made for MS studios there. Forza Horizon 5 sold big numbers for MS on PS. Halo will likely do the same. So it’s other forms of media they can’t make a dollar off of.
@NeoRatt you are more than right on that. It’s the part of the internet i dislike so much. There has to be someone to dislike and think everything they say is wrong. Even when they are saying the same thing as others. It’s childish and makes people look bad. But here we are with it. Well said tho buddy.
Surely i ain’t the only one that remembers Shawn Layden saying this over a year ago right? Lord it gets tiring doing everyone’s homework. Click the link and read and then enlighten me with nonsense.
@Banjo- i have been saying on here for years now, the END game for both Sony and MS is Cloud. But Cloud is not ready yet to be mainstream. When it is the person that buys a PS console to play FIFA with his buddies will not buy hardware. The hardcore will be on PC devices for the power to push Fidelity and performance. When we will see this shift that is hard to say, i don’t have that answer of course. But thats the end game. Xbox is at an advantage cause they can have OEM’s and even themselves if they choose to make PC/Console devices and likely have them run windows so they can be used for work/School as a gaming PC does now. Things could change but i have always seen the end game as getting the players that buy 1-2 games a year on cloud and reduce the amount of hardware needed.
Today’s news was awesome. I am really liking this shift and look so forward to seeing the hardware in action. The UI, controller designs name all of it is exciting to me. .
@Banjo- i am loving today’s news, let me just start with that my brother. Now as has been said Xbox is focused on platform the same as Steam is focused on platform. Steam OS and Xbox Os is the new hot space shaping up on PC handhelds. ROG like you said is a different thing from the Xbox handheld. Plus it was a way for MS to see what a Windows light edition would do for performance, battery life etc. so it will give their team a lot of info going into future projects. As for the next Xbox i always expected what was rumored a year or so ago. High end console and yes that means expensive and likely not or everyone’s wallet but i expect the handheld Xbox to be dockable and be in the price range that most would go for. Sure it will be less powerful and all but it is the same thing Sony is looking to do. They are going to have a dockable PS handheld. Likely to be the cheaper option. I for one am loving the idea of a next gen Xbox. I want it to be powerful and have a great new Ui and experience. I will pay whatever the cost cause i love the ecosystem. My local Best Buy is sold out of the ROG Ally X and it’s back ordered until December. So yes they did sell fairly well. I was told my local store had 30 plus on launch day and they are all sold out. Reviews for it has been very very good. I fully expect the next piece of hardware from MS to be impressive as well.
They never cancelled it. They shifted attention to complete the ROG but Phil never said cancelled. In fact Phil said the team has multiple hardware plans in place. Even when they announced the AMD deal it was said to be used for multiple devices. That would be the handheld i would get. Also today’s news about the next gen Xbox is chef’s kiss. That is the type of device i really want. I can’t wait to see and hear more on it in the coming months and year ahead.
@OldGamer999 i agree and have been saying that. PS is a worldwide brand that is like Nike, they aren’t just going to lose the casual market cause God of War a game causals don’t even buy is on XBox and PC. But they would make more money. Ghost of Yotei sales are trending way behind Ghost of T. Been said some is not happy with western development teams and the cost vs return profit. Things are changing at Sony they just aren’t as vocal to the public as MS about it. I do think Sony wants much higher sales on these games and most people buying a PS are getting a few sports games and some free to play titles. With MS and Steam going more into the handheld and living room space lots of Sony titles are already going to be playable off a PS console and i don’t see it hurting them all that much. The only thing that can in time hurt Sony is PC gaming is trending super fast and most hardcore gamers are switching and Mobile getting younger kids away from Console in the future. But that is still some time away. I would love to be able to play some Sony titles on my Xbox cause i like the controller a lot more than Sony’s. Time will tell, things change in this industry all the time. 😊
@cburg i too am a huge College football fan and i am in Texas, so my Longhorns aren’t not as good as we all thought them to be. Penn State and Texas started the season in the top 3. Penn State will get another solid coach i am sure. Unfortunately James just lost to many big games and then back to back games that should have been easy wins. Sad to see. Hang in there buddy, and enjoy some of the great games coming out. Holler if you need me, always here for ya brother.

Re: Poll: How Would You Grade 2026's Xbox Developer Direct?
HAHA
Re: Poll: How Would You Grade 2026's Xbox Developer Direct?
Re: Poll: How Would You Grade 2026's Xbox Developer Direct?
Re: Poll: How Would You Grade 2026's Xbox Developer Direct?
@Llamageddon 2026 is looking to be a great software year. Now if we can just get the RAM prices down and away from AI data centers so hardware don’t keep going up that would be nice. Games wise it seems like a loaded year. Yeah some people don’t like one or the other layout, some don’t care and use both. But i love that we have choices. Enjoy what you are playing and give me a shout anytime!!
Re: Poll: How Would You Grade 2026's Xbox Developer Direct?
Re: Double Fine's 'Kiln' Revealed As The Surprise Game At Xbox Developer Direct 2026
Re: Poll: How Would You Grade 2026's Xbox Developer Direct?
Re: Poll: How Would You Grade 2026's Xbox Developer Direct?
HAHAHA
Re: Poll: How Would You Grade 2026's Xbox Developer Direct?
This Show was all about Fable for me, i love the first 2 on 360 and while the 3rd was just ok, i played it and beat it to finish the Trilogy. But Playground games is a top tier dev team. I knew they would deliver with Fable but i still wanted to see what they were cooking and it looks stunning. I don’t buy many single player games at full price. No need to really. But this one is day one for me. I thought the open world and graphics were amazing and dare i say the first open world I’ve been super excited to explore since RDR2. That would be a lot to live up to but i am expecting Fable to wow me in many ways.
Re: Poll: How Would You Grade 2026's Xbox Developer Direct?
Re: Assassin's Creed Shadows Almost Had Full Ray Tracing On Xbox Series S, But Its RAM Caused Issues
Re: Talking Point: How Do You Feel About Xbox Game Pass In 2026?
I play less games these days and put more time into the ones i really like. So a subscription isn’t a good investment for me. But in 2026 Gamepass will have some huge titles coming to it and could be great for the right users. Really hoping the next console we don’t need to pay for online since it’s more a PC. That would be a blessing.
Re: Assassin's Creed Shadows Almost Had Full Ray Tracing On Xbox Series S, But Its RAM Caused Issues
But it will improve the PS6 and next Xbox as they both will be using it from day 1
Re: Assassin's Creed Shadows Almost Had Full Ray Tracing On Xbox Series S, But Its RAM Caused Issues
Re: If Forza Horizon 6's Leaked Launch Date Is Real, Xbox's 2026 Schedule Is Shaping Up Very Nicely
@TheGameThrifter Xbox makes the year even better for PS5 owners!
I read this and got nervous. I thought oh no, MS is making Sad Dad simulators now too? Sure glad i jump to that conclusion only to be wrong.
Re: Assassin's Creed Shadows Almost Had Full Ray Tracing On Xbox Series S, But Its RAM Caused Issues
Re: Another Source Reveals What They Know About The 'Secret' Xbox Developer Direct Game
Re: Rumour: Xbox 'Nearly Done' With First Version Of Call Of Duty For Nintendo Switch
I love my Switch 2. It’s just what i wanted. A more powerful and well built Switch. But i have no reason to be excited for COD on it. I would love to see MS bring some other titles to it tho. I am sure in time they will.
Re: Report: Xbox CFO Moves To Zenimax As Part Of New Leadership Changes
Re: Gears Of War: E-Day Confirmed For 2026 In New Xbox Game Pass Ad
Love the music. 2026 is going to be great!!
Re: Xbox & Activision Issue Statement On The Future Of Call Of Duty Following Black Ops 7 Backlash
Re: Hands On: Red Dead Redemption For Xbox Series X Makes A Great First Impression
Re: Hands On: Red Dead Redemption For Xbox Series X Makes A Great First Impression
@ZYDIO i can’t even image how great that will look. RDR2 still looks great on a console that wasn’t even that powerful.
Re: Here's What The Red Dead Redemption Upgrade Looks Like On Xbox Series X|S
@Chip-Douglas i am so right there with you on that. Suppose to be coming after this say’s the best industry leaker. Sure hope he is right. Switch 2 will be getting RDR2 as well, which makes sense. It’s unlikely to run 60 but even getting the base RDR2 on Switch 2 is a win. But for Series X and PS5, it can handle 60 with slightly better distance and loading. Time will tell but i can’t wait to play this tomorrow.
Re: Hands On: Red Dead Redemption For Xbox Series X Makes A Great First Impression
Favorite IP in gaming. I know i will be waiting a long time for RDR3. But i will for sure play this on Series X and will be buying it on Switch 2 also.
Re: Here's What The Red Dead Redemption Upgrade Looks Like On Xbox Series X|S
I will be playing this tomorrow on Series X but also want to snag a copy for Switch 2. I’d love for the rumors of RDR 2 getting an update in 2026 before GTA 6 and a Switch 2 version of RDR 2. Favorite IP in gaming so i would get it for sure on both platforms.
Re: Xbox Crocs Are A Thing Now, And They're Going On Sale This Tuesday
Even that controller layout looks better to me than the Dual Sense. I kid i kid, sort of. Not a Croc guy, but i am sure these will sell out. I almost want to buy them just to collect and never wear.
Re: Seven Things We Miss About The Xbox 360 Era In 2025
@xboxjapanfan @swedetrap
Re: Seven Things We Miss About The Xbox 360 Era In 2025
@themightyant Shorter games that didn't outstay their welcome with grind
Re: Seven Things We Miss About The Xbox 360 Era In 2025
My favorite console of all time.
Re: Sarah Bond Insists Hardware Is 'Absolutely Core' To Xbox, Teases Powerful Next-Gen Console
Re: Red Dead Redemption To Receive Free Xbox Series X|S Upgrade This December
Haha
Re: Talking Point: What Does The 'Steam Machine' Mean For Xbox's Next-Gen Console Plans?
Re: Todd Howard Talks Progress On Elder Scrolls 6 And Teases 'Other Things We're Doing'
Re: It's A Big Birthday For The Xbox Series X, So Let's Look Back At Our Review From 2020
I love my Series X and i have a PS5 and a Switch 2.
Re: Todd Howard Talks Progress On Elder Scrolls 6 And Teases 'Other Things We're Doing'
Re: Todd Howard Talks Progress On Elder Scrolls 6 And Teases 'Other Things We're Doing'
@CallMeDuraSouka sadly this is game development now for lots of teams. Games simply take to long to create. We are seeing less and less games from top talent teams per console generation. ES6 would be a big title for Xbox and PC if they keep it timed like they did with SF.
Re: It's Official, Rockstar Games Has Delayed GTA 6 To November 2026
@Nightcrawler71 i so hope we get RDR2 remastered for Series X. Day one day for me. It’s still rumored to be real and coming. Nate the hate said it and he is the best of the best leakers and insiders.
Re: Microsoft CEO Says Xbox 'Wants To Innovate' With Its Next-Gen Console
@Fiendish-Beaver the reason PS is no longer competiton to Xbox is cause PS consoles can play Halo Gears and Forza. So as long as you aren’t on social media and playing PS there is money to be made for MS studios there. Forza Horizon 5 sold big numbers for MS on PS. Halo will likely do the same. So it’s other forms of media they can’t make a dollar off of.
Re: Xbox Has More Competition From TikTok Than PlayStation, Claims Microsoft Exec
@NeoRatt you are more than right on that. It’s the part of the internet i dislike so much. There has to be someone to dislike and think everything they say is wrong. Even when they are saying the same thing as others. It’s childish and makes people look bad. But here we are with it. Well said tho buddy.

Re: Microsoft Reportedly Still Has Plans To Make Its Own Xbox Handheld
The UI, controller designs name all of it is exciting to me. .
Re: Microsoft Reportedly Still Has Plans To Make Its Own Xbox Handheld
Re: Xbox Journalist Says Microsoft Has Another Showcase Planned For November 2025
@IronCrow86 that would be the 2026 showcase. Which is shaping up to be a massive one as it’s the big anniversary.
Re: Microsoft Reportedly Still Has Plans To Make Its Own Xbox Handheld
They never cancelled it. They shifted attention to complete the ROG but Phil never said cancelled. In fact Phil said the team has multiple hardware plans in place. Even when they announced the AMD deal it was said to be used for multiple devices. That would be the handheld i would get. Also today’s news about the next gen Xbox is chef’s kiss. That is the type of device i really want. I can’t wait to see and hear more on it in the coming months and year ahead.
Re: Review: ROG Xbox Ally X - An Amazing Handheld PC With Plenty Of Console-Like Potential
