@Kaloudz the reason they won’t just load up a game on their console and enjoy it is because they have 2 hobbies, playing video games and making fun of people that play video games. If all these games were only on. Xbox there would be Xbox people (not us) trolling PS fans, PS fans love to troll the internet cause the hardware sells good. How dare someone like myself that buys all 3 consoles but prefers the Xbox controller have that opinion. Which is just silly, be happy i spend money in the industry and keep it moving. I have always had all the consoles when i was a kid and started playing i had a SNES and Genesis and kids always wanted to come to my house and play the one they didn’t have. What happened to those days, now it’s you are a lesser gamer for owing them all cause you own one that the other person don’t like and they will troll you. Thats weak.
@themightyant You make some great points and i agree. Look at Assassins Creed Shadows, it sold better on console than PC with the PS5 leading the way in sales over Xbox. Which is kind of a no brainer with a 2-1 lead. However then there was the new Monster Hunter which was poorly optimized and it did gangbusters on PC at launch. So it’s a little game by game. HD2 sold better on PC than on PS5. As for where is PC growing it’s everywhere from what i see, to my surprise in Japan PC is growing a lot and that surprises me for some reason. Black Myth Wukong sold 10 million copies with 7.5 being on PC and 2.5 on PS5. So there is the China and Asia data you stated. I just don’t see PS5 being hurt bringing their games to PC sooner and they have hinted at PC being more important going forward, as to what that means we don’t know yet. I think Great games do more numbers not being closed to a single box, unless you are Nintendo. Nintendo is the true exclusive left in the industry. But i am just now starting to look forward to next gen hardware and the Xbox will need to separate itself with more and more of it’s games being on all platforms and Phil has hinted that he wants the hardware to be exciting for players to want it. Time will tell like you said.
@x3King84 nothing wrong with that.but you are the exception not the rule. The sales data shows most PC players stick to PC and for sure favor steam to all the other store fronts. I think it’s cool that you support both PC and Console. But again just know that’s not common.
@themightyant but did you read my point about the data shows PC gamers will just wait, they won’t buy a PS5. So it’s not hurting Sony’s business. If it works for live service games (Hell Divers 2) it will work for Spider-Man 3. There is more money to be made on the PC. PC gaming is growing and often times is more profitable for devs, console sales are staying around the same as they always have. Therefore if Sony would like to make more money they will need the PC market, why not grab that cash a little earlier. Which i think they will going forward, likely not day and date but for sure around 6 months or so if they have the manpower to port it. Which lately they have had some iffy launches on PC. An area they need to improve on and they will be just fine. Yes i agree with you on how MS is making their money. I look for them to make a ton of money this year as the June Showcase is rumored to show Gears of War trilogy remastered and shadow drop it on Series X, PC and PS5. That will sell boat loads. Crazy how many titles MS can put out now.
@Fiendish-Beaver i am concerned some for Hardware from MS, but they are committed to it. Phil said in the future they need to make hardware people want to play games on. So that tells me they are going to do something very different with the next Xbox to get players on board with it. Cause if they just release another Series X, than yes PS will just chew that up. Now what could they do differently to make Xbox hardware exciting within a reasonable dollar amount? I have no idea. But that does make the next Xbox showing very exciting and nervous as they have to really hit on whatever idea they are planning. Then we get to the idea of MS not even making Xbox hardware. Think Asus Handheld, and other OEM’s making Xbox PC/Console hardware. That’s another angle for them to leverage to have Xbox hardware in the stores for people wanting to play on that ecosystem. So Hardware is the next thing Xbox has to tackle. Cause Software wise they are crushing everyone with releases. They got great services, Ui, features like Quick resume, great controllers, they just need that IT factor that put’s some eyes on their hardware. That going to be hard but it’s the only area they are not doing great in. That’s a lot of work from what the Xbox One had. They had a software problem. That’s been fixed, now can they fix the hardware if so they are truly in a great place and by fix the hardware i don’t mean outsell the PS6, that won’t happen, but can it sell in the 60 million range maybe even closer to 70 million range, that would be a huge increase. Time will tell. The industry needs competition, so we all should be hoping MS does get a plan around moving more hardware units.
@Fiendish-Beaver Yeah i do agree that they need to be careful with some titles day and date on PS. It could make it even harder to sell Xbox’s. I would keep Gears of War E day for 6 months at least. Thats a system seller type game. But Oblivion remaster, that was smart to do day 1. Doom also a start day one. Halo, Gears and Forza and Elder scrolls 6 could all be held back to sell systems and i do think that would be smart. With other titles like Fallout remaster coming day and date. So much like Phil said games would be on a game to game case. Maybe we are starting to see that.
@Kaloudz i agree, i have been criticized heavily for saying Sony should do the same for its PC releases. Ride the wave of excitement and get more sales on day 1. People that game on PC only are not going to buy a PS5 for a single player game. They will wait and the data has shown time and time before they wait until it’s on steam. An example Kingdom Hearts came out on Epic game store and the game didn’t sell, a year later it came to Steam and shot up the charts. So if PC players would even use a different Store and launcher does Sony really think they will buy a PS5?
Same for MS, most PS5 users aren’t looking to buy a Xbox so why make them wait on the game. Get the money will the game is riding hot. I believe in time they will do this, Sony will be stubborn and petty with the PC releases for a while longer tho.
@Kaloudz i agree it’s a great time right now. I just finished South of Midnight. Now onto Oblivion. Fanboys in any hobby are bad but video games is the worst fanboy. So i know what you are saying.
@Kaloudz i really like the art style, i know the gunplay will be great. But the genre of extraction shooter is right there with battle royal for BOOOORING! I can’t do it. I need a fast paced shooter. This isn’t it so for that i am out. As for if it will do well or not. I don’t know. Likely to not do huge numbers but i would suspect a player base to be there at launch. PC might keep it going for a while.but again i like fast paced smaller map shooters. With Gears of War PVP coming back soon there is 0% chance I’d play this. This could make it 14 failed live service games for Sony in one generation. That has to be a record.
I got a 55 inch LG C3 and a 65 inch C2. Love the TV’s. Oled is just so much better. It stinks a little bit that Switch 2 ain’t Oled. But i am sure in time they will release one and i will buy it for sure. Love gaming on Oled. If i finish my 5080 build i want a Oled monitor as well. Cool to see games coming to Cloud over a TV. I do believe cloud will get better and better but for now it’s not something i use on my Series X, PS5 or Switch.
@TheGameThrifter you mean renting or buying digitally. Cause thats an option alongside Gamepass. Physical media is dead as retailers continue to shrink its store space of games. Heck even Nintendo got in on the digital push saying you are buying a key on most the carts.
@Kaloudz The fact is a lot of Sony fans made claims that Gamepass would just be live service games, indies and low budget titles. They drank that kool aid for as long as they could. Now they find themselves BUYING not just playing all the games Xbox Gamepass subscribers are playing. That starts to make them think what value we are getting compared to them. Not saying they are looking to sell their PS5’s and buy a Series X. But the fact that they have to look at GP differently than what they thought is the start of GP being in the minds of all players. Thats where a service or storefront starts out winning customers over time. Just the fact they have to start doing the math alone say’s all that needs to be said. Whether one day they switch over is again anyone’s guess. But to say GP is a waste of money is straight off their rocker talk. Because of GP i am 720 some GB away from filling up my 3TB Series X, something i wouldn’t have done without GP. I am going to laugh when June showcase add’s another 3-4 games plus Ninja Gaiden to GP and those games along with all the others are top of the pre order list on PS5. Wether you like McDonald’s or Burger King MS makes money cause they own the Cows and potatoes hahaha!
@Titntin i am right there with ya. I am hoping to land a pre order on a Switch 2 with Mario Kart bundled. I will sell my Switch Oled and that alone helps. Going to be good! Enjoy it!!
@Titntin nothing is a waste of money if it brings you and others you love joy. Infact i would say it sounds like a good investment cause you both will enjoy your selves. My wife will play Mario Kart and a Forza Horizon on Xbox with me. Opposite of your wife mine hates the size and button layout of PS controllers so she don’t touch that. The software is finally starting to roll out this gen and with Switch 2 coming it’s only going to get better.
As for 2027 it is rumor that Sony and MS will go in 2027. It makes sense, it’s 7 years which is what Xbox One and PS4 did. So i don’t see that being a problem for either to hit. Xbox has the more exciting hardware plans as it seems to be heading a new direction. But i am excited to see a more Powerful PS in the PS6 and getting FSR4 on there. Should be a nice upgrade for both platforms. 😀
@Fiendish-Beaver so a few things, No i can’t say if Gamepass is right for you, but i can ask you if you plan on playing any of the games it has? Cause if you look at what non PC or Xbox platforms could be wanting to play it could be more than what GP cost right now on PS they are buying up Forza, 33, Indy and Oblivion. That is more than what i paid for the year of GP. So it depends if you think that is good value or not. But over 30 million on Xbox do think that to be great value and that number in years time is likely to grow as these heavy hitters keep coming to the service. If thats right for you or not i can’t say that.
We don’t know if the next Xbox is the last or not. Heck in that time we could all be playing on cloud. Then who holds the IP’s that make money? Sony or MS?
As for Sony buying 3rd party titles, i don’t see it, i see the opposite. I see more 3rd party titles selling better by being on all platforms day 1. Even the dev teams themselves (Square) (Capcom) etc etc saying their titles are making more money on PC and Monster hunter launching on all platforms lead to it being the biggest launch in the series history. I don’t see them taking a Sony deal to be locked to a closed box. No way. So sorry but i disagree with you on that.
The only swapping i am seeing the most is console players leaving consoles and going to PC. So it’s to early to tell what the next round of console sales will look like. But one thing is for sure the younger crowd coming in is not platform loyal and the don’t love the closed expensive boxes (consoles) nearly as much as we did as kids that had no other options. So again not enough data on that claim.
My point is MS shifted to a strategy that is making money and lots of it. They are bringing back games that those studios would have not spent the money on. Which is good for all gamers. Meanwhile PS5 is hellbent on live service games which will come to PC day and date, their single player games are timed exclusives until going to PC, thats the strategy for them. I don’t see either side going away using these plans. Phil has said box is in the name of Xbox and there will be consoles as long as players play on consoles. They might even start making more Xbox’s with OEM’s. I would easily pay $1200 for a Razer Xbox with killer specs and full windows bootable. That is something Sony can’t leverage. They don’t have OEMS and windows. So it’s a little early to start saying Xbox is out of the hardware game. But one thing is for sure they are COOKING every service out there with GP. There is no reason to believe it will slow down with the June showcase around the way.
I mean it has 40% moire GPU power than the base models. It should show nice performance enhancements. These games will all see big boosts next gen with PS6 and next Xbox. This is why i say 2027 is not to early for the next consoles as they will give the devs the power they need and us the experiences we want. I’m looking forward to next gen hardware for sure. Speaking of next gen. Hey Rockstar you better give us Red Dead Redemption 2 on next gen hardware. Yes i will pay for it, we know you want give us a free upgrade haha!
@Titntin now just imagine how good this game will look when it’s updated for the Next Xbox and PS6. All the games today are going to get nice updates with next gen power. But Pop in are to be excepted on base models. Another reason i am on here saying 2027 is not to soon for next gen hardware. It’s right in line with what devs need and we want our experiences to be. 😀
@IOI @IOI Sony are petty but they can’t go off Steam for any reason. PC games only sell well on Steam. Sony would be throwing money away and they aren’t in position to do that. I don’t know if the next Xbox will be able to play Steam or not. But if so they can’t really block it as the next Xbox is just a PC. Steam don’t allow you to block certain GPU/CPU devices just by name. I think Sony and MS need the PC’s money. As been reported PC is making more money than consoles combined for devs. Plus PC gamers won’t do other launchers. They made Sony bend the knee quick on their policies. I don’t much care the outcome, i am just here for the conversation of yes Sony is petty and no they can’t avoid Steam and make money. 😀
@Fiendish-Beaver i understand the business side that Sony makes money and i think that too is a win for the industry. Keeps another Platform holder profitable in a time where Sony can’t even get a game out the door, Concord and 12 cancelled games hurts their bottom line to go with a small profit margin. So again i sell the millions of dollars they get as a good thing. For MS they will gladly take the 70% on all platforms, 100% on there’s, plus GP revenue. So i think all platforms are pretty healthy which is what i want. I do not want a Sony only console situation. I don’t even like the controller all that well. I seen on Steam oblivion is already number 1 in sales, which we all know the PC now is the bigger money maker than all consoles combined. So they need games that PC players will purchase and they have them. Happy to see what Team Green is building here.
@Kaloudz Bingo my friend and thats why i was hear to tell you i see what you are saying to the naysayers on here all the time and the truth of it is they know it’s true they sometimes just want to jump on the hate train that the internet is good at throwing out there. The minute the next Xbox comes out and people have them in hand, there will be articles saying Xbox is leaving the hardware business. I mean it’s just the nature of these people. Meanwhile Xbox is laughing to the bank with every gamers money with near 40 studios cranking out games near monthly it feels like. This isn’t so much an anti PS5 comment to me, it’s more about Xbox is stronger in this strategy than people realize. You know how much money Oblivion will make on Steam and PS? A lot of money for Elder Scrolls 6 would be my guess. It’s a great time to be a Gamepass member and this service is still getting Gears of War and others come June. They are starting to flex with the studios now. The value is starting to really show. Enjoy my friend.
@Sol4ris that my exact situation as well. I buy all 3 consoles every gen. I have the PS5 and Series X now and all i have played on my PS5 was GOWR and ratchet and Clank rift apart. I once again don’t love the controller to buy anything 3rd party, it cost more for less when it comes to services, next to no return policy for digital purchases, i mean the older I get the more I value my time and money and I just ain’t doing nothing with PS5. I understand it sells more and has the mainstream eye on it over Series X. But i actually like using my Series X and continuing to add games to it to play. I did download Oblivion yesterday after work and didn’t get to really play much. But thanks for the reply and i hope you enjoy whatever game you dive into next.
@Kaloudz i wanted to share this with you, cause we have been very pro MS going multi platform. Do they not see what is happening since the ABK and Zenimax buyouts? This is an avalanche of software revenue for MS. They could sell 30-45 million consoles and still be making PS money with them at 100 million consoles. PS players are buying more MS games in 2024-2025 then Sony games. At 70 to 30 spilt MS will take that all day long and it’s not going to stop, it will be Fallout, then Elder Scrolls 6 and Gears of War and Diablo 5 and so on and so on. No way Sony can keep up software wise. Their platform is a timed exclusive box with higher cost of play. I don’t care if it sells 200 million, it’s not the better platform anymore as it was with PS4. Even tho i liked my Xbox One better. I ain’t saying People will leave PS for Xbox but what you and i have been saying on here for a while now is Xbox isn’t leaving GP and they sure as heck ain’t leaving Hardware, especially when other platforms are paying for it. MS is owning gaming software this year, sure Mario Kart will come out and do amazing, but Sony is sitting there doing what? Selling consoles? Thats like selling printers but your competition sells the ink, good luck with that.
A game this size will have updates coming to it for years to come. But overall a great first impression and again this is the difference of MS owning Zenimax vs where they were financially under the previous ownership. Phil Spencer is cooking and MS is making money while Sony is canceling games MS is making cash on every platform. What’s the old saying the rich get richer, this is an example of it. Very very happy with Team Green this year so far and we aren’t even to the June Showcase yet.
@Fiendish-Beaver @Titntin i guess i am lucky in the sense i never had any wireless connection issues on any of the brands controllers. IGN which is a more PS fan focused website ran a poll before the launch of the this gen on offset sticks vs inline sticks and off set sticks won. On some sites the most often requested thing for Sony to do is make offset sticks. Dual sense has loads of pages out there of people sayings its to big and hurts their thumbs. For me for the little i do play on PS, i did noticed when playing FF16 on dual sense my left thumb was starting to hurt. There’s a reason for that, since the NiES and Sega master system, the dpad has been on the upper left hand side which at that time was main way to control your movement. It was natural for your thumb to be on the upper left hand side. PS1 controller is a super Nes controller design and not Sony’s, so Sony didn’t want to resign a new controller and the internals had no room to add analog sticks so they put them in the empty space of the chassis which was the bottom, which has your thumb placement for the first time alongside the N64 in the wrong spot. A lot of players got used to it. But there was a reason the 360 controller was way more preferred by players than the cheap featureless Six Axis controller. On PC where players have a choice, off set thumbsticks again are the main played. When your thumb is that low reaching the top of the controller is more of a stretch of your fingers. I hate it for shooters, i have not bought a shooter for PS in over 3 console generations but can use it for their single player games. I think Sony did mostly a neat job which the Dual sense minus the USLESS touchpad. That is so much wasted space on the controller for something that has maybe 0.01% use in a game minus a big button. I know it’s suppose to be a mouse like cursor but it’s never used that way and makes the controller wider than need be. I like the haptic rumble some and yes Tin i agree with you on the lower settings for that, feels better and did give me a little more battery life. Closer to 10 vs the near 40 on the switch Pro and Xbox. I will chill out on this topic now as i am a controller NERD. Again i think it’s my favorite part of a console or PC. It’s the device that connects you to the worlds created. I am really passionate about which one i have to use. But there is some science and logic behind having the directional pad to the top left. Imagine a Sega Genesis controller with the D-pad on the bottom? Like Tin said it’s all preference unless you ask a carpal tunnel doctor. Yes believe it or not i have read a doctors report online that said the PS controller was harder on your thumb and hand muscles. Cause again even if you don’t realize it you are stretching your thumb much further to go right on the pad than you are when it’s on the top. Do that little test when you next pick them up. You can see the results in your left thumb! Thanks to you both for taking on my controller geek talk. I am not here to offend or be a fanboy. I am truly just passionate about controllers and have been since i was a little kid. For the record i played 90% on my Super Nes cause i like the controller better than my Genesis. Now it’s 90% to 10% Xbox over PS cause of the controller.Enjoy your new DOOM controller Beaver. Appreciate you both again! 😀
It would take all 5 to match the Xbox’s battery Life. Sorry i had to take that one Titntin. Ok for what i really wanted to say. I collect controllers, Controllers are the most exciting part of a new console generation for me. I am of the mindset that the controller is the most important part of gaming. I have followed Xbox’s controller plans very closely as the Xbox has my favorite controller layout in gaming history and it’s not even close. So much so that if i ever liked a PS controller i might not even be with Xbox outside of Gears of war. However Sony’s stick position and bad ergonomic controls has me rarely play on PS3-PS5.
Xbox’s controller plans have all been moved to next gen. In Europe they passed a rule controllers must have removeable and replaceable batteries. So look for Xbox and Sony controllers to change in the future. Tho it has been said MS will have a internal and swappable battery, auto connect to cloud, Haptics rumble, quieter buttons, tho i think people miss that the noise the Xbox controller makes isn’t by accident, it was meant to be like a mechanical keyboard and mouse click sounds on the shoulder buttons. Tho players never knew that and thought it to be loud and cheap so MS is changing it. Even tho people spend $400 dollars on keyboards that sound the same if not louder. Elite 3 has had a few MS surveys sent out to players asking different questions and feature requests like RGB lighting and the such. So it seems like Elite 3 is still years off. Making the purchase of the Doom Elite 2 pad safe Beaver. Whichever controller works best for the individual player is the best one of course and a reason they likely play the console. Let’s hope stick drift get’s fixed for next gen for all console players. 😀
@Fiendish-Beaver i don’t say this lightly, you have one of best Gears of War collections out there that i know of. You got me beat even and Gears of War is my favorite IP in gaming and it’s really not even close, Only Red Dead Redemption makes me Half as excited as a Gears announcement. I will be playing E-Day PVP for 4-5 years just about every day. I did that with Gears 5 PvP which i just got back into last month and already put another 50 hours on top of my 2500 hours. I will buy everything i can for E-Day as i know you will too. Can’t wait for it. Keep on collecting my friend. Don’t forget to mention you have a lancer LOL
Only on Chapter 7 but i really like the game. It’s basic in all the right ways but stays in its lane and tells a cool story. I played it on Gamepass but will buy it and shoot for the 100% completion. Really really neat game and this is a studio that i think Xbox needed more than it appeared to me.
@Fiendish-Beaver Elite 3 seems to be held off until Next Gen. been no rumors on it in a long long time. I think the Elite 3 and updated standard controller all come in 2027 or after with the new console. So I’d say you are safe. These look nice but i am saving my money for the Gears of War controller and Wrap if they happen and they should.
I can’t see myself playing this and that’s saying something cause shooter games are my thing. I try to give them all a chance and i will try this. But nothing screams special and must play to me. Once Gears E-Day comes out it will take a near perfect shooter to get me off PVP Gears.
@Ricky-Spanish Yeah for sure, it’s a little different with the welcome screen on PS5, but i love the avatars on Xbox compared to PS’s. Overall both UI’s need some work for next gen but i like them both, however Xbox has the quicker Ui, less button presses.
I like on PS5 that you can easily take a screenshot and use it as the welcome screen background. I did that with RDR2. It looks great. Could care less that it don’t move.
@Millionski yeah i hear what you are saying for sure. They have this odd pricing that some are $70 and others are $80. It just seems odd. I just assumed they would do $70 for all and call it a day. But like you said throw in the fact Nintendo games don’t go on sale very often and when they do it’s not all that much. That will make it tough on some family’s. I could see Switch 1 continuing to sell well for a while.i still want one, and will likely buy it when it’s in stock. But the software is a little out of touch on pricing.
@Kaloudz you are thinking correctly buddy. This was a huge 360 title in the early beginning. Gosh I loved the 360. Number 1 console of all time for me. I even played my Xbox OG more than PS2. Even tho PS2 had a way bigger catalog of games. I was way more into the Xbox than PS2 and for those that are confused as to what the next Xbox might look like, the OG was a PC in a box. Take care my friend, i always like to comment on your posts when i can, even if they don’t make sense to the topic. Haha cause we share the same ideas on the brand and we have fun with it. 😀
@Banjo- they are for sure throwing Japan a bone on this one. Which Japan has buttered the bread for Nintendo with the Switch. Undercuts Sony, but still i hear what you are saying. Nintendo could find themselves selling a ton of switch 1’s due to price and thats a good spot for them to be in. Plus it will for sure make sure switch outsells PS2. I think for a little while Switch 2 will be a hard sell for kids at that price
The Switch 2 is priced right in my opinion. Sure at $399 it would have been a steal and many more would have been happy. But as it is it is fine. But $80 for Mario Kart and $90 digital is the issue i see with all this. Mario Kart is crazy fun, one of my favorite Nintendo Ip’s if not my favorite. But it is in no way shape or form a more complex code and time investment as big AAA games that are less money. So this was a hike just cause we can not to offset cost. Speaking of cost, sure Nintendo has came into the 4K world of video games, so i was more than ok and truthfully expected to see $70 for all their games. But $80 and $90 is just way off. That said i make enough money to grab them and likely will. But it’s more than I’d like to pay and many others will likely stay on Switch 1 even longer.
@FarmDog08 yeah thats a steal for all that content. I loved the first two on 360, BL3 seems fun so far i put another 1.5 hours into it today. But yeah i would pay $30 to own them for sure. Glad you got it! 😀
I am back into Borderlands. Haven’t played it since 360. So i hope the Pandora Box collection get’s a heavy discount. Playing Borderlands 3 now on GP. Great game so far. But it crashes a lot. I am maybe 6 hours in and 3 crashes already. It’s a known issue from last year and still no fix from Gearbox. Otherwise loving it.
I can’t wait for the Gears of War E-Day background. That will be on my screen forever. These are ok, i am looking forward to playing both South of Midnight and TowerBorne.
For me the words missing out and From Soft ain’t a thing. Those games run like trash no matter how much power you throw them. They still can’t optimize games this gen or last. They just ain’t my thing, Much how i say Fortnite ruined gaming in many ways and for sure genres, From Soft popularity is a close second for me.

I hear what y’all are saying and you are more than entitled to have your thoughts and opinions. But i will be there day 1 for Switch 2. A lot of work went into this system over the Switch. I am loving what they shown. Honestly if i could only have 1 console it would be Switch 2 and PC. Nintendo games are so fun that the smiles they bring to me and others playing with me is money well spent. But i understand everyone’s pockets are different and again i hear what some of you are saying. I was hoping the PS5 Pro was going to be $600 and the Switch 2 $400.
@Ken_Kaniff that was my thought as well. The Switch 1 showed elder scrolls with the controllers. I’m guessing of course. But would be cool.
I for sure want to pick up a Switch 2 on launch day if i can pre order fast enough. A more powerful Switch is all i need from Nintendo, Gimmicks not necessary!
@TheGameThrifter insert WIN32 and take away X86 which is what Xbox is doing and no 3rd party games are missing cause they are already made. It’s called PC software. Hence the direction of the next Xbox.
I don’t like sticks that aren’t concave. So this is a no for me. I put up with it on Nintendo and PS. But for Xbox since first party controllers have it. I stick to those or elites. That small detail makes a big difference for me. My thumbs never slip off. Convex is just slippery and don’t feel that great to me.
@Residentsteven i agree, as much as i love and prefer Xbox to my PS. I do like the PS App on iPhone way better than the Xbox one. This is an area MS needs to get better in if they are in fact competing with Steam on the PC and Hybrid Console. They need to get thier Ui, Store fronts, apps etc all much more streamlined and clean to get users to want to be there. Cause Steam is very clean and easy to use. Xbox on PC is a cluttered mess.

Re: Indiana Jones 'Selling Faster' On PS5 Than Xbox & Steam, Says Analysis
Thats weak.
Re: Indiana Jones 'Selling Faster' On PS5 Than Xbox & Steam, Says Analysis
Re: Indiana Jones 'Selling Faster' On PS5 Than Xbox & Steam, Says Analysis
@x3King84 nothing wrong with that.but you are the exception not the rule. The sales data shows most PC players stick to PC and for sure favor steam to all the other store fronts. I think it’s cool that you support both PC and Console. But again just know that’s not common.
Re: Indiana Jones 'Selling Faster' On PS5 Than Xbox & Steam, Says Analysis
Re: Indiana Jones 'Selling Faster' On PS5 Than Xbox & Steam, Says Analysis
Re: Indiana Jones 'Selling Faster' On PS5 Than Xbox & Steam, Says Analysis
Re: Indiana Jones 'Selling Faster' On PS5 Than Xbox & Steam, Says Analysis
Re: Xbox Is Already Achieving Massive Success With Oblivion Remastered
@Kaloudz i agree it’s a great time right now. I just finished South of Midnight. Now onto Oblivion. Fanboys in any hobby are bad but video games is the worst fanboy. So i know what you are saying.
Re: Marathon Players Share Their Initial Thoughts As Xbox Alpha Goes Live
Re: Xbox Cloud Gaming Arrives On LG TVs With New Dedicated App
I got a 55 inch LG C3 and a 65 inch C2. Love the TV’s. Oled is just so much better. It stinks a little bit that Switch 2 ain’t Oled. But i am sure in time they will release one and i will buy it for sure. Love gaming on Oled. If i finish my 5080 build i want a Oled monitor as well. Cool to see games coming to Cloud over a TV. I do believe cloud will get better and better but for now it’s not something i use on my Series X, PS5 or Switch.
Re: Digital-Only Xbox Series X|S Consoles Have Accounted For 75% Of Sales So Far In 2025
@TheGameThrifter you mean renting or buying digitally. Cause thats an option alongside Gamepass. Physical media is dead as retailers continue to shrink its store space of games. Heck even Nintendo got in on the digital push saying you are buying a key on most the carts.
Re: Xbox Is Already Achieving Massive Success With Oblivion Remastered
Re: Talking Point: We Played Xbox's First Forza Release On PS5, And It Felt Weird
@Titntin i am right there with ya. I am hoping to land a pre order on a Switch 2 with Mario Kart bundled. I will sell my Switch Oled and that alone helps. Going to be good! Enjoy it!!
Re: Talking Point: We Played Xbox's First Forza Release On PS5, And It Felt Weird
Re: Xbox Is Already Achieving Massive Success With Oblivion Remastered
Re: Xbox's Forza Horizon 5 Gets 'Big Visual Boost' On PS5 Pro, Says Tech Review
I mean it has 40% moire GPU power than the base models. It should show nice performance enhancements. These games will all see big boosts next gen with PS6 and next Xbox. This is why i say 2027 is not to early for the next consoles as they will give the devs the power they need and us the experiences we want. I’m looking forward to next gen hardware for sure. Speaking of next gen. Hey Rockstar you better give us Red Dead Redemption 2 on next gen hardware. Yes i will pay for it, we know you want give us a free upgrade haha!
Re: Talking Point: We Played Xbox's First Forza Release On PS5, And It Felt Weird
Re: Talking Point: We Played Xbox's First Forza Release On PS5, And It Felt Weird
Re: Xbox Is Already Achieving Massive Success With Oblivion Remastered
Re: Xbox Is Already Achieving Massive Success With Oblivion Remastered
Re: Xbox Is Already Achieving Massive Success With Oblivion Remastered
Re: Xbox Is Already Achieving Massive Success With Oblivion Remastered
@Fiddleroyolanda your comments are getting deleted quicker than Concord.
Re: Xbox Is Already Achieving Massive Success With Oblivion Remastered
Re: Oblivion Remastered Players Share Their Initial Reviews On Xbox, PS5 & PC
A game this size will have updates coming to it for years to come. But overall a great first impression and again this is the difference of MS owning Zenimax vs where they were financially under the previous ownership. Phil Spencer is cooking and MS is making money while Sony is canceling games MS is making cash on every platform. What’s the old saying the rich get richer, this is an example of it. Very very happy with Team Green this year so far and we aren’t even to the June Showcase yet.
Re: Xbox Announces Limited Edition DOOM Controllers And Series X Wrap
@Titntin Happy Easter Buddy, it’s a holiday weekend here in the states as well. Wishing you and the family a great weekend! Thanks for the chat!
Re: Xbox Announces Limited Edition DOOM Controllers And Series X Wrap
Re: Xbox Announces Limited Edition DOOM Controllers And Series X Wrap
@Fiendish-Beaver @Titntin
“ I do have 5 PS5 controllers mind you ”
It would take all 5 to match the Xbox’s battery Life.
Re: Xbox Announces Limited Edition DOOM Controllers And Series X Wrap
Re: South Of Midnight Gets Its Third Xbox Update, Here Are The Patch Notes
Only on Chapter 7 but i really like the game. It’s basic in all the right ways but stays in its lane and tells a cool story. I played it on Gamepass but will buy it and shoot for the 100% completion. Really really neat game and this is a studio that i think Xbox needed more than it appeared to me.
Re: Xbox Announces Limited Edition DOOM Controllers And Series X Wrap
@Fiendish-Beaver Elite 3 seems to be held off until Next Gen. been no rumors on it in a long long time. I think the Elite 3 and updated standard controller all come in 2027 or after with the new console. So I’d say you are safe. These look nice but i am saving my money for the Gears of War controller and Wrap if they happen and they should.
Re: Bungie's 'Marathon' Gets September Release Date For Xbox, Closed Alpha This Month
I can’t see myself playing this and that’s saying something cause shooter games are my thing. I try to give them all a chance and i will try this. But nothing screams special and must play to me. Once Gears E-Day comes out it will take a near perfect shooter to get me off PVP Gears.
Re: Talking Point: What Dream Reveal Would You Like To See At The Xbox Games Showcase 2025?
1st Party Wish
*Gears of War collection shadowed dropped on Xbox with the PC and PS5 coming a month or 2 later.
3rd Party Wish
Re: PS5's New Backgrounds Are More 'Dynamic' Than The Xbox Versions, But There's A Catch
@Ricky-Spanish Yeah for sure, it’s a little different with the welcome screen on PS5, but i love the avatars on Xbox compared to PS’s. Overall both UI’s need some work for next gen but i like them both, however Xbox has the quicker Ui, less button presses.
Re: PS5's New Backgrounds Are More 'Dynamic' Than The Xbox Versions, But There's A Catch
I like on PS5 that you can easily take a screenshot and use it as the welcome screen background. I did that with RDR2. It looks great. Could care less that it don’t move.
Re: Nintendo's Doug Bowser Just Channelled One Of The Most Infamous Xbox Quotes Ever
Re: Talking Point: How Excited Are You For A Potential Oblivion Remake This Month?
Re: Nintendo's Doug Bowser Just Channelled One Of The Most Infamous Xbox Quotes Ever
Re: Nintendo's Doug Bowser Just Channelled One Of The Most Infamous Xbox Quotes Ever
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Hoping To See In The Xbox Spring Sale?
@FarmDog08 Wow really? Thats awesome. I’m about to check myself. Thats a killer deal. Thanks so much!
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Hoping To See In The Xbox Spring Sale?
@FarmDog08 yeah thats a steal for all that content. I loved the first two on 360, BL3 seems fun so far i put another 1.5 hours into it today. But yeah i would pay $30 to own them for sure. Glad you got it! 😀
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Hoping To See In The Xbox Spring Sale?
I am back into Borderlands. Haven’t played it since 360. So i hope the Pandora Box collection get’s a heavy discount. Playing Borderlands 3 now on GP. Great game so far. But it crashes a lot. I am maybe 6 hours in and 3 crashes already. It’s a known issue from last year and still no fix from Gearbox. Otherwise loving it.
Re: Xbox Adds Multiple New Dynamic Backgrounds To Kick Off April
I can’t wait for the Gears of War E-Day background. That will be on my screen forever. These are ok, i am looking forward to playing both South of Midnight and TowerBorne.
Re: Talking Point: Would You Be Willing To Pay $80 For Xbox Games?
If you’re not down with that we got two words for you!!!
GAME PASS!!!!
Re: Review: South Of Midnight (Xbox) - A Fantastic, Soulful Outing From Xbox Game Studios
I already got it downloaded from GP. Can’t wait for it to go live.
Re: Xbox Is Missing Out On FromSoftware's 'The Duskbloods' In 2026
For me the words missing out and From Soft ain’t a thing. Those games run like trash no matter how much power you throw them. They still can’t optimize games this gen or last. They just ain’t my thing, Much how i say Fortnite ruined gaming in many ways and for sure genres, From Soft popularity is a close second for me.

Re: Nintendo Switch 2's Crazy Game Prices Could Be Terrible News For Xbox Fans
I hear what y’all are saying and you are more than entitled to have your thoughts and opinions. But i will be there day 1 for Switch 2. A lot of work went into this system over the Switch. I am loving what they shown. Honestly if i could only have 1 console it would be Switch 2 and PC. Nintendo games are so fun that the smiles they bring to me and others playing with me is money well spent. But i understand everyone’s pockets are different and again i hear what some of you are saying. I was hoping the PS5 Pro was going to be $600 and the Switch 2 $400.
Re: Talking Point: Are You Expecting Xbox News At The Switch 2 Direct This Week?
@Ken_Kaniff that was my thought as well. The Switch 1 showed elder scrolls with the controllers. I’m guessing of course. But would be cool.
I for sure want to pick up a Switch 2 on launch day if i can pre order fast enough. A more powerful Switch is all i need from Nintendo, Gimmicks not necessary!
Re: New Death Stranding Record Hints At Potential Of PS5 Ports On Xbox
@TheGameThrifter insert WIN32 and take away X86 which is what Xbox is doing and no 3rd party games are missing cause they are already made. It’s called PC software. Hence the direction of the next Xbox.
Re: 8BitDo Unveils New 'Jade' Controller Inspired By The Original Xbox
I don’t like sticks that aren’t concave. So this is a no for me. I put up with it on Nintendo and PS. But for Xbox since first party controllers have it. I stick to those or elites. That small detail makes a big difference for me. My thumbs never slip off. Convex is just slippery and don’t feel that great to me.
Re: Microsoft Posts 'Farewell' Message As Xbox Game Pass Mobile App Goes Offline
