@Fiendish-Beaver however, if you look back at when Xbox started to put their games on the PC, you can easily argue that that is where it all started to go wrong for Xbox.
I disagree with that, when it all went wrong for Xbox was, Xbox One launch. TV TV TV, if you don’t have alone we have a console for that, it’s called Xbox 360. That is where it went wrong. Then Sony doing a 20 second clip of how to share a game was the nail in the coffin. So MS had to move away from Xbox as the only place to gain users. Selling software is the name of the game in this business we all know that. Hard to do when you launched your console off on such a bad start. Sony putting their games on PC was shouted at the roof tops to be the end of PS. Cause the internet always has to be doom and gloom. PS5 is selling just fine. The same way it will continue to sell just fine with some of their games on NIntendo and Xbox. Will they lose some players to PC? Probably, but they will make so much money being on more platforms it won’t matter. So in plain words, no i do not think Sony having games on other platforms will hurt their bottom line but in fact grow it.
@Fiendish-Beaver there’s no cop out and it’s not about me being right, it’s about following what Sony is saying. I am not telling you they are moving away from the closed ecosystem, they are telling you that, you just hear it in the terms you want.
As for when, i think it comes down to what teams are going to be doing the work. What disrupts their business model the least. Which to me would be smart to start with older games. Maybe a 2018 God of War? That is just sitting around often on sale for 10 dollars, why not port that to Xbox for $50. I don’t know what they are going to price them at. Uncharted would be a nice fit for the Xbox gamer. Then there’s little big planet and Astro bot on Nintendo that would make some sense. Again how long do these ports take and who do they have doing them? Thats what I’d like to learn more about. Again this all goes back to raising their profit margins, so the real question is when have shareholders and investors put a hard date on seeing those numbers rise? I would guess in less than 3 years. It’s taken MS some time to get games to PS5 and they still haven’t put anything on Switch 2 yet but they will and MS has way more devs than Sony. Again this isn’t about being right or wrong for me as much as it’s just pointing out that people care so much about exclusives that they are defending this job post as live service only when NO ONE KNOWS THAT. Could that be true and i am wrong? Of course. But i am not drawing the line in the sand on only live service to help myself feel better that exclusive are dying a slow death and companies and devs want all their games in more places to play.
@Fiendish-Beaver i will buy my games on the Xbox store over Steam. Many causals will as well cause likely it is the default store and they don’t care about steam. MS will likely match the steam sales to remain competitive. However we do not know all the workings and potential profit sharing of that deal behind the scenes. Phil and Gabe have a very close and long friendship. I am sure there has been a lot of talks within them to make this happen. Until we learn more on the matter i don’t want to overstate what that looks like. But again i have said this for years now on here, the end game isn’t console. It’s cloud streaming for the causals and PC’s for those that still want hardware. We aren’t there yet. But just like all other mediums in the entertainment market, we will see streaming be the mainstream solution as tech carries that closer and closer to a console level performance. PC is growing like crazy and will continue to for quite a while. Time will tell how all that plays out.
@cragis0001 @Fiendish-Beaver where people are wrong for not listening to me is not following the money. To MANY gamers come on here and speak babble about money. Never to realize it’s not that i am a fly on the wall in these meetings. It’s just common sense. Sony’s profit margin is low. Investors have asked them to be at 10%, they aren’t close to that at the moment. Or the last i read into it. So these ports would help. I have also defended MS choice in moving away from a one closed box ecosystem and have said that Sony would be faced by shareholders and their own internal leaders to raise profits. Did i guess this would take shape so soon? No, i thought we would start to see this in the PS6 life after they grew that install base. Not now before the launch of PS6, giving players maybe a reason to leave the platform, even tho a very small number of gamers will do that. Not listening to me about money has lead more people into the i told you so comment than not. This ain’t a brag or flex. I am an accountant. I see what companies will do for a few hundred thousand. Not to mention millions. Always follow the dollar, especially in todays gaming and you will be closer to right than wrong nearly everytime.
@cragis0001 thank you, i did the same with Steam coming to Xbox and i got a little push back. The thing is this is all public information, it’s not that hard to think for yourself and see what they are telling you and yet most gamers jump on the trend comments online and believe it’s the way the companies think and act. Which couldn’t be further from the truth. Then i come along with the receipts and hold people to what they said for months or even years and they freak out on me. Thats my role around here HAHA
@WildConcept6 yeah that all makes sense to me. If i were Disney i would want the game on as many platforms as possible. I don’t care for the marvel games. So not sure i would buy it. I beat the first Spider-man and it was fine, but a little boring towards the end. So likely i am not buying them but Disney should maximize their earning potential. Time will tell.
@Fiendish-Beaver it’s not a cop out. I just ain’t taking guess’s and saying live service only or anything like that cause the job listing never said anything like that. It gave no hints. Thats why i am waiting to hear more. As for your question, yes i fully expect to see AAA Sony titles coming to Xbox much sooner than 3 years. What would have been the point in them hiring and causing all this noise online if they weren’t’, everyone thinks Spider-man is the first game to come to Xbox. I don’t know about that, reason why is every copy sold is money to Sony, MS and Marvel. So that don’t make Sony nearly as much profit. They ain’t giving their games to Xbox and Nintendo to be nice, they want money back. So while Spider-man would sell nicely on Xbox and the internet all thinks that’s the first one to come. I don’t know about that.
@J_Mo_Money yeah i have lost a lot of respect for Push Square writers. They troll so hard and now that the shoe is on their foot. They are deflecting like crazy. The fan base is setting themselves up for a big let down thinking Sony isn’t trying to take the bag of money to please some rude kids online trolling other brands. In what world does that ever happen? In all this i think the industry is better from head to toe without exclusives, i want to see gamers have a choice in where they play and what they play it on. I want to be able to use the controller that don’t hurt my thumb and wrist. I want to be able to play with my friends regardless of platform they own. I want online games to have bigger player bases. I could care less about console wars. It’s a known fact PS worldwide is going to outsell Xbox. Sony’s games coming to Xbox won’t change that. Maybe it slightly grows PC gaming more, which is already growing at an insanely fast rate. There is no malice in what i want of this move. It’s solely for the better and timed exclusives will still exist for Sony, they aren’t bringing Spider-Man 3 day and date to Xbox anytime soon. But they might be getting closer to doing that with PC, who knows!!
@cragis0001 I appreciate that so much. Yes i am. They hate the truth. Just wait until i remind them they said what’s the point in owning a Xbox if my PS plays all its games and Sony’s? That will go over well!
I ain’t saying how many games or when. Thats my whole reason for starting to talk to you about it. Cause unless i read it wrong. You were making it sound like only live service games and that was my point how do you, we or anyone know that? We don’t. I am not saying i know the plan, what i am trying to say is people are grifting hard for Sony and saying oh it’s just live service games. HOW DOES ANYONE know that? I certainly don’t know that but if i look at the breadcrumbs and leaks it’s looking like they are deciding the strategy as the job listing it fairly new still. 3 months ago this would not even be a talking point as Sony was locked into the old traditional console model. Which is fine, it makes money but they want more money and they see that their is ways to do so and they are starting to come out and say we are making moves that are off our console. So in time we will know more of that but i lost count at how many people are 100% sure that it’s only live service games and right not i am tearing into that cause there is no reason to have that take on it, the same reason i can’t say what games and when they are coming. Which i haven’t done. I have guess and said it’s likely the ones that will make money, which would make sense, and Sony don’t have multiple live service games that make money. So that would logical mean some single player games. Again to be clear which ones and when? I have no clue.
@cragis0001 you might be right. Time escapes me sometimes when i have to beat a dead horse. I’d be lying if i didn’t say i can’t wait to see the outcry on YouTube. All those that said why buy a Xbox? Or I’ll just build a PC. Someone is always ready to throw away their toys when they aren’t giving them what they want and what they want is a console that they can hang a list of exclusive games over other peoples heads. That list is shrinking or going away and they can’t believe it. So much so they are saying it’s just live service games. But is it?
@Kaloudz Everything you just said is what i have been saying for weeks now and all i get met back with is, is a load of coping and deflection points. I will sit back and just wait for other titles to be announced and pull the i told you so card!
Some, no actually most choose to learn the hard way!
@Fiendish-Beaver how much more writing on the wall does everyone need about Sony wanting to bring titles to more platforms? Is it only going to make sense when the Last of Us is on the Xbox Store? I have been trying to help connect the dots for weeks now. This is more wood to the fire.
@Fiendish-Beaver again i agree with most of what you are saying. But people aren’t going to leave their preferred console and all their digital games cause of games not being exclusive anymore. The average PS and Xbox customer is someone that buy’s 2 sports games a year and cod or Fortnite. Those players aren’t leaving and they aren’t make Sony or MS much money. So the small hardcore market is simply not enough to support $200-$300 million dollar games. Hence the reason Sony went to PC. When that happened the whole internet said there was no need to have a PS anymore, their games can be played elsewhere and 70 million console sales later it’s not hurting them at all and it won’t hurt them to have games on Xbox either.
@DaveTheRave I personally want the next Xbox to be different. It ain’t doing them much good being a traditional console. I have a PS5 for that experience. The specs are starting to leak on the next Xbox and it’s exciting to me. Again if you don’t like it or don’t want to support Xbox, as i said Push square will welcome you and you can be happy, thats not spin.
@Fiendish-Beaver i don’t disagree that Gamepass holds back some sales if the game is on that service. As it should, why buy it? But games that are not on GP still sell on Xbox. GTA 6 will sell on Xbox. Sports games do sell on Xbox. But even Sony don’t sell games like the internet fans tell you it does. Astro Bot struggled to get to 2 million and was a brilliant game. We all know Day’s Gone was a flop, loads of Horizon and Spider-man game sells came with it being bundled into the console. So while yes Sony fans buy more games than Xbox, it’s largely due to install size and the fact that PSN + sucks in comparison to GP. Throw in the fact that the best selling games on PS are also the best selling games on Xbox and they aren’t exclusive games. Sony already said most of their money comes from micro transactions. So of course they want more MAU and games that have such transactions in them. I know that MS and Sony run to different business models, but MS does well money wise with half the install base and Sony is paying attention to that cause they have said repeatedly they want more money from outside PS. All i can say is i am not sure what games and when Sony will bring them to Xbox, but to say it won’t be any single player games is a HUGE mistake. Seeing as that is the only genre they have that gamers care about. Their live service game or games SUCK and are DEAD. Outside of one and that is coming to Xbox at the end of the month. Why isn’t Foam Stars coming to Xbox? Cause it’s dead and won’t make money. So they are building this job for just HD2 and the hope they are going to hit a big game in the future? Nintendo isn’t know for online, so why include them in the job posting? My guess would be for games like Little big planet, Astro bot and more. I mean i said it before I don’t even like more than 25% of Sony’s first party games. So this won’t be a big win for me. Not to mention i own all 3 consoles. But i do like gamers having choice and more games to support and play. For that reason only, i hope the whole slate comes over.
@Fiendish-Beaver Sony have at least two Live Service games that are still in development, @HonestHick; Marathon and Fairgame$. They do have other games too, and have recently said that they will be making more of them...
To this all i can say is good luck, Marathon is DEAD out the gate and Sony and Bungie knew it, delayed it and i can’t see that mattering much. Fair games isn’t looking good and many on Push Square have already said they could care less. So Sony is in the hole with live service games. Will they try more? Or sure, but Sony has shown us they haven’t a clue what a good online game looks like. Until that changes i have a 2/10 belief system in their offerings.
@Valhura Thanks for the question. Of course i have every Gears game ever made with 1000’s of hours on them all with the PVP. Which is the reason i want this, it will be the first time in PVP that we have Xbox, PC, PS players all together. I am looking to headhunt and build big stats online. Can’t wait. In Gears 5 PVP i was in the top 15% in America. So i am about to make some PS players break their controllers with any luck. Plus i am excited for the single player being in the best tech shape it can be in. So i will beat that likely twice, once solo and in co-op. The 26th can’t get here soon enough.
@DaveTheRave the only thing that is clear is that kids and “adults” without a college degree online have come to a conclusion that Xbox ain’t making money, buying games and is dead. To those with a corporate level education, see it much different as the data shows and is ignored for reasons fit to argue online. Again you do whats best for you. But your idea of Xbox’s business is incredibly incorrect.
Can’t wait, Gears is my favorite IP in gaming. It’s been some rough years. But this will hold me over until E-Day, which will be my game of the generation. Can’t wait to play on the 26th.
@Fiendish-Beaver while nothing you said is wrong, it’s also an older idea of what Sony used to be. We have seen them say they want more MAU’s. How are you going to get those, leaving your box and going to others. They seen MS do this. Also i have to address this, i keep seeing live service games, plural. Sony don’t have more than one successful live service game to port. The one they do, HD2 is coming. But the rest of their live service has been cancelled or fail in 2 weeks. What else do they have to port? They can’t make a live service game that sticks to save their back side.
Yes i agree they used to protect their IP, heck so did MS for that matter. But Sony has to bring their profits up for investors. There is no other way to make that type of profit without bringing some easy money ports to Switch and Xbox. I think newer games will remain timed on PS consoles, sure, but older titles they need that cash. I mean they are already 3rd party now with making games for PC. Just cause they aren’t day and date like MS, doesn’t change the fact PC gamers don’t need a PS5 to play PS games. People gloss over that, but Sony is already 3rd party. Now they are just looking to add more platforms. Like i said, we know Sony, they are quick to respond to internet chatter when it comes to their business, and they have yet to put this fire out. Tells me all i need to know alongside what the actual job title says.
@DaveTheRave all platforms are dying outside of Nintendo. It’s a long race to cloud and PC. Consoles are not going to be what our kids play when they are 25-30 year olds. But if you think Xbox is to “dead” go get a PS5 and chat it up on PUSH. They will love your attitude there.
@Fiendish-Beaver all the signs and job postings are right there in the open saying games are coming to not only Xbox but Nintendo. So i am not sure what some are disagreeing with. Sony has an open job listing on their site saying games coming to XYZ platforms. I think the issue with a lot of gamers is they want this list of games that only can be played on their box of choice so they can go on Twitter and forums and hang that list over other people not on that platform. It’s more of a game they play than actual games , the fear of losing that list is showing me they care more for the list then Sony or PS as a business. Case in point on YouTube i listened to a guy saying well i guess Switch is the only platform i will be supporting. Cause they have a list of games he can dangle in his attempt to bash other gamers. A gamer should never want less people playing games no more so then a business should not look at all ways possible to make money. Sony is looking at this and they NEED the money. Concord alone means they need to make a ton of money back just to break even on that project. They have canceled more games this gen than released, so they are going to look at easy quick profits and Nintendo and Xbox will be a nice way to gain that. While i don’t think the whole slate is coming off the bat, and i think newer releases will take time before seeing a Switch or Xbox platform. The wiring is on the wall Sony 1st party titles are going to be on more than PS and PC. Denial will only make the day it happens easier on those that get to say I told you so.
More Sony games are coming to Xbox and Nintendo. Which ones we do not know. Sony would have already came out and shut all this internet chatter down if it wasn’t happening. Maybe once they get the hires in and get those job listings filled we will hear from that teams lead about which titles are coming and when. For now i could care less as most Sony 1st party i don’t much care for and the few that i do i have played on my PS5. But the more i can not use a PS controller going forward won’t hurt my feelings, my thumbs will thank me for it.
BF6 by a long shot. If they get it right on day 1 and continue to update and improve the game, it has a chance to do really well. Tired of COD with the dumb skins. The game simply lost its appeal to me if tho i like the core shooting mechanics. BF6 needs to get it right and i believe it will. Plus it’s skipping last gen consoles which is always a plus for me.
Wow this is looking good. If they have the servers running well on day 1, this is going to have a lot of COD players return to BF. Liking what i am seeing so far. As many of us have already said, don’t do stupid skins and i am here for this.
@nomither6 i mean in a lot of ways they are. I was saying that to other person. All that is really changing is MS is using a light version of windows and opening up the box. That’s really it. PS5 and Series X is just a closed down AMD Pc at the end of the day. You are spot on with that. 😊
@fbnaulin at this point that is written in stone. The next Xbox will be a PC/Console hybrid using AMD and running a light gaming focused version of windows 12. With a controller Ui. Which is the smart thing to do. Xbox Os will be on it and given out to OEM’s that want to build a Xbox Hybrid console. Which is going to be a nice machine. I’m looking forward to it.
@Titntin i am for sure excited about it. If i can get some PS games on it via steam or straight from Sony that makes that machine an all in one device for me and my play style. Of course i will keep my Switch 2, which I have been really impressed with so far. I am playing on it more than i even thought i would. Sarah Bond talked about the MS teams working on forward and backward compatibility, so i think a solution to all gamers Xbox games will be explained better at a later date when we get closer to those boxes taking over. MS has been the leader in BC and continue to talk about all your games in one place, played how you want and where you want. So i think it’s a stay tuned on that. Overall a Windows 12 light edition that is solely used for gaming is going to be a bigger game changer than some understand. Both for players and dev teams. 😊
@Banjo- @Kaloudz they never listen to us! Not sure about yall but i like being right more than wrong. I also don’t like to guess. I like to listen to the horses mouth so to say.
@Titntin its the start of what OEM hardware Xbox’s will be like. MS still has first party hardware coming as well. But i think in time it will be all about the BC software catching up and of course MS getting their Xbox Os tuned up. Then at that point everything really is a Xbox. Want a Alienware Xbox, want a MS Xbox, want a Razer Xbox, all the same games and same Xbox Ui will be on board. We are just in the very very early stages of what this will look like over the next several years. But i do like it. The options will be nice in the end for the user. Plus if that user don’t like that hardware anymore, their library of games comes with them to the next Xbox platform they wish to play on. Lot’s more to see and learn but we now know this is the direction. 😀
Everyone has a different opinion on this game. But mine has always been it was really good for me. I liked the campaign, not going to say loved it. But it was solid. The PVP was almost perfect. The ONLY thing was it took way to LONG to bring new maps and modes. I was playing the same 3 maps for close to 200 hours in PVP when I stopped playing and that is just insane. Content hurt the game in a big way. Now would using unreal 5 have made it quicker to make new content, that i do not know. But if so then the answer is yes.
@Kaloudz as always i 100% agree with you. It’s just so stupid and makes me not play the game. I am really hoping BF6 keeps its skin’s in check and they blend into the game vs standing out and looking like Fortnite.
@Simu001 i agree, it’s a mess and just takes the game visually to a place i can’t focus and enjoy. I quit playing. Hoping BF6 keeps it more in line with their skins.
@Kaloudz i agree with you. The game will be fine with me as long as Beavis and Butt-head, Teenage mutant ninja turtles and Barney the purple dinosaur aren’t skins in a war game. COD looks so dumb shooting these characters it’s insane. So if BF6 sticks to war shooter and has some good maps. I could see some players jumping onto the franchise. Time will tell, but they have a chance if they do it right.
@WildConcept6 i just looked and seen Cyberpunk 2077 is on Mac. Maybe i should try it just to see. I forgot how many games they did get since last i really paid major attention to it. Glad you gave me a reason to want to look. Haha 😀
@WildConcept6 i don’t game on Mac much but when i do it runs great to be honest. Long time ago i used to run Diablo 3 on my MacBook Pro and it ran insanely well. But of course no one, myself included buys a Mac for gaming. But it can do more now than it ever used too.
@Millionski yes it is busy, IGN gave it a 10! I seen a few others that were 9 and one other 10. Nintendo is picking up where they left off with the Switch 1. Killer 1st party titles. To get a Donkey Kong game this good and we still have 3D Mario at some point. That is just fire.
@Millionski yeah it looks fantastic on Switch 2. DKB should look insanely good as well. I can’t wait for the next Mario 3D game. Should look outstanding. I haven’t installed Zelda and others yet. Mainly just been playing Mario Kart world and i beat Odyssey in around 10 hours. Of course that was only like 160 moons i think. But it looked great on the big screen. I just wish August would get here so i can start to play Gears of War reloaded. I think Sony will sell a lot of Dual Senses when that game comes out, cause a lot of PS5 new players will be breaking their controller online in PVP.
@Millionski i agree with you 1000%. It’s fun you mentioned Mario Odyssey, when i got my launch Switch 2 with Mario Kart. Of course i install Mario kart world and played it for 2 days straight but the next game i installed is my favorite Switch 1 game by a mile and maybe my favorite Mario game ever and thats Odyssey. Dude on my Oled tv with the bump in performance. Odyssey looked and ran great and i did another start to finish play through on it. When i got to the end and you become Bowser and are smashing to get out. I was like is this what DKB is going to feel like? Cause if so i am sold.
I really hope you enjoy DKB buddy. I think we both will, and i can’t agree enough with you on Mario Odyssey, it’s a 10/10 for me.
None on this list. But i can’t wait for Gears of War reloaded. Gears is and likely always will be my favorite IP in gaming. So i look forward to it and of course killing newbies in PVP. Even tho most of them will quit. After that i am mostly looking forward to Donkey Kong this week for Switch 2. Hope we hear more on what Nintendo has planned for the holiday title.
@nomither6 I’m all for that. I would play the heck out of that remake or remaster. I played the MCC when i got my Series X back in 2020 and reach was so fun to play again. I am a HUGE competitive Gears of War player so that is my most wanted, but i do love some halo and would just like to see it grow some on all platforms. As long as lobbies are full for Gears and Halo, i am happy.
@nomither6 yeah i just listed a few of the big ones in it’s way, but you are right there are so many shooters that have install bases. I just can’t stand those battle royal shooters. You barely shoot a gun half the time. So i would love to see Halo’s gameplay be back in a big way. I played close to 200 hours of halo infinite cause i loved the gameplay at launch. But the lack of maps is what hurt it for me.
@kingv84 thats correct, i should have known that, i am a hardcore Diablo grinder. Over 1000 hours in D4. I played D3 on Mac before it came to Xbox 360. I actually like the way it plays on controller vs keyboard. But i know many blizzard games are on Mac. Wish more games were. I like the Apple ecosystem better than windows.
@Lup makes sense, i have a switch 2 now and i love it. Works perfectly for the niche games and Nintendo Exclusives i want to play. I have a PS5 and Series X also. Xbox is my main platform. Due to i love the controller. But you are right the switch has some games Xbox just don’t get.
@WildConcept6 i know personally that Diablo 3 and 4 run on a Mac. Not sure what else. I’ve been using Mac for half my life now. I actually like gaming on it when games are supported. Diablo 3 ran like a charm on my older MacBook Pro.
@OldGamer999 i feel like Halo needs all platforms these day’s. It’s not the huge title it was back in the day. I would love for Halo to be great again and have full lobbies. Not sure it will happen seeing as a game called Fortnite and COD has everybody and their cat playing it. But i love Halo when it’s really good. So i am looking forward to this. I tried to play Gears of War on the PlayStation controller and my left hand was hurting within 30 mins. I just don’t love that controller. The console itself is great. But that controller is just carpal tunnel waiting to happen.
@BacklogBrad well said. I agree 100%. There might be a few every now and again. But largely all games will be on as many devices as possible as soon as possible. If your name isn’t NIntendo, you need every sale and every eye on your game.
@IOI i do expect to see God of war on Xbox soon, it’s called Xbox console/PC hybrid. Steam is coming to Xbox, which means you can play GOW and Spider-Man. Sony knows this and they are ok with it cause it don’t hurt them, it only helps them get more eyes on their games. Windows is too big to not come to Xbox. With that coming so does just about every video games ever made not named Nintendo.

Re: 'Days Gone' Tweet Attracts The Attention Of Xbox Fans, But Don't Get Your Hopes Up
@Fiendish-Beaver however, if you look back at when Xbox started to put their games on the PC, you can easily argue that that is where it all started to go wrong for Xbox.
Re: Helldivers 2 Coming To Xbox Was All Because Of PlayStation, Says Developer
Re: Helldivers 2 Coming To Xbox Was All Because Of PlayStation, Says Developer
Re: Helldivers 2 Coming To Xbox Was All Because Of PlayStation, Says Developer
Re: Helldivers 2 Coming To Xbox Was All Because Of PlayStation, Says Developer
@cragis0001 thank you, i did the same with Steam coming to Xbox and i got a little push back. The thing is this is all public information, it’s not that hard to think for yourself and see what they are telling you and yet most gamers jump on the trend comments online and believe it’s the way the companies think and act. Which couldn’t be further from the truth. Then i come along with the receipts and hold people to what they said for months or even years and they freak out on me. Thats my role around here HAHA
Re: Helldivers 2 Coming To Xbox Was All Because Of PlayStation, Says Developer
@WildConcept6 yeah that all makes sense to me. If i were Disney i would want the game on as many platforms as possible. I don’t care for the marvel games. So not sure i would buy it. I beat the first Spider-man and it was fine, but a little boring towards the end. So likely i am not buying them but Disney should maximize their earning potential. Time will tell.
Re: Helldivers 2 Coming To Xbox Was All Because Of PlayStation, Says Developer
Re: Helldivers 2 Coming To Xbox Was All Because Of PlayStation, Says Developer
Re: Helldivers 2 Coming To Xbox Was All Because Of PlayStation, Says Developer
@cragis0001 I appreciate that so much. Yes i am. They hate the truth. Just wait until i remind them they said what’s the point in owning a Xbox if my PS plays all its games and Sony’s? That will go over well!
Re: Helldivers 2 Coming To Xbox Was All Because Of PlayStation, Says Developer
@Millionski @Kaloudz @Fiendish-Beaver
Re: Helldivers 2 Coming To Xbox Was All Because Of PlayStation, Says Developer
@cragis0001 you might be right. Time escapes me sometimes when i have to beat a dead horse. I’d be lying if i didn’t say i can’t wait to see the outcry on YouTube. All those that said why buy a Xbox? Or I’ll just build a PC. Someone is always ready to throw away their toys when they aren’t giving them what they want and what they want is a console that they can hang a list of exclusive games over other peoples heads. That list is shrinking or going away and they can’t believe it. So much so they are saying it’s just live service games. But is it?
Re: Helldivers 2 Coming To Xbox Was All Because Of PlayStation, Says Developer
@Kaloudz Everything you just said is what i have been saying for weeks now and all i get met back with is, is a load of coping and deflection points. I will sit back and just wait for other titles to be announced and pull the i told you so card!
Some, no actually most choose to learn the hard way!
Re: Helldivers 2 Coming To Xbox Was All Because Of PlayStation, Says Developer
@Fiendish-Beaver how much more writing on the wall does everyone need about Sony wanting to bring titles to more platforms? Is it only going to make sense when the Last of Us is on the Xbox Store? I have been trying to help connect the dots for weeks now. This is more wood to the fire.
Re: 'Days Gone' Tweet Attracts The Attention Of Xbox Fans, But Don't Get Your Hopes Up
@Fiendish-Beaver again i agree with most of what you are saying.
Re: 'Days Gone' Tweet Attracts The Attention Of Xbox Fans, But Don't Get Your Hopes Up
@DaveTheRave I personally want the next Xbox to be different.
Re: 'Days Gone' Tweet Attracts The Attention Of Xbox Fans, But Don't Get Your Hopes Up
@Fiendish-Beaver i don’t disagree that Gamepass holds back some sales if the game is on that service.
Re: 'Days Gone' Tweet Attracts The Attention Of Xbox Fans, But Don't Get Your Hopes Up
@Fiendish-Beaver Sony have at least two Live Service games that are still in development, @HonestHick; Marathon and Fairgame$.
Re: Gears Of War: Reloaded Preload Is Now Live On Xbox Series X|S
Re: 'Days Gone' Tweet Attracts The Attention Of Xbox Fans, But Don't Get Your Hopes Up
@DaveTheRave the only thing that is clear is that kids and “adults” without a college degree online have come to a conclusion that Xbox ain’t making money, buying games and is dead. To those with a corporate level education, see it much different as the data shows and is ignored for reasons fit to argue online. Again you do whats best for you. But your idea of Xbox’s business is incredibly incorrect.
Re: Gears Of War: Reloaded Preload Is Now Live On Xbox Series X|S
Can’t wait, Gears is my favorite IP in gaming. It’s been some rough years. But this will hold me over until E-Day, which will be my game of the generation. Can’t wait to play on the 26th.
Re: 'Days Gone' Tweet Attracts The Attention Of Xbox Fans, But Don't Get Your Hopes Up
@TrollOfWar you are 2000% right buddy. Great post!
Re: 'Days Gone' Tweet Attracts The Attention Of Xbox Fans, But Don't Get Your Hopes Up
@Fiendish-Beaver while nothing you said is wrong, it’s also an older idea of what Sony used to be.
Re: 'Days Gone' Tweet Attracts The Attention Of Xbox Fans, But Don't Get Your Hopes Up
@DaveTheRave all platforms are dying outside of Nintendo. It’s a long race to cloud and PC. Consoles are not going to be what our kids play when they are 25-30 year olds. But if you think Xbox is to “dead” go get a PS5 and chat it up on PUSH. They will love your attitude there.
Re: 'Days Gone' Tweet Attracts The Attention Of Xbox Fans, But Don't Get Your Hopes Up
@Fiendish-Beaver all the signs and job postings are right there in the open saying games are coming to not only Xbox but Nintendo.
Re: 'Days Gone' Tweet Attracts The Attention Of Xbox Fans, But Don't Get Your Hopes Up
More Sony games are coming to Xbox and Nintendo.
Re: Talking Point: Battlefield 6 Or Black Ops 7, Which Xbox FPS Are You Looking Forward To Most?
BF6 by a long shot. If they get it right on day 1 and continue to update and improve the game, it has a chance to do really well. Tired of COD with the dumb skins. The game simply lost its appeal to me if tho i like the core shooting mechanics. BF6 needs to get it right and i believe it will. Plus it’s skipping last gen consoles which is always a plus for me.
Re: Battlefield 6 Gets Official Xbox Release Date, Open Beta Begins In August
Wow this is looking good. If they have the servers running well on day 1, this is going to have a lot of COD players return to BF. Liking what i am seeing so far. As many of us have already said, don’t do stupid skins and i am here for this.
Re: Microsoft Highlights First-Party & Xbox Game Pass Success In FY25 Q4 Earnings Report
@nomither6 i mean in a lot of ways they are. I was saying that to other person. All that is really changing is MS is using a light version of windows and opening up the box. That’s really it. PS5 and Series X is just a closed down AMD Pc at the end of the day. You are spot on with that. 😊
Re: Microsoft Highlights First-Party & Xbox Game Pass Success In FY25 Q4 Earnings Report
Re: PSA: Expect To See Lots Of ROG Xbox Ally Impressions Next Month
Re: Talking Point: So, What Other PS5 Games Do You Want To See Come To Xbox?
@Banjo- @Kaloudz they never listen to us! Not sure about yall but i like being right more than wrong. I also don’t like to guess. I like to listen to the horses mouth so to say.
Re: PSA: Expect To See Lots Of ROG Xbox Ally Impressions Next Month
Re: Talking Point: Would Halo Infinite Have Been A Bigger Success Using Unreal Engine 5?
Everyone has a different opinion on this game. But mine has always been it was really good for me. I liked the campaign, not going to say loved it. But it was solid. The PVP was almost perfect. The ONLY thing was it took way to LONG to bring new maps and modes. I was playing the same 3 maps for close to 200 hours in PVP when I stopped playing and that is just insane. Content hurt the game in a big way. Now would using unreal 5 have made it quicker to make new content, that i do not know. But if so then the answer is yes.
Re: Battlefield 6 Price & Release Date Leak Ahead Of 2025 Xbox Launch
@Kaloudz as always i 100% agree with you. It’s just so stupid and makes me not play the game. I am really hoping BF6 keeps its skin’s in check and they blend into the game vs standing out and looking like Fortnite.
Re: Battlefield 6 Price & Release Date Leak Ahead Of 2025 Xbox Launch
@Simu001 i agree, it’s a mess and just takes the game visually to a place i can’t focus and enjoy. I quit playing. Hoping BF6 keeps it more in line with their skins.
Re: Battlefield 6 Price & Release Date Leak Ahead Of 2025 Xbox Launch
@Kaloudz i agree with you. The game will be fine with me as long as Beavis and Butt-head, Teenage mutant ninja turtles and Barney the purple dinosaur aren’t skins in a war game. COD looks so dumb shooting these characters it’s insane. So if BF6 sticks to war shooter and has some good maps. I could see some players jumping onto the franchise. Time will tell, but they have a chance if they do it right.
Re: Some Xbox Game Pass Titles Are Now Playable Natively On Steam Deck
@WildConcept6 i just looked and seen Cyberpunk 2077 is on Mac. Maybe i should try it just to see. I forgot how many games they did get since last i really paid major attention to it. Glad you gave me a reason to want to look. Haha 😀
Re: Some Xbox Game Pass Titles Are Now Playable Natively On Steam Deck
@WildConcept6 i don’t game on Mac much but when i do it runs great to be honest. Long time ago i used to run Diablo 3 on my MacBook Pro and it ran insanely well. But of course no one, myself included buys a Mac for gaming. But it can do more now than it ever used too.
Re: Poll: Which Of Xbox's Fall 2025 Games Are You Most Excited About?
@Millionski yes it is busy, IGN gave it a 10! I seen a few others that were 9 and one other 10. Nintendo is picking up where they left off with the Switch 1. Killer 1st party titles. To get a Donkey Kong game this good and we still have 3D Mario at some point. That is just fire.
Re: Poll: Which Of Xbox's Fall 2025 Games Are You Most Excited About?
Re: Poll: Which Of Xbox's Fall 2025 Games Are You Most Excited About?
Re: Poll: Which Of Xbox's Fall 2025 Games Are You Most Excited About?
None on this list. But i can’t wait for Gears of War reloaded. Gears is and likely always will be my favorite IP in gaming. So i look forward to it and of course killing newbies in PVP. Even tho most of them will quit. After that i am mostly looking forward to Donkey Kong this week for Switch 2. Hope we hear more on what Nintendo has planned for the holiday title.
Re: Rumour: Halo 1 Remake/Remaster Started Development In 2023, May Not Include Multiplayer
Re: Rumour: Halo 1 Remake/Remaster Started Development In 2023, May Not Include Multiplayer
Re: Some Xbox Game Pass Titles Are Now Playable Natively On Steam Deck
@kingv84 thats correct, i should have known that, i am a hardcore Diablo grinder. Over 1000 hours in D4. I played D3 on Mac before it came to Xbox 360. I actually like the way it plays on controller vs keyboard. But i know many blizzard games are on Mac. Wish more games were. I like the Apple ecosystem better than windows.
Re: Final Fantasy Dev Suggests PS5 Exclusives Are A Thing Of The Past For The Series
Re: Some Xbox Game Pass Titles Are Now Playable Natively On Steam Deck
@WildConcept6 i know personally that Diablo 3 and 4 run on a Mac. Not sure what else. I’ve been using Mac for half my life now. I actually like gaming on it when games are supported. Diablo 3 ran like a charm on my older MacBook Pro.
Re: Rumour: Halo 1 Remake/Remaster Started Development In 2023, May Not Include Multiplayer
Re: Final Fantasy Dev Suggests PS5 Exclusives Are A Thing Of The Past For The Series
@BacklogBrad well said. I agree 100%. There might be a few every now and again. But largely all games will be on as many devices as possible as soon as possible. If your name isn’t NIntendo, you need every sale and every eye on your game.
Re: Helldivers 2 Is Officially Releasing For Xbox This August
@IOI i do expect to see God of war on Xbox soon, it’s called Xbox console/PC hybrid. Steam is coming to Xbox, which means you can play GOW and Spider-Man. Sony knows this and they are ok with it cause it don’t hurt them, it only helps them get more eyes on their games. Windows is too big to not come to Xbox. With that coming so does just about every video games ever made not named Nintendo.
