As impressive as it would be to take a game already 2/3 finished and have it ready next year. Yeah 27-28 sounds more reasonable.

I think the solder was still partially at fault as it would literally melt under the load causing stuff to shift. People would try to re-melt the adde in their ovens (no really) which often don’t work.

Crazy that all it took to red ring these was the garbage eco solder due to performative environmentalism.

I don’t know a single person who had a PS3 everyone had a 360 and most also had a Wii Black Ops 1/2 was Halo for younger millennials.

Console only for me.

I want Xbox to succeed, but being borderline toxic Lou positive about a game with p*** poor numbers isn’t helping.

There are plenty of underperforming games I’ve enjoyed like Forza Motorsport and Modern Warfare 3. But they still underperformed and can’t be counted as a success.

Heck if MS can’t even make Doom work anymore there’s a huge problem.

It doesn’t matter why it got bad reviews and no players. Also being on PS5 didn’t save Ghost of Yōtei.

If I had a nickel for every game in 2025 set in France that couldn’t get the environment right…I’d have an Phineas and Ferb reference.

Can someone explain to me why this is better than the series S when the performance is lower than the Xbox One? And that’s only if you use frame generation so the claim of 4k 60fps isn’t even really accurate.

No. We know the player counts for similar games like veilguard and AC: Shadows. SoM did far far worse and both of those games killed their companies

It lost over $100 million and nobody is playing it after 2 years. It flopped hard, harder than MS thought even possible.

The fact they immediately lied about not adding ridiculous skins mean pass for me. Why does a gun need a toy train or psychic knives?

Isn’t serviced by Microsoft
Is sending customers to ASUS
Is in no way a Microsoft product

Thank you for being honest that reviews aren’t all sunshine and rainbows for MS.

2 huge tech-YouTubers (LinusTechTips & Austin Evans) both came to the conlclusion that the base Ally has a slightly better frame rate and much worse battery and display than the Steam Deck while being more expensive than the OLED model Steam Deck.

They also both agreed that the Ally X had comparable to worse performance than the Legion Go & the MClaw whilst being more expensive than the Legion Go.

Finally they both agreed that the Ally had the worst UI by far and MS lied about streamlining Windows for it.

The Ally X has potential to be a highly competent middle performance option for a mid tier price, whilst the base model is using an exact clone of the Steam Deck processor from 4 years ago for double the price.

Makes all the consecutive 9-digit losses seem not as bad.

Utter incompetence.

The lowest performing Xbox with the highest price tag?

None of the convenience of a handheld with none of the benefit of a dedicated PC?

Not to be hyperbolic but for a grand they couldn’t do better than heavily compromised middle ground?

After MS sells thousands of units people will change their tune.

It’s still very concerning that the company supposedly dedicated to making first party devices abandoned their own device in favor of slapping the Xbox logo on one button on someone else’s device.

It’s this sentiment alone that causes at least a few people to be dubious.

Never using cloud. Worst performance and now with ads.

Even if they actually double the amount of games added to the service. You’d literally have to play double the games for it to be worth double the price. That’s why so many people are cancelling.

And the games are so…shall we say sub-optimal that they have to advertise being able to play PS games on the ROG.
