I am astounded that people have convinced themselves that Sony putting games on PC after a time is the same as Xbox putting first party games on PS and Nintendo. Are we that desperate to hang on to Xbox?

@InfamousOrange The quality of graphics and feel of the game (much darker/mature) in the reveal trailer are not even close to what the game is now. This has been talked about a ton over the last three years.

The more they've shown of this game the more disappointed I am. This doesn't even look close to the initial trailer. It looks like an outdated attempt to rip off Elder Scrolls. What are we dong MS???

C from me. Avowed looks dated. Ara does absolutely nothing for me. Visions of Mana is great but will play on PS5. Hellblade looks good but still a lack of gameplay shown. Indiana Jones saved it for me.

@BIG3 I certainly am over 100 hour games as well. The only thing I’ll say is I’m a little surprised they took five years to make a 6-8 hour game.

@BAMozzy I was just reporting what I saw, I have no strong feelings about any of it. Like you mentioned, it’s a nice push for GamePass, which is how I will play it.

@Widey85 Sony had one first party exclusive this year and still outsold Xbox 3:1. I don’t know how much slower it could be for them. I cannot understand how they continue to sell so many PS5s this year with basically no games.

@InfamousOrange I also greatly prefer quick resume with my Xbox, I just cannot get over the controller being worse to make it my main console. The rounded face buttons just feel so bad to be compared to the flat ones on the dualsense. 😣

@PsBoxSwitchOwner I get paid salary, working an extra hour doesn’t make me any money. I also have a wife and kid so I try to not spend a lot on myself and games.

I earn enough rewards that I have never paid for GamePass and I’ve gotten other stuff on top of it. It would take me 2-3 minutes a day to knock out the reward searches.

What MS is offering with Xbox isn’t enough for me to pay out of pocket right now.

If they implement the 15 minutes for 3 searches thing, they would chase me away so fast. The rewards system is what keeps me invested with MS and it’s becoming downright bad which means goodbye for me.

Fix your freaking matchmaking then.

I’m quite disappointed that there wasn’t even a date for BG3 and the lack of new GamePass titles.

Other than that, quite a few things I liked. Visions of Mana, No Rest For The Wicked, Blade, Hellblade 2 (graphics are nuts) and Exodus.

@J_Mo_Money Did Sony remove old Bungie leadership and put new people in? If so, I didn’t know that. My understanding was Bungie stayed independent with their team.

Bungie has been in trouble for years now (Destiny community has been extremely upset) and I also think it was a bad purchase. However, Sony finds a way to make great games with their studios. I find it hard to believe that they would spend billions on Bungie and not find a way to make them great again.

@J_Mo_Money From what I’ve read, it’s very clear that Bungie management is awful. So mismanaged is a perfectly good term for what’s happening there. If Sony does take over, hopefully they can right the ship.

It sounds like their management is a complete mess. Perhaps Sony taking over could actually help Bungie. Sony owned studios do pretty well I’d say.

It stops “misuse” but sucks for everyone using the rewards. Not helpful for us. 😂

@ultraviolet I don’t know what this means. It sounds like you do use the search portion of the rewards and you just use it causally and not strictly for rewards?

Just a heads up for anyone in the states who has Xfinity. You can get a $25 Xbox card through their rewards.

Since the ranked MM is so bad, I’ve been enjoying a ton of husky raid, excited to rotate this in.

@JetmanUK The clicking on things is what they want through, it helps them. They’re not doing it out of the kindness of their heart.

Things actually continue to get worse. The random dailies that used to be 10pts are now 2pts today.

Speaking of Ubisoft, has anyone gotten the “error getting account details” on Xbox when trying to get Ubisoft+? I’m trying to give them money but apparently they don’t want it.

@Kaloudz To be fair, it was 20 per day in the states, which comes out to 7,300 points per year lost.

@Martsmall 150 on PC, 100 on mobile and 20 Edge is what it had been forever for me. That 20 is now gone, I assume that is similar to the 12 you had.

While I mostly enjoyed my playthrough, the NG+ absolutely killed it for me. I have no desire to redo all of the same stuff, they could have just added more actual story/mission content instead of empty planets. I've tried to boot it up a few times since finishing the game and just didn't find anything worthwhile to keep me going after the main story and factions were done.

Anyone else have the 20 search points in the Bing app saying 0/0 today? Wonder if this is the most recent item on the chopping block.

Sitting on 145K at the moment. I use it mostly for GamePass and purchasing games.

6 months would put this on GamePass in February. That seems reasonable given the sales. I doubt it takes a full year in this case.

Starfield was good but not great for me. HiFi Rush I liked much less than apparently everyone. Redfall I played after patching and thought it was pretty fun. Halo has improved. Forza Motorsport plays and looks great but isn’t something I enjoy enough to play long term.

Outside of first party, Sea of Stars was excellent.

@InterceptorAlpha What I meant was, people will be more inclined to buy games they KNOW aren’t going to GamePass. I’m saying the opposite of you I think.

@InterceptorAlpha I sort of agree with you, but these big AAA games obviously aren’t going to be on GamePass day one or anytime soon so I don’t think they coincide with the theory of “waiting for GamePass”.

It’s a very strange game, but I’m a bit surprised it has zero traction in USA. I’m almost done with it and I found the Alan parts to be pretty bad in comparison to Saga. This game definitely is not for everyone. It certainly would not crack my top 5 this year.

I can’t say this is surprising to me. It’s a good game, but was not GoTY material for me. Probably like my 6/7th favorite this year. My top 5 would be:

Diablo 4
Star Wars JS
SM2
Hogwarts Legacy
Sea of Stars

I am certainly intrigued. These are the types of games that are good fits as third party exclusives since it’s in the realm of what Xbox is lacking.

Psychonauts 2 was awesome, feels weird to phrase it with them at the bottom of the barrel…

They need to simply focus on putting our high quality games that release in a good state.

@TakeItEasy I can’t stress this enough, take it easy.

The program has been in decline now for a bit. I know people defended them when the last nerf came in saying that “you just have to do different things to earn the same points”. I think we can just put that nonsense to bed.

As long as I can still get enough per year for GamePass I’ll keep doing it but it was nice to have extra to do things like Halo battlepass, Starfield early launch, Ubisoft+, etc.

@ymo1965 Are you playing at 30 or 60fps? I haven’t tried swapping between them to see if that changes it.
