@Krysus Agreed. I rarely pay for GPU, so seeing every other MS story is "GP this, GP that", I honestly don't give a 💩. I love the feature, but MS need not be a one-trick pony with a single notable feature.

One of Microsoft's worst decisions was to end the BWC program. The final update was amazing with games like Timesplitters 2 and 3, and that should have continued with XSX.

Ubisoft hasn't got a damn clue what their fans want. We can't have BG&E2. We can't have a new Rayman. We can't have a new Splinter Cell. We can finally have a new POP, albiet a 2.5D metroidvania with terrible trailer music. It seems they're just the Asscreed and Farcry company now. 😒

A C+/B- for me. Stuff like Fable, Forza, etc... doesn't appeal to me. RPGs in general do not.
Clockwork Revolution was my highlight, as I'm always down for a game with time travel mechanics. Overall, the lack of truly huge surprises is what brings it down, as many of these we already know about. Had they shown Perfect Dark, we'd be having a different conversation.
I've never played an original Bethesda IP, so Starfield will likely be my first. It looks interesting enough.

@darkswabber "Second party" isn't a thing. Insomniac was always third party who chose to mostly work with Sony. Also as Xbox fans are concerned, there's no reason to not have another quality studio under one's belt. Rare had turned to crap by the time Nintendo got rid of them, so such a purchase in hindsight is very questionable.

Easily one of the best games from 2022, and it was amazing to play the entire thing on Game Pass. I would happily buy this in the future, especially now that there's an FPS update.

Anything can happen, but I don't see Xbox as a device or brand dying off anytime soon. I feel like we've had these discussions before, 20 years ago, just replace "microsoft" with "nintendo". I'm old enough to remember during the GameCube days, endless articles suggesting that Nintendo will likely leave hardware and go software only.

Very interesting to see how times and the discussions have changed, and yet are still the same in other aspects.

Really hope the demo isn't limited this time. That's beyond infuriating.

@Green-Bandit OMG, the cross play fiasco. 🤦‍♂️ Granted, from what I recall Microsoft was initially against it, but then came around to it. Nintendo came on board, but then Sony shifted against it after the competition was doing it. I was always for the idea since friends often play on different platforms, but many of Sony's users were equally against it, saying how awful and terrible cross play is/will be. Pure partisanship nonsense. 🤦‍♂️

While I don't like these huge corporate mergers in principal, Sony and that joke of an executive Jim Ryan need to be taken down a peg and humbled.

I probably have negative 1000% interest in this game, but I definitely can appreciate all the performance options. Although it seems in general we were all sold a giant lie (surprise, surprise) again this generation, as most big-budget games don't/can't run at 4K60FPS on either XSX or PS5. Disappointing... :/

I was able to buy Jet Set Radio via the old 360 marketplace website, and it installed on my Series X with no trouble. 🙂 I'm assuming it'll work for other titles too.

Did the same for Aegis Wing. It wouldn't redeem through the XSX, but claimed it on the 360 site. (then it installed just fine).

To have GoldenEye for $7.50, I rebought Rare Replay digitally. It's more than worth it.

My Game Pass ended yet I can still play GoldenEye just fine.

Rare replay often goes on sale for 75% off.

GoldenEye on Xbox and As Dusk Falls. The Xbox port of 007 is pretty good overall! Not as good as Perfect Dark's port, but still very playable. Nearly done secret agent and getting cheats whenever they arise.

Oh yeah, for us who are old enough to have lived through the early years of 3D, distance fog was a common visual effect. You should check out how thick the fog is in the original release of Turok: Dinosaur Hunter on N64! 😂

Also as others have said, they're keeping the original blue hinge to a small degree, I guess? I get its more "authentic", but the differences in the two ports is annoying to me. Should've been uniform across both.
That said, I'm having a blast with it on Series X, as I did with the leaked remaster on PC 2 years ago. Amazing game.

@kihaennem GoldenEye 2010 is a shameless COD clone. Terrible level design, awful objectives, and endless enemy fodder cause don't think, shooty pew pew. 007 is supposed to be a SPY, not Rambo.
