People laugh, but bad naming conventions are a real thing, and companies need to be aware of this problem.

Personally, "Xbox One", and "Series X|S" were horrible choices, and someone deserved to get fired over that.

They should have just picked a completely different name like "Xbox Alpha" or "Xbox Cypher", etc.. You get my point; something completely different and unique to any Xbox naming scheme beforehand.

@Ricky-Spanish Yeah I appreciate the return to the setting and atmosphere of the earlier games, as they were the best. 5 is the worst Gears title. So bland and... meh.

They didn't add a single new game for the "part 3" of this sale!!!! Absolutely f-ing unbelieveable...

Wasn't today supposed to be the start of a Forza Horizon 4 digital sale, as well as the final 360 marketplace sale?

I really enjoyed the first one, and I'd say HB2 is as good, if not better. It's easily one of the best looking games this generation.

Despite owning many titles, I can't think of a single XB-specific game I've ever preordered prior to now, with the one exception being the Snake Eater Delta CE . 🤔 Might cancel it though, since I got the PS5 CE reserved as well. 🤔

I will gladly preorder 1st party Nintendo stuff, games with price errors, or stuff I genuinely want to play at launch.

@AdolBannings-Laylee It's a non-BWC sale, so yes, however I know of 2 exceptions; Black and Splinter Cell Chaos Theory can be bought from the 360 marketplace for the discounted price, and they'll work on XSX.

A few of the discounts STILL aren't even working, like Burnout 3 is still displaying as $10. 🤦‍♂️

@Carck Nintendo never once gave even the slightest incling of an impression that they would drop out of hardware. I was there during both the GameCube and Wii U days; that was all endless speculation from writers on gaming websites, and gamers on forums speculating, all of which was completely baseless. They looked like fools then, and 10x moreso foolish now.

@InterceptorAlpha It's a shame that "Spec Ops: The Line" is one of the most generic titles ever for a game. Plus, the way it was advertised, it was depicted like your standard, cookie cutter, military TPS. Yawn... 🥱 Then one gets into it, and aside from it's solid gameplay, it's story is unbelievably awesome and indeed, subversive. The twist is completely unexpected and superbly well executed. 👏😄

Truly a shame to yet another great (and very unique) game digitally delisted, lost to the mists of time... 😭 And without any warning either. Shameful!

@Kaloudz Well, the debut trailer for Lost Crown had absolutely horrible music. And many were still upset/confused over the disappearance of the Sands of Time remake, given how terrible it was looking. But fortunately, Lost Crown seems to be a winner. 🙂 POP may finally be heading for a renaissance.

After I save, I shut down, so I don't use it, as most modern games are either constantly Auto saving or give you the option to manually save when you want.
