Xbox Exec Sends Fans Into A Frenzy With Strange Social Media Post

Last night, Xbox's Sarah Bond managed to cause a bit of a frenzy amongst the Xbox community on social media, as she took to Twitter to post a single image of the Xbox 360 style logo - with nothing else alongside it whatsoever.

Here's a look at what she posted, which has racked up around 250,000 views so far:

Following this, the comments began flooding in. Many fans took her tweet to mean that the Xbox backwards compatibility program might be starting to add new titles again, perhaps in relation to the Activision Blizzard deal:

However, we're inclined to believe Sarah's tweet doesn't actually mean anything like this. The Xbox exec has a history of posting lighthearted tweets that generate a lot of unintended attention - back in July, everyone thought Elden Ring was coming to Xbox Game Pass because of something she posted - so don't get your hopes up here.

In fact, it might just be something as innocent as celebrating the recent 18-year anniversary of the Xbox 360. There could be more to this of course, but we definitely don't suggest getting too excited over a simple tweet.

Then again, who knows...?!

What do you think Sarah Bond might be alluding to here, if anything? Tell us down in the comments below.
