I always loved Kameo. I remember being blown away by its visuals when i played the demo at Gamestation (RIP).

@fatpunkslim Sony funded and published it, Sony's money went into the the game and no they don't "need" to release it they just want to as the game made profit at around 1M sales meaning anything more is gravy. Also give me that source of Sony saying that as i feel context is missing.

@fatpunkslim Sony funded and published Stellar Blade. The game wouldn't even exist as is if not for Sony. The has game well and made a lot of profit so if its coming for Xbox its not because its needs too.

Also outside of SE most of the 2nd and 3rd party exclusives have been funded and published by Sony.

Got mine early on for £250 and as a way to play X1 games i missed out on and a way to BC games like Fallout 3 and such again its been fantastic. Honestly early on it was great for current gen games like Halo Infinite, Forza 5 and Starfield but in recent time i've stopped buying new games for it as the compromises are too big and most if not all of MS games are hitting PS5 so there's little point playing the "worst" version of games on my SS these days.

@TrollOfWar Look at this way Stalker 2 isn't cheaper on PS5 despite being a year later and Forza 5 was still full price. End of the day as long its still one price on one store it isn't going to be another price on another.

@Kramlar Difference is Death Stranding was 5 years old when it came to Xbox. SH2 is only a year old and its still full price on PS5.

@BacklogBrad Battlefield is a PC series and always has been, its always been more popular on PC especially as its more hardcore then COD and the like.

Without a GP deal this wouldn't even be played on Xbox anyway as games like sell really poorly on Xbox hence why Devs are "encouraged" to take a GP deal.

I'm sure if COD has something like this for Xbox it suddenly won't be "outdated".

$800 plus further price hikes will be a fantastic way of making it be the worst selling console in Xbox history.

@Lup Dying Light The Beast and Baby Steps both got a 8 recently. Kingdom Come 2 got a 10, E33 got a 9/10. Silk Song is a 9/10 but yes let's make a false narrative up.

Play anywhere except on PS and Switch so not really anywhere.

Basically every console version of the game is pretty terrible and the Devs have no business making console versions of their mediocre games as clearly they only care for PC and will half arse console ports.

@Balaam_ Starfield targets 60fps on the SS but it almost never reaches it.

@Ricky-Spanish The game gets more chaotic and the bigger visual effects come at higher difficulties. When you're playing at higher difficulties the maps turn into never ending warzones especially with the machine enemies where the game turns into the future battles from Terminator. Early on the game can feel modest but you will find as you go along the carnage goes into insane levels.

@JON22 Higher res screens will make lower res games look worse. 720p on a 1080p or 720p screen will look fine but on a 4K screen it will look pretty bad and blurry.

@Ricky-Spanish Some people believe the Earth is flat but it doesn't make them right. The Devs have out right said there was no deal.

@Ricky-Spanish If they had a deal why hasn't Sony said anything? Why there no footage of the PS5 version prior to launch except a 1 min vid from IGN Japan? Why is the PS5 version dreadful? Why is the Pro update dreadful? What exactly did Sony get from this supposed deal?

Want to know the likely story? The Devs put all the focus on the PS5 version as they had never made a console game before so rather then overwhelming themselves they focused on the PS5. Once they started working on the Xbox version they ran into problems with the SS and giving their lack of experience the issues were bigger to them then others. They picked August 20th as the release date for both PS5 last year and Xbox this year because that date is important to them.

Its not real 60fps its faked with framegen and it feels dreadful.

@WildConcept6 The game can't even do 60fps on the Pro, its fake 60fps as in they framegen from 30fps and its awful. Res is pretty blurry as well no matter the mode or console and the visual settings are pretty low or very low PC settings with none of the visual stuff that makes the PC version so pretty.

@Ricky-Spanish You say that but Lies of P and the Nioh games are easily up there with the best of From games with LiP surpassing most of From's titles.

Will be interesting to how much of a mess it is on Xbox giving how much of a mess it is still is on PS5 and PS5 Pro. The console version is a scam imo.

Giving what a disaster Unreal Stutter 5 is things might have been worse.

@FarmDog08 Released a multiple GOTY award winner last year as well as one of the most popular live service games in recent time that's even getting an Xbox port next month.

Yeah i double dipped for PS5 mainly because i owned it on my Series S so i wanted that visual boost from the Pro. One of my fav games this Gen so had no issue buying it again.

Its really good but yeah not as good as 1+2 and part of me thinks it should have been an expansion rather then full game.

I will say i adore the Secret Shop and what it offers.

@Ricky-Spanish Well its hard to be positive right now with MS to be fair. I will say i'm glad Helldivers 2 is coming to Xbox, in fact i hope Sony adds Xbox to the day 1 releases for live service games like PC. I also thinks its really cool that Helldivers 2 and Gears are releasing the same day, its cool synergy and a nice handshake between Sony and MS. Also another positive one is one of my most hyped games is a MS published one in Clockwork Revolution, i thought it looked incredible and i'm happy MS are supporting it.

@somnambulance Helldivers 2 actually has a USP unlike Concord. Concord offered nothing new but Helldivers 2 is unlike anything else. Concord being sold at $40 also ran into the trouble of every other big hero shooter being F2P.
