@Ricky-Spanish Nah he's pretty far up he has a ton of say and deserves all the backlash. He's a snake always has been and wouldn't think twice about stabbing his own Mum in the back for a pay rise. Easily one of the worst most incompetent people to have a leadership role in gaming.

Spencer really is a slimy snake, that message is disgusting and shows how little f bomb's Spencer actually has for these people.

@Ricky-Spanish I haven't watched 28 Years Later yet but i think its overrated and the critics are biased. See how dumb that sounds. Its not like you based that opinion on having seen a load of gameplay from streams or heard the game is buggy and broken but you haven't you're just salty a website gave it a 10 while another game you like got a 9 on it.

@Ricky-Spanish Have you played Death Stranding 2 and finished it? If not you can't really judge review scores from people who have actually played and finished it especially when the game isn't out yet.

@Ricky-Spanish I game just fine on my SS. I'm not wrong though Xbox is a "gamepass" console and its why Forza and Gears are now on PS5 as Xbox players rarely buy games.

@Gabrie Dude the only reason MS has gone this route is because Xbox the consoles aren't selling and because of Gamepass their games that cost millions upon millions to make aren't selling. MS is latching on to Gamepass and PC and porting to PS/Switch because it has no choice. Its not about change its about pivoting to something else because you're so far bottom there's no hope of ever getting high again. Quite frankly i think the next "Xbox" will be an utter disaster and will finally see MS leave console hardware all together as they fully become Sega 2.0. Sony like Nintendo will do fine because they are the only two console makers who have truly understood the console market, its why they built themselves back up if something went wrong and why to this day PS and Nintendo consoles are still going very strong while Xbox is all but dead.

@Balaam_ Devil May Cry 3 and 5 exist so right there is two games that exist that beat Stellar Blade in combat. Don't get me wrong SB has great combat but its far from the best.

@themightyant This. People complained Forza 5 was too much on PS5 yet the game has been a massive hit on PS5 and has made MS very happy.

Yeah not exactly shocking its not doing well on the Gamepass console. This is why Sony have zero interest in supporting Xbox as their games wouldn't sell on it.

Not a FF16 fan but Remake is excellent so enjoy when it finally comes out on Xbox.

B i think is fair. Lots of really cool stuff but i feel it lacked that BIG reveal and ending with COD was deflating. Again though really solid showcase though.

Thought this looked fantastic, easily the highlight so far of the show.

@Kaloudz August 20th is an important date for the Devs, they also released trailers and reveals on that date as well. They most likely are releasing the game on that date because its an important to them just like why it was the same date for PS5.

Also trust me if Sony had a timed deal then they wasted their money as they done zero marketing for it, the PS5 version had only a 1 minute clip released 2 days prior to release to show that version off, the PS5 version is pretty awful both visually and in performance (its 60fps is faked using frame gen and its awful) and the Pro update was really bad and only added a mid 40fps mode. Sony got nothing from this supposed deal.

@GeeForce Missing the point. MS need the Playstation audience but Sony doesn't need the Xbox audience. I bet if Sony ported TLoU over to Xbox it wouldn't crack 1M and many will just "wait for it on Gamepass". Isn't Indy already selling more on PS5 then Xbox? Yeah that's why MS are now a 3rd party publisher who just so happen to have a console as well

@Sindayl I mean Sony didn't ask MS for their games MS went to them because they finally realised they need to sell games and not just "give them away". Sony don't need MS but MS needs Sony.

@SaltySpitoon957 Annoyingly its not a bug. The issue is the QTE is timed for 30fps as GTA IV on console was designed for 30fps but with it now 60fps the timing is now broking.

Gears 2 by far. Gears 3 is the most "complete" Gears but Gears 2 campaign is perfect.

Its wild the 2TB SX will cost more then the Pro.

@scoobdoo The monsters are a danger to the Ecosystem and that's why you hunt them. Canon wise you're never hunting them in the numbers you the player commits.

@Banjo- Big and better then ever yet Halo is coming to PS5 and Switch 2 and the Series consoles have sold far worse then the X1 and Gamepass subs have ground to a halt.

@cragis0001 The PS5 outsold both Xbox and Switch combined last year. MS has waved the white flag and Halo will be on PS5 most likely Pro enhanced meaning it will look and play better on PS5 Pro then Series X. I bet Sony can't believe their luck they have no competition anymore.

@Prestige-worldwide It won't grow because most people like owning games more then renting them. MS always have that "great line up" at the start of the year and nothing changes. Gamepass is not going to grow especially with the constant price hikes and downgrades it gets yearly now.

@IOI To be honest this is a great year for both PS and Xbox. Got to remember Death Stranding 2 and the new Ghost game are hitting PS5 this year and its all but confirmed the entire GoW Greek Saga will be getting a remaster this year to tie with the series anniversary. In fact throw in the Switch 2 and all 3 console makers are having a great line up for 2025.

@Prestige-worldwide Why would anyone buy an Xbox next gen when all of Xbox 1st party games will be on PS6? You say Gamepass but here's the thing this Gen has proving Gamepass isn't actually that big and doesn't sell consoles. There's no real reason to own a Xbox anymore when all of its games will be on PS6 and Switch 2. MS are going to become the next Sega and that sucks for everyone.

Its madness that Halo is all but confirmed for PS5. MS and Phil can spin it all they want but the fact they have been reduced to putting Halo on Playstation is an utter failure on how MS/Phil has handled Xbox. Imagine if Nintendo out Mario on Playstation/Xbox? Yeah very hard to imagine.

@fatpunkslim Dude nothing is exclusive for Xbox anymore and the next Xbox will be the last Xbox as MS will become Sega 2.0. Everything you listed will hit PS5 and Switch 2 sooner or later.

Its all but been officially confirmed Halo is coming to PS5 so yeah press x to doubt.

@fatpunkslim Forspoken isn't hasn't been announced for Xbox nor has Nioh. P3 Reloaded and MGS Collection were never exclusive to PS, Crash 4 again never exclusive. Like so much misinformation with your post. Also there's a difference between 2nd and 3rd party games and actual 1st party games and its why God of War will never come over and why Xbox fans aren't happy Halo will no doubt hit PS5.

@GeeForce Sure but Sony have always outsold even with that massive head start the 360 had. Prime comes out next year but MS have little for it because while they have moved into next gen no one else actually has, basically the Prime is a PS5 Pro with a better CPU until Sony release the PS6 that will be more powerful, maybe cheaper if MS price too high and would have learned from whatever the Prime offers. MS will get a small boost early on but as soon as the PS6 drops well that's it the industry moves and Prime is yesterdays news as the "real" next gen console has arrived.

I like the name if they go with that. I do think it will be the last real console MS make and releasing a console before Sony has always be a questionable move that rarely pays off i mean just ask Sega.

Want to know what the real issue is? The Devs have sod all experience with consoles, this was the first console game they ever made and it very much shows like with the sheer abuse of frame gen and other weird choices. A better more experienced team could most likely get far better visuals and at a real 60fps but these Devs are clearly still learning. Finally they're using an outdated version of Unreal 5 so that doesn't help either.

@DannZan Every game Sony published last year got tons of marketing, Rebirth even got tons of Sony marketing despite SE publishing it. Sony market the games they put money into because of course they would and they wouldn't have IGN China reveal the first PS5 footage of it a day before release. As the Devs have confirmed the issue is the Series S, the PS5 version struggles and has to fake 60fps on it even on the Pro so why do you think the SS version should be fine when the most powerful console ever has issues with it?

@Weebleman Phil knew exactly what he was saying by mentioning the word "deals", did he lie? Not exactly but knew the drama his statement would cause.

@FraserG If Sony had a deal with the devs then the PS5 version wouldn't be so bad and the Pro update wouldn't be so lackluster. The lack of marketing from Sony also kills the timed deal idea as well.
