To be honest I’m way more excited for the Switch 2 than this.

I think it’s great so far. I sucked bad at Infinite so enjoy the change of pace in this game. I’ll go back to Infinite after I’ve completed it to see if I’ve upped my skills.

@rustyduck wow. That’s an effort. I’m about 5 years behind at this rate.

For me it was mostly the controller. I just didn’t find the DualShock on PS2 comfortable at all but the Xbox 360 controller felt very natural.

Can’t wait. Hades is my favourite game of the last 5 years. So easy to pick back up after not playing for a while also.

This sounds awesome!! First person took Indy from a maybe to a definite for me, but I can feel the pain for those that wanted third person.

Damn I want Titanfall to be front and centre again with a more carefully selected release window.

Can’t wait. Loved Season 1 and just wish I had time to rewatch it first.

Easily my favourite feature and heavily influences what games I’m playing if I’m in a flick between a few different games period of life.

Really sad. Timesplitters 2 and Future Perfect are my two favourite FPS and haven’t been beaten for split screen fun. Would have loved a new game or even a remastered collection of the best of the old games.

As soon as this is out and there’s another sale on consoles I’ll be doubling down with another Series X for the kids playroom. Get on with it Microsoft!

I really hope the crashing is fixed where you lose the last race. If I have to do that bloody race in my VL Commodore for a 6th time to get it to save I’m going to give up forever. Just ridiculous how often it’s crashing, at least I’ve gone back to Starfield as a result.

When it’s not wasting 30 minute chunks of my life I’m loving it though!

Glad to hear it. I’ve never played Fallout, Skyrim etc. and am hooked on Starfield. I didn’t watch any gameplay videos or leaks leading up to it so it all feels fresh and new to me.

45 hours in, haven’t started the story, am loving the gunplay and space combat but have barely scratched the surface with ship building etc (just had to mod a ship for the first time to get that darn contraband in).

Really need to keep rolling with MK1 which is awesome too, but Starfield.

I can just about sleep through anything after a day at work now.

I loaded mine up via Turkey or Brazil a couple of times but now I’m just happy to pay the monthly fee. It’s worth it and GamePass has saved us so much money it’s silly over the years.

I absolutely have a burning desire for a Japanese location! This series is bloody popular, reinventing the wheel could be a bad move.

If a game I want is on Gamepass I don’t buy it. If it’s not on Gamepass I buy it. If I bought it and it comes out on Gamepass I trade it. If I’ve traded it and it leaves Gamepass but I didn’t get around to playing it I buy it again. The cycle continues and now I’ve confused myself.

Take as long as you need. I’d rather wait another year and have a polished game I can’t put down.

This is great news! Haven’t been able to play an AoE game in a long time! Definitely happy to connect a keyboard and mouse but keen to see what gamepad support will be like.

I mean who cares about online multiplayer in Goldeneye. This game is all about split screen!!

Online multiplayer on the switch however makes sense if people are on a Lite or hand held mode.

If no more Gamepass games were released for the rest of the year I’d be happy and never clear my backlog.

Guess if you get time to game all day every day it’s be a different story.

Have been looking forward to this. More of a family subscription than Nintendos by the sound of it. Will be worth getting a Series S for the kids so we can play each other without needing a second subscription. Does it work for purchases outside of Gamepass I wonder. Or do I have it all wrong 😂

My TV does it all. But if I’m already connected to the Xbox with my headphones on I’ll just use it. No headphones, just TV apps. It’s good having multiple options.

I just wish the LG magic remote still worked with the series X.

FH5 is the first game in the series to get me proper hooked. I did have a lull for a few months because so many good games have been coming out but I’m back and playing everyday. I don’t know what they did to make it more addictive but it works on me anyway.

Maybe if I smashed it hard at the start I’d be burnt out now but that’s the same for any game.

I can’t believe that initial part is real. Looks like cut plastic to me and they don’t open the cut to prove that it’s cake. I know we can have edible stickers and plastic etc but partway through this video they switch from cake to game cases.

I already had to buy one for my Series X. My games are few but huge, the kids games are small but many. It was a constant uninstall/reinstall battle. But now we’re living the dream. Got it at $270ish which wasn’t too bad.

@themcnoisy True. I’ve been too lucky to miss any server outages and the nbn has been solid. But yep thanks for pointing that out.

@A01 Out if interest do you not have your internet running constantly? I’ve seen many complaints about this over the years but I’ve never even thought about it or seen it as an issue. Thought I’d finally ask someone.

They could not add another game until 2023 and I’d still have enough backlog to keep me going. As it stands at the moment all the fun indie releases are great for keeping the kids amused too. I’m paid up until next year with no regrets.

I would rather the developers use their resources for polishing or improving the game rather than having to package a demo.

Yep. It will flick back to Xbox after you’ve been on another input. That’s the new feature.

Turning in your TV and instantly switching across is an old feature and great.

Just need to see if I can stop the Xbox turning on when I plug a controller in to charge.

Give them a week or maybe a month to do a U turn.

Hoping for Fable. Loved 2 & 3 (the magic system was best in 2). Tried to play Fable Anniversary but it was too dated to enjoy.
