Last weekend at the Halo World Championship finals, the voice of Master Chief, Steve Downes, got up to some mischief, teasing fans while they took pictures with a lifesize Spartan-117 statue.
The official Halo YouTube and social channels have uploaded the short sketch, which features a guest cameo from Jen Taylor (the voice of Cortana, and The Weapon). You can also check out a separate video showing off the voice of the legendary Spartan making his way to this year's event.
In case you missed it, Phil Spencer was also in attendance at the Halo finals — thanking everyone for all of their "energy" at the event — while Xbox's Major Nelson also showed up.
In terms of what's next for Halo generally, 343 Industries has outlined a huge update coming to Halo Infinite on November 8th. It'll feature Season 3 multiplayer content, co-op campaign, the game's Forge mode and much more.
