Microsoft fighting for preservation? That is a joke. They helped created this hell-hole digital market they could at least not make such an incredulous statement.
Would be nice to have some more top games on the BC list, Max Payne 3 anyone?, but this is primarily up to the publishers and not Microsoft. I am expecting a Max Payne trilogy remaster at some point anyway.
They purposefully hid the PS4 and Xbox One versions from preview and released it in a buggy mess. CD Projekt are now just like any other big name AAA publisher, out for a quick buck before the next financial year.
I received a £3 code last year. And I hadn't spent anything on Xbox live for many years prior. Used it to purchase the cheap add-ons for Lost Odyssey on Xbox 360. Not expecting to get it again this year.
Revelations for me was the second video game in my entire life to make me cry. The music and overall story just blew my mind. If I could choose more than one game it would be the entire Desmond saga even if the ending of ACIII was disappointing.
Every time something new enters the house my cat, Elmo, has to explore it intimately. Every nook and cranny. Will be the same with an XSX when I finally get one.
Probably playing Original Xbox and Xbox 360 games. Possibly pricing up a second hand Xbox One X. I learnt with the last few generations not to buy a brand new console release for at least a year to allow for manufacture kinks to be worked out. Usually Fall of the next year gives a new system enough time to build a pretty library to get stuck into too, may even leave it till 2022.... Who knows with all the craziness going on.
Currently playing a Paragon playthrough of Mass Effect on 360. Some say the planetary exploration is tedious but I enjoy being curious and finding equipment and random assignment objectives. Love Mass Effect and am quite excited to play a rerelease when it finally arrives.
Well... Obviously the suits at Zenimax took over when Skyrim and the Fallout series became such a huge success. Turning Bethesda into a publishing megacorporation rather than a focusing on developing great games.
I am hoping Microsoft turns them around and gives us what we have been waiting for the last 9 years.. the next big Elder Scrolls game that improves on what it's predecessors brought to the table. They need to work on the the way they build the games. All the recent Elder Scrolls and Fallout games use the same animation, environmental techniques and world mechanics, which are currently showing their age and is especially noticeable in Fallout 76. Serious consideration must be made from the ground up if they are not to make another mess of things.
We can only hope... And Todd... The proof will be in the pudding, mate. No amount of crap talking can redeem you of what happened with FO76.
Halo 3 created some of my fondest gaming memories, and the reason why I bought the Xbox 360. Was super excited to go pick up the game and an Xbox 360 Elite from my local Gamestation that morning (I didn't and still don't do midnight launches), there were some expected Xbox live issues that day but to be honest I was more interested in the campaign and gladly got stuck in. Multiplayer had me glued to the TV every night for 2 years, especially for Big Team Battles. And I will never forget the online friendships I forged that are still going strong to this day. All thanks to Halo 3. Thank you Halo/Bungie team, you were my heroes of the noughties.

Re: Ubisoft Is Now Selling XP Boosts In Assassin's Creed Valhalla
Unwanted but I expected as much after Ghost Recon Breakpoint.

Re: eBay Scalpers Have Reportedly Made Around $10m From The Xbox Series X
All this points out is people are too impatient and stupid with their money. I'm quite happy to wait until the first or second price drop.
Re: Retailer Cancels Xbox Series X Orders From Scalper Group Due To Error
The joys of gaming one generation behind. Just picked up an Xbox One X. Exciting times ahead.
Re: Feature: Celebrating The 15th Anniversary Of The Xbox 360
I loved it. But it also started the trend of DLC and microtransactions in full price games. Including first party games which should be a big no-no.

Re: UK Retailer CEX Will Take Your Xbox Series X For A Guaranteed £100 Profit
CEX are disgusting anyway. Their staff have no idea what they are selling and their products and services are inconsistent.
Re: TIME Magazine Calls The Xbox Series S One Of The Best Inventions Of 2020
It will be mostly defunct in a few years. A stop gap machine at best. Most games later than 2023 will have to be played on the cloud on the S.

Re: Yep, YouTubers Are Already Smashing Up The Xbox Series X
Why give these money grubbers the light of day? Just giving them more views for more advertising cash.

Re: Talking Point: What Will You Be Playing First On Xbox Series X|S?
Probably Elder Scrolls VI in 2-3 years time.
Re: Xbox Has Reportedly Approached Several Japanese Devs About A Buyout
Mistwalker. Do it Microsoft. Do it soon. Before Sakaguchi retires.
Re: UK Retailer Warns Of More Potential Xbox Series X Delivery Delays
Reminds me of the air industry, oversell in expectation not everyone turns up. And if they do, some of the customers lose out.
