Re: Xbox Claiming It 'Fights For Game Preservation' Is Met With Backlash

Microsoft fighting for preservation? That is a joke. They helped created this hell-hole digital market they could at least not make such an incredulous statement.

Would be nice to have some more top games on the BC list, Max Payne 3 anyone?, but this is primarily up to the publishers and not Microsoft. I am expecting a Max Payne trilogy remaster at some point anyway.

Re: Talking Point: What Are Your Xbox Series X|S Launch Day Plans?

Probably playing Original Xbox and Xbox 360 games. Possibly pricing up a second hand Xbox One X. I learnt with the last few generations not to buy a brand new console release for at least a year to allow for manufacture kinks to be worked out. Usually Fall of the next year gives a new system enough time to build a pretty library to get stuck into too, may even leave it till 2022.... Who knows with all the craziness going on.

Re: Bethesda's Games Will Be 'Better' Under Microsoft, Says Todd Howard

Well... Obviously the suits at Zenimax took over when Skyrim and the Fallout series became such a huge success. Turning Bethesda into a publishing megacorporation rather than a focusing on developing great games.

I am hoping Microsoft turns them around and gives us what we have been waiting for the last 9 years.. the next big Elder Scrolls game that improves on what it's predecessors brought to the table. They need to work on the the way they build the games. All the recent Elder Scrolls and Fallout games use the same animation, environmental techniques and world mechanics, which are currently showing their age and is especially noticeable in Fallout 76. Serious consideration must be made from the ground up if they are not to make another mess of things.

We can only hope... And Todd... The proof will be in the pudding, mate. No amount of crap talking can redeem you of what happened with FO76.

Re: It's Been 13 Long Years Since Halo 3 Finished The Fight

Halo 3 created some of my fondest gaming memories, and the reason why I bought the Xbox 360. Was super excited to go pick up the game and an Xbox 360 Elite from my local Gamestation that morning (I didn't and still don't do midnight launches), there were some expected Xbox live issues that day but to be honest I was more interested in the campaign and gladly got stuck in. Multiplayer had me glued to the TV every night for 2 years, especially for Big Team Battles. And I will never forget the online friendships I forged that are still going strong to this day. All thanks to Halo 3. Thank you Halo/Bungie team, you were my heroes of the noughties.
