I've not seen this on the store and I visit it every week to see what DLC they've added.
I would be way beyond pissed if I lost my game save though... having put in over 13 hours now (level 35) I would probably never touch the game again... and that's best case scenario!
Presumably they feel it would drive new sales of the game if they are keen to make this happen? I know I'd buy it digitally in an instant if it appeared on the BC list as it's a great game.
One of the few re-mastered games I haven't already played. Is this the one that's supposed to be like Infamous? Might give it a punt if the price is right (ie about £20).
Those 360 titles would be so much more compelling if MS came out and said that all Games on Demand games will be made BC at some point in the future...
This is actually a lot better than it looks but the puzzles do get very tricky quite quickly! It's actually a physics puzzle game - you basically draw stuff on the screen and once drawn an object will obey the (simplified) laws of physics in the game. Draw a slope and then draw a ball at the top of it and the ball will roll down the slope. Draw a see-saw with a ball on one end and draw a much bigger ball above the other end and it will drop onto the see-saw launching the smaller ball into the air... as I said it's a lot more fun than the screenshot and description suggest
@A_BabyRed_Yoshi I absolutely love The Witcher game... I've been playing it for almost 100 hours and not once have I been bored. Have to say I'm surprised at this myself. Going into it I was daunted by the prospect of playing such a large game... but now I find myself doing side missions and exploring the map just to keep the end of the story at bay. Roll on the DLC!
Slim pickings for me this month - already got everything except So Many Me which I know nothing about but will probably at least try.
By way of contrast my friend, who's only just become an Xbox owner, is delighted about getting Black Flag for free - he bought into the EA Access thing too, just before they added Titanfall so he's got a ton of games to play for virtually no outlay and couldn't be happier!
Seriously though, I've been thinking of getting a 2nd Xbox for a while... this might be just the excuse I need to get a new one and relegate my old one to backup media center and game machine
Whilst I'm glad it's getting a sequel I'm very disappointed and surprised they have shifted focus so soon. I would have expected them to spend (a lot) more time polishing and supporting the game I've only just shelled out £50 on.
I don't think it will be anywhere near as good without the gamepad (or smartglass). It was a really good showcase for what the gamepad could bring to gaming and without it I guess it would have been a so-so survival horror. The gamepad really elevated it into an unforgettable experience for me and the best game I have on my WiiU.
If they don't offer smartglass integration to replicate the gamepad functions then I'm not really interested...
I wonder if the likes of PDZ, Viva Pinata and Kameo will just be using the backwards compatibility feature and if not will they still be compatible with 360 saved games?
@NaughtyOttsel22 Your position on TR seems a little odd to me... yeah it started out on PS but TR has been on the xbox for many, many years. TR Legend, Underworld, Anniversary as well as the recent reboot all launched on the Xbox as well as the PS...
They were all pretty much 'Must have' for me except for Fable and Sea of Thieves as I'm not sure about how much of the focus is on multiplayer. Gigantic didn't grab me so that's a maybe. Of the total newcomers I'm most looking forward to ReCore which really captured my imagination when I saw the trailer.
@SuperKMx I just did a bit of digging and some are saying that at the moment the beta currently only supports North American disk based games? Don't know if that's true... but might explain it...
@SuperKMx I didn't either - I originally had it as a physical game but traded it in a long time ago when I'd completed it. I bought it again digitally the other day as soon as I found out about the backwards compatibility. I installed it on my 360, checked the saved game still loaded and copied it to the cloud... but it's not showing up to download at all. Only my old XBLA games have showed up...
I need to revisit this and see what the fuss is about. I think I started out with a jetpack on my goat and I just could not control it properly to save my life... I wandered around aimlessly for a bit wondering what to do and then just turned it off....
I've played TM: Nations on PC and have to admit it was a lot of fun and that was just controlling the car with a keyboard so will definitely be looking out for this when it's released.
Looking forward to this... quite happy to see a change to the way the snap feature works. Could be a bit of a pain to have your gaming screen shrunk down to accommodate the contents of the snap screen - would prefer it overlaid over the main screen as it appears to be in the demo.
Just hope we all get the real Cortana voice and not the British version they gave us on Windows phone which was just wrong...
I'm a bit late to the party in spotting this bit of stonking news but this looks absolutely awesome... and Peter Cullen and co are on board to do the voices as well! Couldn't be happier... Autobots roll out!
That would be really cool if they just say 'it's available right now!'... whether it still has the ability to grab my attention like it did on my trusty Commodore 64 back in the day I don't know!
Looking forward to Fallout 4 a lot... but not as much as Halo 5...
Do agree with BAM about the character models though. Bethesda really need to up their game in this department. Going from Witcher to EOS really makes the latter feel dated... not only with the character models but the clunky interface where every encounter with an NPC has them positioned in a little box with dialogue options down the side... the lack of spoken dialogue for your own character disappoints too...
I'm OK with 3D TV and Cinema, even though I need prescription glasses. However I cannot focus my eyes on anything closer than about 18" away from my face so cannot see me getting this on any platform.
@Rezalack Couldn't agree more... a combination of the novel use of the gamepad, permadeath and to a degree the unique setting in London all helped to make this the best survival horror I'd played until Alien Isolation came out.
@Gamer83 You have a point with Outlast but my issue with it was more that it was too intense to play for long - I just found it an exhausting experience and sort of gave up on it...
@sinalefa I was lucky that I missed the big game-breaking bug on my playthrough and got right to end end without really seeing anything seriously wrong. I believe they did eventually patch that though.
I thought the graphics were fine though - not mind blowing but they did the job well enough.
Like the look of this a lot! Got to admit the music does elevate what could be a fairly mundane video into something special but nevertheless its definitely on my 'to watch out for' list now.
Smartglass to replace gamepad? Or just have an on-screen inventory but you would lose that squeaky bum feeling when you look away from the TV to get something our of your backpack or enter a door lock code...
Great news if its true though - this was my favourite WiiU game and I'd dearly love to see a sequel on the Xbox at some point
I hope so, the Order got quite a bit of stick when it launched but I grew to really enjoy it and it's one of the (very) few games I've actually completed on the Playstation. I would love to see it (or its sequel) come across to my favourite console .
She hasn't paid a penny so far... but she can sometimes spend several days replaying the same level over and over until she does it. You seem to need a lot of luck with some of the levels to do them without the powerups... you only get a few lives too and then you have to stop playing for a while or pay up...
She's up to around level 100 or so now... she likes it so much (and has invested so much time in it) that she insisted I transfer her game and all her progress across to her new phone when she upgraded recently!
My wife loves this game - she's always playing it on her phone...
She's always complaining that the game is ridiculously hard though - trying to force you into buying the power-ups (which ain't cheap). I would hope that they drop the micro-transactions, charge a one-off fee and make it easier to play otherwise they're going to get a lot of hate...
Snowball fight... my guess would be some sort of multiplayer addition where matched gems cause a snowball to appear on your opponents screen?
Nice review - I was wondering whether it would add anything new to the mix to make it worth me purchasing this again but it seems it hasn't. I've been playing this on my tablet and it really is a great little game. Simple to pickup and play but very tricky to master and perfect for bite-size gaming sessions. The achievements on this would be a nightmare too...
If they had added more levels, some music or maybe a windows version with cloud saving between that and the xbox version then I might have bitten.
I really want to get this... my only concern is that this launched on the PlayStation as a free PS+ game... If I splash out £12 on it now it would be a bit annoying if it became one of the next GwG offerings...
I got this on a whim at launch and have been having a great time with it, totally agree with the review. My only issue is one of the levels refuses to accept that I've collected all the ladybugs no matter how many times I successfully complete it which is really annoying...

Re: Batgirl: A Matter of Family DLC Coming to Arkham Knight This Month
Same here - I'm not interested in challenge maps or more races or stuff like that but story-based content I'm all for.
The season pass was on offer on CDkeys last week but it was all sold out last time I looked...

Re: Poll: Your E3 2015 Xbox One Digital Game of The Show
Where's Recore? - I want to give that my vote... along with Elite.
I tried the demo of 'The Long Dark' - quickly deleted it. Absolute garbage, even if it is a work in progress.

I've just googled 'doozy' and I'm still unsure whether you think this is going to be really good or really bad!
From a purely graphical viewpoint it looks pretty poor in comparison to the 10 year old Hexic that I'm now able to play on my Xbox One
