Not surprised with the increased push for play anywhere. Now it makes more sense to buy digital to get the console and pc version as well.

Is it true you have to link your epic account or it wont let you play the single player campaing? im reading lots of bad reviews on the xbox store regarding that.

I'm a seafarer. I travel 10 months a year for work. I'll get the X verison as soon as i can. No more traveling with heavy consoles or gaming laptops. I'm totally in.

@The-Chosen-one Thats not what this is at all. you can stream yes, but that's optional. you can install and play natively the xbox/pc games you own included as Play Anywhere.

@Elbow Its a completely new entry in the series. Is not tied to previous games in story. so it looks very accessible to new players.

As long as they make a dedicated windows 11 portable OS with XBOX app as the heart of the device, that would work. Something that resembles Steam OS. Actually looking forward for this.

@KITG_Group_BrunoB Im there with you. I love xbox but dont subscribe to gamepass. I dont like subscription services of any kind. I only buy the games I know I want and will play.

Already have Sunset overdrive physical but I'm thinking of buying the definitive edition on sale. Am I crazy if I start buying digital games I already own on disc to prepare for the future Xbox handheld?

Best ones are 2 and 3. worst one by far is 5. those open world areas where a pain.

Backwards compatibility is probably the only reason im sticking with xbox. My physical and digital Og Xbox, 360 and one is extremely important to me.

I love my xbox series x, but i can only play it on vacations at home. Im away most of the year and i always travel with my switch. The moment Xbox release a dedicated handheld that play games natively, not on the cloud, im there day 1. im holding into buying a steam deck hoping for this as my xbox library is much much bigger.

Buy your games. dont ever depend on any subscription service. not on video games, music, movies, software etc.

The semi open world parts where completely unnecessary for a Gears game. It ruined the game for me. Not every game need to be an open world. Its in my opinion the worst gears of all. But the hivebusters DLC was amazing. better than the main game,

Nice. i was obsessed with Starbpund on steam like 7 years ago. I would definitelt try it again on Xbox. maybe it will even have better performance.

@Spider-Kev you can do that. its been a feature for years. check your energy saving options. You can lower or completely turn off brightness on the controller home button and the console power on/off button.

Wonder if its gonna be a real physical edition for xbox series x, or is it smart delivery and the disc comes with the xbox one version like 90% of series x "physical" games

4 or 5 dont even come close to the original trilogy.

4 was just ok. Gears 5 visual quality was amazing but I hated the open world areas. as visually stunning as it was roaming around in that vehicle to reach the next destination, i was also very bored. Those areas are completely unnecessary and i feel they where added because now pople think every game need to be an open world. It does not.

Not at all. the open world sections of gears 5 where my least favorite parts of the game.

Why was Alan Wake xbox exclusive back in the xbox 360 days and is not anymore? this is one of the things that annoys me as a loyal xbox user. so many good games microsoft could not or didnt want to hold on as exclusive to make more money selling them everywhere. Cuphead and Ori also. No surprise we are losing two generations in a row.

Notice how they will release different PS4 and PS5 versions, but only XBOX version? this means it will be the XBO verison and we will download he series x version via smart delivery. this is horrible for us who want a real physical nexgen version.

Simple as this..... DRM need to dissapear. is time to push microsoft to stop this absurd practice. I understand DRM for gamepass titles cause you rent them. but there is never a justification for games you own. digitsl or physycal. games should be yours. remember how microsoft had lot of backlash when they tried to implement DRM on Xbox One launch. but it seems they are now quielty doing it again. This has to stop NOW!

I finished all battle pass first season. but im not willing to do the same this time. I realized i was getting stressed over this stuoid challenges instead of having fun. I'll be back to Halo infinite when we have a normal progression instead of challemges.

I bought games even though it was on gamepass. I like to own games not just rent them. Pshychonauts 2 the perfect example. and if physical version comes out I will buy it again

The only problem with the game is the challenges system are mandatory to level up season pass. those should remain but as extras not as the only way to get XP. It took me almost two monts to complete season pass. lots of grinding. but , and this is the most important part.... I did the grind cause game is super fun to play. shootin fells so good. game engine is amazing.

I Want a physical version. As a Physical game collector, it kinda worries me that xbox have less and less disc versions of their games recently. hope this one does.

Game is amazing. i dont mind if we have to wait for more maps. I love how shooting feels. the game mechanics are very good. BUT..... the season pass leveling up is absolutely ridiculous. yje fact that your perfromance dont matter at all and you only get xp with those ridiculous challenges is horrible. Thats my only complain about the game. love the game but I HATE.. and i really mean it... i HATE the xp system.

Dead Space 1 was amazing. Dead Space 2 was even better and scarier. Dead Space 3 was a complete let down when they implemented that grind and leveling up system. Still I will get this remake for the first two games.
