@graysoncharles i mean those games that made possible to run at doubled framerate due to some back-compat technique developed by Xbox BC team and doesn't necessarily need to have any intervention from the original developer.
Great news but is there any update regarding 30fps-only xbox one games that will run at doubled framerate on Series X | S? So far we only got Fallout 4
The mentality of those people who game all day & everyday and got nothing else to do anymore in their life : sending death threats just because a particular game is delayed.
Honestly DMC 5 runs at 120fps on Series S is already pretty good. It's somewhat stupid from microsoft side advertising raytracing support on Series S while most(if not all) 3rd party developers will put all that power to the performance and not giving a damn about raytracing on Series S' games. 1st party side, minecraft most likely will have raytracing on Series S but i really doubt other titles with demanding graphics like Hellblade 2 will do the same. Glad to be proven wrong though.
Can't really tell the difference from phone screen with video quality set to 1080p60, slightly prettier i guess. Is the trailer based from the game's final build?
Mid-gen upgrade is cool and i would like to see new Series S with better processing power, disc drive, and 1TB SSD or more with $200 price tag or less 🥴
@FraserG 4K upscaled 1080p UI? Still all good then. Well pretty sure someone from xbox dev team already read these UI stuffs and gonna do something about it.
Definitely not a deal breaker but again if the advantage is coming from some "giant" competitor, fanboys will spin it like "So much from most powerful console in the world 12 tflops bla bla bla but the UI only renders at 1080p??? LOL" and will somehow view their hi-res UI as 'game-changing' feature that redefine next generation gaming 😆
Huh .. i genuinely didn't care about this but seems like i'm wrong all this time? I thought it was like PC when you simply change the display output resolution then UI & everything else will follow up accordingly. So i thought XSX UI runs at 4K when your display & output resolution is 4K 😕
For those who can't see the difference in the video, the video itself might only played at 30fps with built-in web player. Just click those 3 dots in upper right corner and click watch later. Then just watch the video via Youtube app but change the quality to 1080p60/720p60 first.
This based on phone browser, i haven't viewed it from PC browser so i don't know.
Oh my ... that's quite disappointing. Normal setting in Series X is dynamic 4K at 60fps right? If they can't even do dynamic 1080p at 60fps then i don't know what to say anymore
Quite unrelated question but has been bugging me for a while, if i happen to only own physical games(no digital games at all), can i do quick resume on Series X/S without changing disk every time i changed my game?
