It's been a long time coming, but things are really kicking into gear now with Playground's Fable reboot. We've got the team's full gameplay reveal coming later this week via Xbox Developer Direct, and ahead of that showcase in a few days' time, a load of fresh Fable concept art has leaked online.
Coming by way of outlet MP1st, this big batch of Fable concept art shows sprawling open-world environments, charming little villages, underground dungeon locations and more besides. This is just concept art of course and is subject to change once the game is being built, but it shows the general direction that Playground is heading in here.

We think this all looks super promising, and now all eyes are on whether the final product can deliver on what's clearly a strong vision here from Playground Games. This artwork, combined with what we know about the cast and overall vibe of the game, certainly sets a strong foundation for the team delivering on what we all know and love about the Fable series.
