God, I miss the Xbox 360

I personally think I'm forever out on xbox now sadly, what with being burnt by MS and Series S, plus all the gamepass price increases etc. I'll be PS5/6 and maybe Switch 2 going forward. Hope those who get the next xbox are happy (and hopefully, it's not too expensive!)

I done a gameplay videos of Exit 8, it took me 17 minutes and a few odd seconds

As a PlayStation main, I'll concede that this is my favourite car game of ALL time. I still fire up my digital copy on my daughters hand-me-down One S from time to time

Happened to me too. I bought Halo MCC ages ago (on disc) and bought Halo 3odst and Halo Reach to complete the collection. H3 odst is still there but Reach has vanished, been like that for over a year

@Weebleman that's what I was thinking - pay £35 for access to the game 3 days early, that you don't own. People can't be THAT gullible can they?!

So, the SX has gone 'up' to UK price of around £350.... isn't it still £450-£480 here?

I love FH4! I bought the game and expansions ages ago now, so I'm all good. My favourite moment was the Quattro barn find (Gene Hunts car from Ashes to Ashes) Class game, and my main reason for still having a foot in the Xbox ecosystem

As a PS5 main, I actually prefer the first 2 of the Tomb Raider reboots to Uncharted, in terms of gameplay at least. Where Uncharted shines is the characters dialogue and interactions, it really is spot on. Tomb Raider though, particularly 'Rise', is much better in gameplay terms. Not as keen on Shadow though

Last thing I bought from Game were 2 Star Wars figures. Not joking

Worse would be if Hogwarts Legacy sold poorly.

I played this on PS5 when it came to PS+ ages ago, really great game, I got the platinum but only completed one of the dlcs. Now helping my daughter through the tougher segments on her Series X!

I wonder if Hogwarts Legacy and Spider-man selling by the boatload, has made EA think they can't compete in the movie into video game front?

Is it a replacement for the regular Series X, or will it happily coexsist? If its the latter, there'll be 4 base Sku's

Leaving Ninty out of this, because- No chance, If everything were to go multi-platform the only real differentiator would then be 'do you want gamepass and digital, or PS plus with digital/and physical?' Would MS and Sony still make their respective consoles? If so, I'll go PlayStation, purely because I have a lot of friends on there, over 180 owned games and over 6700 trophies, on Xbox I've got 7 friends, 30 owned games and a gamerscore of just over 60,000.
Maybe I'm putting too much thought into it, but I like certain games on certain systems. Hope that made sense 🤣

HI FI Rush when its a fair bit cheaper than £27, and IF MS bring out more XB games down the line, I'll double dip into Halo and Forza Horizon IF they appear on Playstation.

Well after Sonys earnings call the other day, PS games COULD pop up anywhere too. The wording was very vague during that 🙃

@GuyinPA75 he's on gamepass core atm. He dropped ultimate in autumn. Apparently won't go back to GPU until CoD goes on there. As I say, he's a tight wad

Just told my pal about the Xbox lay offs, and all he said was: : "Don't care, when are we getting all the Call of Duties on gamepass?" "BUY some games you moron" was pretty much my reply. Tight wad

@eire-shabba our household buys CDs, Blu Rays and Disc/Cartridge games all the time. My son literally bought season 6 of My Hero Academia in HMV today. As long as there's physical media we want, we'll buy it.

The PS360 is so easily the best era of consoles. Playing Halo 3, Gears & the Force Unleashed games on 360 and nipping over to PS3 for Last of Us, Killzone 2 and Uncharted. Golden age of gaming that I don't think will ever be beaten

Twice for me.
First one was 6 months old, second lasted a bit less. Got a full refund from Argos. Thought I'd try for a third from Woolworths, got it home and it was dead on arrival. Got refund and got a scarlet red PS3 with 2 controllers. It still works like a charm. It's all a lottery really

Will play FM next week on my daughters xbox (thanks Kiddo x). I love GT7. I think both games deliver what they're meant to, and thats what counts. Also I agree with @Titntin, in that I've never been pestered into buying anything for GT7

For me, Gran Turismo is way better than Forza Motorsport,
BUT, Forza Horizon 4 along with the Lego expansion is my favourite racing game of all time.
Shout outs to Mario Kart and Wipeout too

@Kaloudz the CoD situation is odd to me. The game absolutely flies at launch until the 2nd week of January then plummets when Fifa again takes over again.
Again as a retailer, im wondering what sort of impact a game of CoDs size going on gamepass will reflect on sales for Series X, probably a significant reduction. This acquisition is freaking fascinating tbh!

This game was amazing looking at the time and still is, but my God was it BORING as heck, traded it in after a week and spent most of my early X1 years playing MCC and FH2 instead.

If anything, this whole s***show has convinced me NOT to replace my knackered Series S with another S or X. The stupid pettiness of the gaming industry is unbelievable these days. I had a S for Xbox games and i have a PS5 for PlayStation games, with a a smattering of 3rd party games on each, but this scenario is such BS, all the fun is being drained from gaming st the moment

@Dezzy70 come over to sainsbury's/argos mate, we've got loads for instore pick up tomorrow. Problem is no-one is the slightest bit bothered. Theres more enquiries about the OLED pokemon switch than Series X.

@GamingFan4Lyf totally agree with your comment. I can definitely see the day where its not in their interests to manufacture console hardware any longer. I wouldn't be surprised if they went down the publisher route along with gamepass and xbox controllers only

I may give 5 another go.... i wanted to love it, but it just doesn't grab me like FH4 does

Im primarily a PlayStation guy, but my wife got me a Series S last Christmas. I really enjoy the system, but lack of storage and some performance niggles may push me to a Series X at some point
