Some of he best games in history were simply background images of the game with “Press Start” to play. Lol

I know this is probably going to get some backlash from some of you but here I go…

I wish they would set up the dashboard like the PSN dashboard where they have your games and the “1” PlayStation store button as the 1 row of large icons and then the smaller row above them that hangs in the background for the non game icons. I just get a sense of serenity when I log onto my PSN unlike the anxiety I get from Xbox’s cluttered mess of a dashboard.

Don’t get me wrong, I like both systems respectively, I just feel xbox needs to be simplified like the PSN.

If you go to the sub content under the GTA V deal the X/S upgrade is $10 right now.

It would be better if they just kill the games with gold and add more free in game content for the game pass perks section instead. Concentrate on a higher grade of content for that service. The games with gold platform is dated, pretty much became obsolete when they introduced the game pass platform.

I’m all for these action story driven games. The story lore was really interesting. I normally don’t go out of my way to track down story elements but found myself painstakingly searching for them in Control. Quantum Break was the same way with an engaging story line. I hope Remedy makes another Quantum Break as well!

@OliverOwen And work out the kinks with the ray tracing feature which was one of the main selling points of this new generation.

@dsar9012 I never considered the Goat games as traditional simulator games. They are games that are intentionally programmed with bugs and glitches for comedic relief. Still fun never the less.

@themightyant Don’t get me wrong, I like simulator games like House Flipper. Just feels like they are headed in a strange direction with them.

Why? Why is this even a thing? Simulator games are just getting too stupid.

@dsar9012 I was aiming that response at the gaming industry as a whole. Obviously there are exceptions like Skyrim & Fallout. I think they are using ESO as a filler in the interim but that game gets old and repetitive. I am glad they are extending the development time for Starfield, I want that to be a “blow my mind” experience.

I’m all for them taking their time to deliver a proper current gen product. It irritates me when I buy a game that states will take XX hours to finish which could translate to several months to finish only to have the developer say “Oh hey, guess what? The sequel is coming out 1 month after the first game came out!”

This actually gives us more time to show the first game its well deserved attention.

@mus422 They will probably have hot spots on a 3 dimensional planet map.

Personally I don’t mind if they don’t have manual landing on planets. It will be the same as any other Bethesda game with environment transitions, which I am already used too.

Supposedly the entire game was remade for an Xbox 360 release back when the copyright snobs were cracking down on their IP. Maybe we will get that version.

Hope they don’t get rid of Maria Falck‘s reporting for duty line, cause that’s hilarious. You all know which one I’m talking about. Lol

We live in the age of mass media. Developers are pressured to give ETA’s on their software to keep share holders happy and stay ahead of data miners. It’s tough keeping your projects secret anymore.

He should stick to what he is good at, 2D platformers. He could make a crazy looking sonic style game on current hardware. 2D side scrolling platformers are not dead, they still have a place in current gen hardware.

I’m just wondering when series S will get a game that features any kind of raytracing options, the same hardware is there as the X but no one is implementing it.

If they created this thing with vacuum molded fries at the top with fan holes in the fries I would totally buy it! Lol

A lot of people talk ill of the Series S and I don’t see why? I have a Series S and it runs games like a dream! I was able to pick up a used 1tb expansion card at my local used game store (not GameOver, erm I mean Stop, lol) for $159 and have plenty of storage. If you have a used game store near you I urge you to go there first to get your expansion drives used instead of paying the ridiculous full MSRP.
