Oblivion Remastered PC File Size Leaks Ahead Of Rumoured Xbox Game Pass Launch

Update []: Well folks, Oblivion Remastered is finally real! Bethesda has posted a teaser for the game this afternoon, with the full reveal coming tomorrow, April 22nd.

Original Story: Yep, we're into another week of 2025 without officially hearing about the much-rumoured Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion remaster, but today brings even more evidence of its existence. Following a bunch of Oblivion Remastered images cropping up last week, the game's PC file size has now leaked via Steam - and it's a biggie.

Yep, dataminer X0XLEAK has dug up the amount of drive space you'll need to install the Oblivion remaster on Steam, whenever it does come out. The game's current PC file size sits at just over 120GB - and we'd expect it to be a similar number on Xbox Series X|S as well.

For now, we haven't spotted any similar Microsoft Store leaks for the title, but an imminent Xbox Game Pass launch is seemingly right around the corner. A recent Xbox Support exchange may look severely AI-driven, but its mention of an Xbox Game Pass release on day one should be accurate at least, given Microsoft's acquisition of Bethesda a few years back.

Of course, the moment we hear about Oblivion Remastered being real, we'll bring you the news - and rumour has it that an official announcement and release is due this week.

Is this the week we finally hear about Oblivion Remastered? Talk to us about it down below.
