Tbh this sounds like bs. There was a report last week that another buy out is in the works and this just sounds like he's riding it. Why say anything? He knew he'd be hit with hundreds of questions. If he isn't going to give an answer or even a hint then I don't buy his 'info'.

People seem to forget that, yes, the X is more powerful but it also needs more to render at 4k. So the difference between games are actually minimal and almost non existent if you don't use a 4k display. Biggest downer for the S is the small ssd.

It's been showing in the 'picks for you' section (under console) of the gamepass app for the last 2/3 weeks so this isn't a surprise really.

Xbox have already confirmed that games that are already planned for release on 'other' consoles will remain so. Given the hype for this game the liklihood is this was agreed a long time ago and will still release on them.

End of then day they buy the consoles from customers at rrp (on X and 5) and to make a profit have to raise the price. Simple business. The amounts aren't unexpected, look at all the other scalpers selling them for 4 figures. And anyone who actually knows cex knows they're ridiculously overpriced on most of their stock. Just have a look at their site and look at last year's flagship phones. They're practically charging rrp still for 2nd hand, year old devices.

There will always be issues with day one machinery. Always has been. The overall experience though is vastly positive. You can list hundreds of little things that could be better. Storage, consistency of new tech, even design but what matters is the end result. This was the first time I've preordered a console and got it on day one, I am not disappointed at all. The ssd makes such a huge difference. Yes, storage will be an issue, especially as games get bigger, but xbox has already sorted expansions and an ssd external for non optimised games works fine.

Something more recent. Games with gold are generally quite poor and are found for next to nothing anyway. Compared to the PS Now games they suffer.

@Menchi you are right but the 931 is a low average. I have a couple of WD 1tb and they have 958 and 966 after a fresh format. Your point stands though

I'd say the biggest selling point is Gamepass. PS can't touch it.

The speed! Especially when it comes to bigger open world games. The new controller feels so much better than the original One too.

The 'console war' ended months ago when Xbox stated they don't mind if you don't buy a new console as they're focused on software/subscriptions. The only people interested in any 'war' are fanboy/girl morons. Both consoles are great, only reason I have stuck to xbox is because of Forza.
