If a return to exclusives is not part of the “reset” then they need not bother. Just give it all to playstation. So fed up of the lies with xbox all the time its constant. And while they dribbling on with all the cryptic nonsense about refocusing on xbox a playstation direct few days ago highlights several third party games that aren’t even coming to xbox. They are a joke.

Imagine that, if a machine has a game people want that they cant get elsewhere they will buy said machine.

Nothing positive about promoting ps5 versions of xbox games at an xbox dedicated show, or hearing that fable has been delayed further following the previous delay which was most likely to make sure the ps5 pro version is the best version. Never felt as negative about xbox as i do lately.

@GamingSince84 I completely and absolutely agree. It just so happens that my particular platform of choice- and the one I have invested literally thousands of euros into building up a library on- is the xbox. And it is concerning to see the focus shifting from ensuring the longevity of said console, to catering for a competing console I don’t own or wish to own. People who say the games being everywhere are good for the xbox console and its future are deluded. If people don’t have to buy into the console hardware line to play the games like they used to, why would they buy the new xbox? Where does this leave my console library in the near future if Microsoft decide it isn't worth continuing with the console? They seem to be openly laying the ground works to do away with the xbox by seeking customers elsewhere. It’s concerning to see and anyone who says this isn’t happening or that putting these games on other machines is not harmful to the xbox console is a little deluded in my opinion.

But they will happily advertise xbox titles being on competing consoles when showing the games. What message does that send when they claim to be doubling down on the viability of the xbox console and showing that they are listening to the core audience? Asha is not saving anything and has never been put there to do so.

Well one of those hard choices better be bringing exclusives back or she’s wasting her time.

Eh lets see them address the issues that actually matter, such as giving ppl a reason to buy the consoles and keep xbox alive by keeping killer apps exclusive.

Make sure playstation has the best version guys, xbox customers like myself who have invested heavily in the xbox brand dont really matter anymore in the long run.

They had an opportunity to strengthen the console but they decided to continue make it irrelevant by devaluing the consoles killer apps. This does not suggest they plan on doubling down on pushing their hardware to any significant degree.

As long as their games are on playstation they may as well scrap it. Not enough ppl will buy it.

Well they have to make xbox games exclusive again if they are serious about winning a lot of these ppl back, myself included. Anything else just shows they aren't committed to the next console.

If they don’t lock down exclusives again it’s all for nothing.

Well it was all for nothing, they gave in and now Sony dominate the industry.
